Made an appointment with a female on the phone. I showed up on time at 2pm on Friday 9/22. A young man at the front looks at the computer and tells me that I do not have an appointment and to come in 2 hours. Why make an appointment if you can't keep it? At least call the customer and tell him that you are backed up and reschedule. If the front desk does not do their simple job, why should I expect that mechanics will do theirs?

Northwest Auto fix found a bearing problem in the front two wheels which two prior mechanics had misdiagnosed. I brought my Toyota RAV4 in to the mechanic that I've been using for the last couple of years and he said that it was not wheel bearing but probably transmission or transfer case. He recommended a transmission shop that I brought it to who said it was a 90% probability that it was transmission and he could fix it for $6,000. I thought I would check Northwest Auto fix since I had used them in the past to work on the Hondas that I owned previously, including transmission work. Northwest Auto fix diagnosed the problem as both front wheel bearings being bad. I was skeptical at first but since it would be much much cheaper than a transmission if that really was the problem, I had them go ahead and work on it. Well, it turned out to be both front wheel bearings. When I came in to pick up my car, they had the bad bearings waiting for me to check and they really were both bad! Better yet, when I drove the car away the sound was gone!! Not only did they diagnose the problem correctly, but they potentially saved me many thousands of dollars. Northwest Auto fix will be my go-to mechanic from now on!

I am incredibly pleased by the work this company does. From the owner to the mechanics they strived diligently to restore and repair my family truck. Understanding that times can be tough they offered their labor at a fraction of what it should have cost in comparison to other companies. I recently visited NW AutoFix for a routine oil change. We had previously been there to service our van when they were Clarke's Discount. The whole staff was very helpful, especially considering I was waiting for my car with a cranky baby. They put on kids shows/music in the waiting area, and were very accommodating and understanding. They even fixed my tail light that I didn't know was out. Just like every experience we had with Clarke's Discount, they went above and beyond to make sure our car was serviced and safe. They worked to create a relationship, not just check the box, and we will continue to return for any future maintenance or repairs. Getting an estimate here is an act of dentistry. Appointments made are not kept; it's as if this shop is too busy to be bothered to work on your car, but would never tell you that. What they excel at is wasting your time and giving the 2024 Customer Service Runaround™️

I didn’t have the best experience with NWAuto. I’d asked for a quote on the work that was needed. Only confusing was providing for me. Nobody at the front desk could tell me what was needed. Too bad, I now use another company that seems to have my better interests in mind. They did my next service and completed my needs. I hate to give a bad review, however I think my story should be told.

As someone who has had plenty of issues with automobiles over a lifetime, I can honestly say NW Auto Fix has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Worked with Jon to have after market heated leather seats installed for my 2013 Tundra. Not only was the work of high quality, but they charged me very fair prices. Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had with an auto shop. Moving from out of town where i have my go to guy and family for car needs, I was really not looking forward to finding a new place near me. I searched a few places in the Hillsboro area and was so impressed with the ride share option and the customer service over the phone! They fit me in at short notice, made me feel like family when I was there, explained to me and showed me what was going on, gave fair drives, and did an excellent job with the repair. As long as I’m within reasonable distance of them, I’ll be continuing to come back! I always refer my friends to them when they have a car issue come up.

I brought my Yukon XL to NW AutoFix because it was a shop that worked with my warranty company. I didn't know them, but we got very familiar. My warranty company was worthless and fought every step of the way. I was very very happy with the way these guys helped me through the whole process though. In the end they replaced my engine with a new one and it's running great. Through no fault of the shop, my car was there for close to a year. This wasn't just an inconvenience for me, but also for the shop. They had to put up with my car being in their way for a year. They were understandably upset, but nothing but professional with me. I've already brought it back to them for some unrelated work because I like the shop, and appreciate all they've done for me. They not only fixed my car, but fought with the warranty company on my behalf. I'd bring all of my vehicles to them if I lived a little bit closer to them.

I had a frustrating experience at this place. Like many others have mentioned, they don’t keep appointments and often fail to follow up. If they can’t demonstrate basic professionalism, I can’t trust them to handle my car repairs ethically. I’m relieved I chose not to fix my car here.

Seller Rashid was informative and helpful. Not open to negotiating on the price but his reasoning made sense to me. Rashid gave me a fair price for my trade in. Overall I'm on the fence. Check engine light came after 3 weeks (Cylinder 1 miss). I haven't looked into fixing it yet. Just not what you expect after 3 weeks.

I reached out and received amazing communication, fast service and quality work.
