Machine Shop Only: Dropped my head off to verify dimensions. 6 weeks later I stop in to find out why they haven't called me back with any information yet, and they lost my head. They wrote everything down, and then lost the paperwork and my head. Said that they had gotten all of the heads like mine done and back out to the shop. Sure would be nice to know where mine are at.

Martin is the nicest most respectful person within the napa family. He went the extra mile to locate a missing spring for me on a honda block that I took him. The guy is the definition of a good customer service especially during these hard times. Do what you got to do to keep this employee Napa.

This review is for the machine shop only. I had some machine work done on some 302 Ford heads and engine boring and cam bearings. The work was done probably about a year and a half ago and the car has been in build since then. It is a 1925 Model T Coupe with '68 Mustang running gear. It took about two months to get the parts back. They are so unorganized down there it's pathetic. I gave instructions to drill and pin the rocker studs. They didn't do it. They pulled them and installed screw-in studs. The person who did the work, used some sort of white stuff on the studs?? It was not Loctite. I started the engine for the first time over the weekend and it ran for about 45 seconds before the rocker studs broke loose and have unscrewed themselves. This would not have happened if they had done what I told them to do. I cannot trust any of the machine work that they did on the heads. Total incompetence down there. Poor management in the machine shop, and they keep him there!!!

I have been FIGHTING for my life against this cars paint peeling. New spot every time. It's a 2008 tho so whatever, better the paint than the engine. I might just get a big ol can of paint cuz this place does exact colors for sooooo cheap. I was looking online and 8oz was about 50$. 4oz was only 7$ here. 0 BS, no "oh you need this and that and this too!" and gosh, little box with some filters and mixing stick for free with the paint. Customer for life now. So thankful my friend told me just go here. Honest wonderful place

The most helpful friendly counter paint guys ever!! Seems every time NAPA hires new guys to work the paint store they find even better people. How on earth they do this I may never know but my old trucks&cars look great and as technology changes these guys keep up and change me with it and help me to do better&better bodywork&paint tho I am not a pro-body man. I get lots of compliments.
