Very pleased with the quality of work and the speed at which it is performed. One of our delivery vans suffered a mechanical failure Thursday afternoon and after speaking with Scott, they were able to get us squeezed in and our van back in under 24hrs. Scott and his crew, especially Jesse were very helpful and knowledgeable. They also showed integrity when they called thinking they had made a mistake. They didn't have to do this we would not have known any better. But they did call and confess they may have made a mistake (which they hadn't in the end). Prices seemed fair also. Bottom line is I would take my vehicle/s back again.

I have had my Mazda worked on here a few times. I took my car in today because when I had the oil changed last, the place I took it too gave me that run down of "you need this this this this and this fixed." I took it in to NW Autoworks to have them look it over and get whatever needed to be fixed done and they called be back within just a few hours and told me that not only did the car look great, but nothing needed to be worked on even in the near future. I have been to mechanics that will "fix" something just to bill you. I really appreciate the honesty from these guys. Would recommend them to friends and family.

Scott and Jessie are the mechanics you are always searching for. Honest, fast, and they take the time to explain what is going on with your vehicle. They replaced my heater core in a jiffy, and it was cheaper than their own quote and the other guy’s. There was no question of who I was going to take my vehicle back to in preparation for a long road trip. I hope I can find mechanics as good as these two wherever I live next.

These guys are total angels. I’ve been bugging Scott and Jessie with my car drama for a while, and they always provide honest and above-and-beyond customer care. Aside from that, they never make me feel stupid, offer incredibly fair pricing, seem genuinely interested in helping, and will tell you straight up what issues need to be addressed with your vehicle. If you're looking for an honest, reliable, friendly shop, look no further. This shop serves big dad energy--they explain everything in detail, let you make informed decisions, and make sure you don't get taken advantage of at other shops. I feel so grateful to have found Scott and his team at Northwest AutoWorks. I recently had a pretty bad experience at another mechanic so I was feeling frustrated. When I called NW Autoworks, Scott was so kind and patient as I explained what was going on with my car (which I didn't fully understand). He got me in promptly, got my car fixed and ready to drive within a day and explained everything in a way that was understandable. The whole process felt seamless. I can rarely say that about going to the mechanic. Can't recommend this place enough!! Thank you!!

I love these folks! Scott and his team do an upstanding job. They have excellent customer service at their front desk and on the phone which is important and I greatly value when doing business and especially car stuff that is always money one doesn't want to spend. NW Autoworks assess your vehicle for what you bring it in for and they will check other things if you ask and will check that your car might have things coming up like how many miles before needs new brake pads etc. I always ask for them to check all the things. Then Scott calls and helps you decide which things to do first or must be done which I appreciate it. My car is pushing 120k miles so it starts to need fixing of all the things. They have solid follow through and I feel safe in my car when I pick it up and that I didn't get a big run around or over charged. So grateful to have found this business to fix all our vehicles when we need. If you're on the fence on where to take your vehicle call these folks you won't be disappointed!!

I can't tell you how rare it is to find a mechanic who won't try to rip you off. Particularly if you happen to be a woman, and even if you know what you're talking about lol. I've always been of the "learn everything there is to know about this before you even walk into the place so that they don't rip you off" mindset, but I never have to worry about that here. Super respectful, explains everything without being condescending, never tries to rip you off, really chill, genuinely respectful, and nice guy. Does great work too.

My Honda Element wouldn't start and had other issues that needed to be fixed. I asked to have multiple things repaired, but after the shop reviewed the issues, they actually talked me out of doing a few things because they weren't in as bad a shape as I thought. Whenever a shop talks me out of spending money I see that as a great sign that they are honest and reliable. My experience dealing with the owner was straight forward and he was very friendly. I would give this shop more than 5 stars if I could. I highly recommend it.

Scott and his team are awesome. I’ve spent almost a year trying to find a new mechanic since my old one retired, in the interim I’ve been to countless shops with service that left a lot to be desired so I was incredibly relieved when a friend recommended NW Autoworks. Scott is always so welcoming and friendly, he is super knowledgeable and answers my questions with helpful responses, and he takes the time to explain what repairs/ services my car needs and why. I’m trying to learn more about my car and it’s maintenance so this kind of quality service is perfect. Additionally, Northwest Autoworks are quick and easy to schedule with. I recently moved to Portland, OR and have struggled to find an auto mechanic shop that cared. Scott and his amazing team have been so easy to work with and beyond honest. When a shop says "if you can find the part for cheaper, order it, and we will install it" you know they care. Any other shop would not allow that. I will be taking my Chevrolet Van and Volkswagen to Scott for everything. Scott and team did a killer job installing new shocks, lift kit, and all new wheels and tires. So pleased in how it turned out.

Honest and kind. Scott and the guys that work here are so nice. They are fair with labor and price and are honest with regards to what actually needs work on our cars. I was going to my car dealership out in Tigard and they were trying to charge me an arm and a leg for a non existent "leak". I'm so glad I came across Scott and his team who did a second look at no charge and told me there was no leak/issues that needed repairs. That alone saved me 6k in made up expenses. Since then we take all our cars here for anything we need.
