We needed a vehicle towed away from our driveway and repaired, and Oscar’s Auto towed it away the next day as scheduled! We also had Oscar’s Auto repair our windshield wiper fluid issue and they got it done within a few hours on the weekend! I’d like to also point out that Christina at the front desk was very kind and thoughtful by offering us some bottled water while we were waiting + offered to change the TV channel for us so that our boys will have something to watch. We highly recommend Oscar’s Auto.

A bad install ! I have a recording of Oscar himself saving they installed the wrong rotors ! He said I gave him wrong rotor as if I'm the mechanic! When doing an install do you not compare part to original! Yea auto zone said the same thing ! He was to check the part he was installing but didn't ! Now we have to pay double ! I'm also reporting him to BAR !

My wife was driving north on I-75 headed back home when her car started acting up. She broke down just as she exited the highway. After waiting for a couple of hours for a tow truck for AAA only to be told it would be another couple of hours, she called Oscar's Auto Center. They were at her car ready to tow within 15 minutes! They also replaced the alternator, charged the battery, and gave the car a good inspection to ensure that the car would be able to complete the trip. Everyone was very friendly. She was back on the road within a couple of hours of her call to Oscar's Auto Center! Many thanks for your exemplary service! We really appreciate it.

Oscars Auto Center saved my day when within one hour I was back on the road again. There was a tow and part replacement and all was fairly priced. Jose , the tow driver, was very polite and considerate. Oscar was friendly and gave me estimate before starting the work. If anyone was to need repair I would recommend these people. My tire went flat on my way home from Gainesville to St Petersburg a few months back. It was late on a Saturday so I was very pleased to find that Oscar was open 24 hours. Had the car towed there and Oscar had me back on the road in about a hour at the cost of about $400. Unfortunately, I only made it about 40 miles south when the new tire went flat. It was about 2am at this point so I had to wait until a tire store opened several hours later. They checked the tire and found that the stem had not been tightened correctly, and that the sensor was also not correctly installed. Had to buy another new tire to replace Oscar's for another $400. Oscar and I discussed some amount of refund. He asked me to provide the receipt for the new tire which I did. That was the last I heard from him. I have tried to call him multiple times and left messages with his assistant, but have never received a return call. Thoroughly dissatisfied. I never said full refund. You haven't offered me any refund. You just ignored my repeated calls.

My wife and I were heading to Orlando for my birthday celebration and the main belt shedded off on the interstate. Instantly googled closest repair shop and Oscars Auto Center came up. We pulled in the lot, he popped the hood and knew exactly what it was. Gave me a wonderful price and immediately pulled it in the shop. Had us back on the road within 30min. 10/10

Do not use Oscar as a mechanic. I thought he was a honest person but he is not . I came to him to have my brakes and rotors done . Not even two weeks later I was back because my brake pads and rotors were ALREADY WORE OUT. I brought in the wrong rotors size , But it’s his job to make sure the parts were correct. The front desk assistant lady advised that they always match the original parts to confirm if the new part is correct. She told us verbally ( which I have on recording) that they made a mistake and the guys did not check if the parts matched .She said sorry that’s on us , so we had to end up spending more money on new (rotors + new caliber because it was a bad installment. This caused everything to mess up because the rotors were not correct. Also the car is still leaking brake fluid . He is not professional and he gets upset and talks to people crazy when you have a complaint about in correct installment they do. Never again.

This man is a blessing! Not only did he change my tire when I had a long road trip ahead but he did it when it was almost midnight! He was able to get me back up and running on the road in no time. There’s no way to make this short. I was in Florida recently with a hurricane response team. I drove straight from Texas when I got the call and after a blow out near Lake Charles my borrowed vehicle broke down in Ocala at the hotel front door the night I checked in. I replaced the serpentine belt the next day but the vehicle wouldn’t start. I got sent to Tallahassee and had to leave the vehicle at the hotel for two weeks. I had researched repair shops and decided to go with Oscar’s because he offers towing which I needed but also his shop has great reviews. Christina was professional and personable in handling my call. Great talking with her! It was late Saturday when the tow picked it up. Shop is closed Sunday so first thing Monday morning Oscar called me with the estimate. The repair was done and vehicle ready that same afternoon! A week later, I had a different issue and called Oscar. Like I mentioned, the shop is closed on Sunday but to my surprise Oscar answered. I dropped it off the next morning and by chance asked if he might have my tire size available. The vehicle is never driven and the tires on it though VERY low mileage, were 10 years old. Oscar had them in stock. I already knew about the brakes being bad but forgot to tell him. When he was changing the tires he noticed the brakes and called me. He had it all done, earlier than estimated, that afternoon. I had Uber’d to the shop the first time. Oscar asked if I was still nearby at the hotel and offered to have me dropped off. Then when the vehicle was ready, he had someone available and had me picked up, easily saving me $40 round trip with tip. That was over and above and so appreciated. I drove the vehicle 1100 miles home. The owner of the vehicle has the receipts only to know what was done, he owes me nothing, and I told him all about Oscar’s.

This place is amazing! I went in with a window that got stuck. I actually had 3 broken windows but I only went there for one as one got stuck down. They gave me an estimate and the worst case scenario of having to replace the motor. Which I felt I had no choice to get it done as you can’t keep a window down in Florida. So thinking I’m leaving there with one fixed window and a bill that was unexpected, we waited while they worked on our truck. Once finished I expected to hand over the credit card and be on our way. The gentlemen came into the waiting room and sat down next to me and gave me an update. He said I have good news and good news.. Not only did they find out what was wrong and fix all 3 broken windows, they did it $200 less than what I was originally quoted. I’m a single mom who also takes care for my father! Life is hard! What this company did for me today was more than just helpful, they actually made a huge difference in my life! I gave the gentleman a hug and left there with happy tears in my eyes! Who needs pep boys when you have Oscar’s!

Left Siesta Key towing my 2023 Regal LS9 Boat that weighs 8,000 pounds north to Michigan. Stopped at Ocala, FL WAWA for fuel. Checked hubs on trailer and they were all smoking hot! No trailer service centers could help as it was 3:30PM on a Thursday. Oscar was 1 block away so I decided to stop and see if they could help me. His team put 4 new wheel bearings on my trailer and repacked the grease. One break pad was worn out probably due to a sticky caliper. The swapped my front and rear axel brakes at my request because parts where a week out. I made to to Nashville safely and will stay with my daughter until I can have Modern Marine replace the brakes on Wednesday. Thank you for helping a guy out in a pinch! Great guys! Highly recommend!!!!

There's a reason Oscar's has been in business as long as it has! I was having tons of issues with my 2021 Ford Ecosport regarding my alternator, battery, and fuses. They helped me every single step of the way, triple checked their work every time, and made sure I was driving a stable and safe vehicle every time I left their shop. They didn't over charge me for parts or work I didn't need, and even went out of their way to find me a cheaper alternator even though they absolutely didn't have to. Their communication was amazing, and I truly believe they took amazing care of me and my vehicle. I will absolutely be coming back with ANY basic maintenance or car issues that I have!!
