Through AAA, I scheduled a tow truck to pick up my car because it wouldn't start and when another tech they have was sent out to try to jump my car's battery on Sunday, when the shop wasn't open. So, on Tuesday, I called for a tow truck to take my car to the shop. Sky arrived rather quickly and was able to get my car secured rather quickly. He also let me know that the tread from my tires was separating, something that I didn't notice at first. I was grateful for him letting me know about that so that I could get that fixed promptly. The drive there was nice and Sky was really friendly the entire time he drove me to the shop. When I went into the lobby, it was rather clean and they provided coffee as well as crisp, cold water. My vehicle was taken in to the shop rather quickly and everything was explained to me rather succinctly and I was kept in the loop the entire five hours I was there. Now, before you say five hours is a long time to wait for a simple repair, they said that they had to try to give the battery a chance before replacing it, so they opted to charge the battery, which had taken five hours to do. They saved me a bunch of money, too, by taking this route as the service was only $20, my cheapest car repair bill yet! All in all, I would definitely return to this shop for future repairs and tune ups. Thank you so much for taking care of me and my car!

Unbelievable service! My car was towed to Pinellas Auto Service (across the street exactly from the motel where I am staying due to Hurricane Milton), after their AAA battery checker told me how good their service was, their tow truck driver was very careful with my 2006 model car when he towed it there on Saturday. I walked over there and at 8am on Monday, they were already working on my car! They found out why it wouldn't start, but didn't end there. They did a complete check up and found out that both my brake lights were out, my air filter was filthy, and two other issues. I was expecting a huge bill, which would add to my crisis mode after the hurricane, but it was very reasonable. Ten stars to this Auto Repair Shop!!

Pinellas Auto Body has been my go-to Auto shop now for 15+ years & I bought my current car from them 7 yrs ago. I trust them! I needed my yearly checkup & needed new tires which I know they don't supply. Also needed a ball joint fixed & alignment with balancing done with the 4 tires I bought. I had an oil change, a drivers side visor replaced that I found & had shipped there & everything else checked. Yes my car is a bit older so it needs regular maintenance. I was given a list of other fixes I need to do but not dire so overall everything I needed done was done right & quickly. I brought my car in on a Wed & got it back by Friday which was what I was told the time it would take. Alan always helps me when he's working. He is friendly, knowledgeable & dependable. I brought my car into Pinellas, having already a sense of the source of the humming noise from the front, and their team of mechanics confirmed that the problem was indeed a defective wheel bearing. Admittedly I was a bit cautious, since I'm an out of towner vacationing in the area and 1200 miles from my own mechanic, but my concerns soon abated after conversing with Paul who answered all of my many questions. It was late in the day so as suggested, I returned first thing the next morning. They replaced the bearing in about 90 minutes as promised, the price was very reasonable, and everything is back to normal. I would highly recommend Pinellas Auto Service to anyone.

I wanna leave a big thank you to the tow truck driver Chris who came and towed my car. I was waiting for Almost 7 hours while other service providers were denying my requests for a tow and he came and got me. He was a lifesaver. Kind, empathetic, compassionate and very professional. It was a long distance tow and he got me and my car to my destination safely. He's an awesome employee who really cares about people and his customers. This place is horrible we bought a truck from them that was broken and they knew about because we took it to the HINO and they confirmed that the truck had been touched prior to try and fix it. It only took us an hour to called them back to notify the problem and the company refused to assist with this matter.

In July 2025 I was having some transmission issues with my 2012 GMC Yukon! I found Nick at Transmission Services! He examined the whole vehicle and determined it did need transmission work! Nick carefully checked the transmission and found problems with my transmission, valve cover gaskets and recommended a transmission cooler! (I travel pulling a 4000 lb travel trailer through the mountains). He gave me all my options and costs associated with the truck. My wife and I prayed about it and decided to put in a brand new transmission w/5 yr warranty! We recommend Nick to all of our friends! My car was towed here Dec 29th @ 1021 am. I know time of arrival because the tow truck man texted me I waited for a phone call nobody called I called @ 214 pm to be told it hasn't been looked at yet & I'll get a call back. Nobody called I called Dec 30th @ 333 pm he gave me a summary of what they think was wrong but couldn't give me a quote yet he was gonna look it up & call me back. Nobody called. I called Dec 31st he once again explained problem & gave me a quote. January 1st holiday closed. Jan 2nd & 3rd no call. I called Jan 4th @ 1205 pm to learn we are waiting on a fusible link & that my starter is the problem & not the alternator . Jan 5th I call I get more updates I don't need a new battery but still waiting on fusible link . Jan 6th @ 255 pm I call asking when is it going to be done I'm told Jan 7th. Jan 7th I come to up to shop since I have received no calls I'm told my car will be done in 1 hr 30 min & they will call me I say ok if not I'll call YOU in 2 hrs. 2 hrs go by I call as usual they say maybe by 3 pm but they will call me im told thus in a slight tone as if I'm be aggravating. No call. January 8th at 903 am Steve sends me a text saying my car is ready. When I arrive I ask what happened to calling me yesterday he basically said it was a mess yesterday & he tried to call me this morning but the phone was acting funny so he sent a text. This WHOLE experience was strange rude unpleasant unprofessional. This was my 1st time here but i definitely got the message of you & your car are unimportant nobody calls you about anything & things move at a I'll get to it when I get to it if I get to it pace
