I've been going to Hope for over 10 years with both my vehicles. She's always done a great job and I trust that she wouldn't sell her business to just anyone. The new owner, Melck, has done a great job on my transmission, alternator, and oil changes and advised me that changing my TMPS was not necessary so I could save the money. Great honest guy!

I have used New hope auto for years and always been happy with the price and the results. Hope takes good care of your vehicle and the prices are fair. If there is an issue with the repair they take care of it immediately and with a smile. This is the shop to use.

Do not come here for major work terrible service. Went to get an engine replaced and the engine they put in still had major problems. Had to come back to get a seal replaced and the engine still had the same exact problem it was like a temporary fix that was done and a waste of thousands of dollars. I advise you do not get major work done here you will be cheated. & Hell to the no you can’t service any of my vehicles in the future. I advise whoever wants service done here should only get easy to moderate things done by these people. Don’t spend thousands here you’ll waste your money and time.

Hope, the owner is just wonderful! I have been taking my car and our company truck to her since I moved to Clearwater. I initially started took my car to her based on reviews I read. As a woman, I am used to mechanics trying to put one over me. Hope is honest and her pricing is fair. I like that she tells you what needs immediate attention. It helps very much when you're on a budget.

This is one of the most honest repair shops around. The owner, Hope, will go out of her way to actually show you exactly what you need for your repairs as well as the finished product. She's a highly credited instructor as well. Pricing is competitive and sometimes there are pricing perks with good discounts. The work always comes with a guarantee. I have been going back for years because the quantity of the work just can't be beat.

BEWARE! Not trustworthy people!!! My husband and I have used the old owner of New Hope Auto Repair before and were very happy. My husband took his truck into the new owner last week because his work truck was running rough and was accelerating up and down while stopped. My husband took it in and met the new owner and decided to give him a shot. He called us and said we needed a new control valve and some sort of evaporator part. He told my husband $450 out the door. We wanted to get a 2nd opinion and were going to pick it up. They called us back and said it would be $107 for the diagnostic. After talking about it we decided to just move forward and have them fix it. They called the next day to say it was ready. The owner then told me it was going to be $485 after telling both my husband and myself $450 out the door. I brought that up and he said "Oh okay, yes I'll change it." Okay no big deal. My husband uses it today for the first time and it is doing the same thing it was doing when we took it in. I called and spoke to the owner today. He tells me that the engine is running smoother but he thinks something is loose in the muffler. He said for my husband to bring it back by. When my husband arrived he basically said the same thing and told my husband to take it to a muffler shop. So basically he ripped us off for $450 and did not fix the problem. At this point I don't even know if anything was fixed on our truck at all. If you want to get ripped off and not get your vehicle fixed correctly than you should definitely try out the new owners of New Hope Auto Repair. If I could give a zero star review I would. Very very disappointed with our experience with the NEW owner that just took over a few months ago!

I stumbled upon New Hope accidentally because another Uhaul dealer screwed my reservation up. New Hope made a bad morning into an amazing day. Super helpful. Super clean truck. Very organized. Extremely friendly. I’ve now been back several times just to use New Hope and I live across town. But it’s worth the quality experience!

It’s a very easy decision for me to come here. The price of whatever it is I’m getting done is so much cheaper then any of those other big name car repair/tire shops! They can perform any complex car repair as well as anything pertaining to tires. They have many years of experience in the business and excellent customer service. There is never a long wait either. Save some money and time and make the switch to New Hope.

I went here to rent a u-haul trailer and the only one available was too small for what I needed it for. I was going to go somewhere else, but was told I could rent a truck for only a few dollars more and since it looked like it was going to rain, I did decide that was the better option. We explained that we only needed it for two hours max, as we were just moving a couch for my son. The price he quoted us was $44, which was $20 more than what the trailer was and I told him I didn’t want to spend that much, but he said that was for the mileage after asking how far we were going (26 miles round trip) I did finally agree to it. We had the truck back in under two hours and only put 26 miles on it. I noticed the next day in my bank that I was charged $76 and when we called to inquire why we were overcharged he told us we had to call corporate and it was out of his hands. So once he got his money which he scammed us for he was done with us. We were lied to and overcharged and nothing was done about it. After calling corporate, we did get $15 back… so it cost us $61 for less than two hours to use a truck to move a couch. Ridiculous.
