A waste of your time and your money, I passed the emission but failed the test due to human factor including the technician lying about my hoses being disconnected which is not true at all. My report came out to write tampered. This is not a honest shop, do not go there, save your money. I have the smog report showing two lies about my hoses being disconnected, any mechanically inclined person would point out the irony of how could you run the test with all these hoses disconnected. Just to scam your money to make you put in new hoses in your old vehicle obviously. The report shows I passed emission, but they want to scam you any ways. Further more, I went to a test only station on the same day and passed the test no problem, God bless California for having test only stations so people don't get ripped off by these lying mechanics. The guy further harasses me by messaging me a threat to turn my license plate to the BAR for investigation, which I welcome, and when said investigation is done I WILL take this shop to court for a refund for non-service and lying in addition for punitive damages for lying about the hose in my car. I will see to it so that I have more proof, I will be waiting for BAR people any day now. I currently have the test result from this shop and the same day passing paper from the test only station which would put their credentials to question to say the least, then when I get the BAR investigation I can get punitive damages awarded in court, sweet, when that paper comes in this lawsuit will be worth my time.

Called to check if I can bring in car to get it checked out after reading some reviews. I tried to let them know the issue and trying to also explain what I've replaced. Right away he replied how do you know. Right away making the customer experience bad. Right ways he told me he's to busy to check elsewhere.

took my car in and they said it was the battery and alternator had replaced both 1 week later car did'nt start took car back and he said it was electrical problem and he didnt work on that.Took car to Honda dealer and they said the problem was with the door module and that the alternator and battery should not have been changed. 600 dollars spent for wrong diagnostic

Great place to come get your oil changes, brakes change and all them other services. Great customer service, great prices, and they are quick.(when theres low to no wait) Have had my brake changed here and need A new brake caliper & bracket. They showed me my original part and told me what was wrong with it (screw hole shredded) before proceeding to order what I needed. Pretty much would've been in and out but the dude who brought the parts over, brought the wrong side. I'd recommend this place and I've already been back for oil changes. 👍👍

Dishonest auto repair shop. Watch and stand next to them when they change oil. Compare oil color before and after, make sure they actually did the work. Their skill is also terrible. The oil leaks out and wet the floor after one hour.

Amazing honest mechanics that will tell you what you need and what you don't need. My family has been going to this mechanic for the past 10 years and they've been very honest and not money hungry. They will tell you how much it will cost and they'll be honest with what your car needs. They deal well with a lot of Japanese cars of all age ranges. The owner believes in karma and is just a good moral person in general. So trust me when I say he is a good honest mechanic and his team is great. The city knows about them, which is why they're pretty busy on Saturdays.

Horrible experience. Went for brake pads and they only replaced one and left one side with no brake pad what so ever. I dont see how they could forget. HOPEFULLY DAMAGE ISNT CAUSED DUE TO NO BRAKE PAD! Now I Have to wait until Monday to contact them because they closed before the time stated in the voice mail and I can't leave a message because it's full.

BEWARE OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT. The owner and mechanics are full of LIARS!!! We’ve been their customer for years for minor car problems like tire issues, oil change, etc (instant fix). But little I didn’t know was they are a big hoax and scammer!!! DON’T EVER LEAVE YOUR CAR TO THEM. According to him, there was a leakage from water pump and needs to be changed. And we need to leave the car to them for 4hrs. Then they will call us once done. We NEVER received any call from them, my husband decided to just go there and check. He was surprised that the car was already park at the side of the shop. It was done (according to them). But when my husband about to drive it home (from the shop), the AIRCON WAS NOT FUNCTIONING!!! It was perfectly fine and working properly, no issues at all before we brought it there, not UNTIL THEY TOUCHED IT. They checked it again, and said there was a leak and there he started MAKING STORIES AND NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY OF THEIR FAULT! He tried to make a deal about it BUT STILL, HE WILL CHARGE US AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING, FOR ALL THE MISTAKE THEY DID! HE DOES’NT WANT TO BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR IT! Again, our AC was perfectly fine and THEY BROKE IT and they continuously denying it and making stories! SO PLEASE KEEP YOUR CARS AWAY FROM THEM, UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CARS TO BE BROKEN JUST LIKE OURS.

The workers are so kind and professional as well. They are honest with their work and do not overcharge for services. As a woman, I feel a lot of anxiety whenever I have to get something done for my car, but ever since I discovered north el monte automotive, they have been my go to place for 3 years now. Simply honest, FAST, and hardworking business. Oil change: Takes less than 20 minutes. But of course depends on the volume of customers, but the three times ive been so far its been less than 20 min. I have an old lexus and they quoted me a very competitive price compared to other businesses, literally $10-$20 less compared to other businesses. Check up: I asked for a check up because I was going on a road trip. They will check on your car and ask you to pay whatever you want to pay. Every time I get an oil change, they always check everything for me anyway and put in air into my tires too! Like I did not even know I needed that ahah. And if i need something changed, they will tell me and won’t pressure me at all either. Truly a rare gem!
