I have a Volkswagen Passat. I dropped off at this dealership. I normally check my vehicle in our way to a different dealership Lucky for me the dealership I normally take it to would not take my vehicle in over the weekend. My vehicle was inspected for an accident that I had. The mechanic was very thorough and recommended many things that needed major attention that other dealerships said it was OK. I had two other Volkswagen mechanics service my vehicle. They told me everything was good. In the end, I was lucky enough to have a great mechanic work on my car that showed great attention to detail for all issues My car had. It’s hard to get a quality mechanic. Whenever I need Volkswagen service, I will definitely come back and request the same mechanic again. The service manager was very helpful in solving my issues I will definitely return

I chose this rating because I had to essentially "fight" to be heard about the unsatisfactory experience and service to my vehicle. I had to get a more senior tech involved to actually fix my car and at the very least acknowledge that the air conditioning was not in fact blowing cold. Also, the original tech that worked on my vehicle did not perform the services I paid for and his tech number was not on my ticket. I know this because the same tech number was used on both service ticket. When I inquired about their 609 certification with the Service Manager, he had no clue what I was speaking on. I told him that technicians working on AC must have this certification, again he had no clue about that. It was also noted on my inspection that the AC condenser failed, which means this would be something covered under warranty for repair. When I inquired about that failure, I was told by the advisor that it did not actually fail but they used that line to show the air did not blow cold and I will be charged the diagnosis and recharge fee for my AC. My refrigerant level was 169/650...which means there must be a leak somewhere....and my "air" was blowing warm and was still blowing warm when I picked the car up the first time. Another issue I encountered was not having the shuttle available, I inquired about the service when I called to make the appointment, noted it online, as well as asked about it when I called that morning. The shuttle was not made available to me making me take an uber so I can return to work in a timely manner. My first time getting my vehicle service here, it all went well. This negative experience has greatly overshadowed that experience and fear with this being the closest VW dealership in southern md that there will be no available competence service for my truck.

Worst service ever. Went in due to my Atlas needing a software update that only the vw dealer can perform. So no choice had take it in. They made me pay to get another diagnostic which came to the same conclusion that the car needed software update. I previously had it diagnosed at the used dealership I brought it from and the same day took car and paperwork stating what needed to be done to the vw in Waldorf. They claim it had to be diagnosed through their tech and it was 1.5hrs labor. All the tech did was plug in the scanner saw the 2 codes then proceeded to do update. I paid an extra $255 for 5min of work but only the vw can do update. Worst dealership service center ever. If you can avoid going there it's a vw in Annapolis with way better service bit of a drive but it will be worth it.

Absolutely the worst service center in southern Maryland. Incompetent front desk staff, a service manager who does not care about his customers and a department that doesn’t know anything about customer service or what they are charging their customers! We have an extended warranty and they called the warranty company and told them a completely different story than what they told us was wrong with our car. This is the second time we’ve had to use them for work on our Volkswagen vehicles and this is the second time we have had to go round and round with the staff here to even attempt to use our extended warranty. First time, they wanted to charge us more than what the warranty approved for parts prices and second time they told the warranty company a story so they wouldn’t cover the work at all. Even worse, this service center charges a $199 diagnostic fee and then an additional $32.50 for their mechanics to use their tools. Why is that not covered under labor?! All of this to say, I know multiple people in southern Maryland who have worked at this exact service center who have left because they all say NO ONE knows what they are doing at this location. If you can avoid this place, I would! Drive the few extra miles to get better service and competent staff. Oh and we took the car to the location we bought it (a ford dealership) and they were able to do all the work, covered under warranty. Imagine that. This is why I will NEVER deal with another dealership that isn’t owned by Tom Kody.

I am updating my previous review (see below). Since my review I was contacted by the dealership and they found a way to honor their initial agreement. Previous review: Even though I was very excited and happy about my New VW Tiguan, this dealership where I bought it at, choose to NOT honor the 10,000 and 20,000 mile oil change care even though I have it in writing and signed with approval. I would say to anyone that is buying a vehicle from this location, having something in writing is still not enough and good luck! They were unwilling to work this out.

Everybody here was amazing! My mom has always raved about this location and I see why. Chaun helped me with what I needed done from the service department (an oil change). He was very pleasant and welcoming. While waiting on my vehicle I went to look at cars with Eric Hood, he’s easily one of the best car salesmen I’ve met. No I didn’t leave with a vehicle but I left knowing that I would be coming back soon to purchase a vehicle from him when ready. He was nice, not pushy, and just great all around. I’d recommend this location to anybody.

Brought in my Subi WRX because the battery kept dying. Not only did Wayne diagnose the problem (DCM malfunction), he also got the replacement part and battery covered under warranty. And it was done on the exact day he said it would be done. AND he improved some of the wiring for a light kit I installed. This was probably the fastest and easiest purchase of a new vehicle we have ever experienced. We called and spoke with Tyronne who assured us he had what we wanted. When we arrived he had it sitting next to the entrance ready to take for a ride! We were so impressed with how he knew about the Vehicle and what is included we didn’t need to look at anything else. We didn’t even do a test drive because when you know what you want you get it and don’t haggle or waste your time shopping around. I cannot say how happy my husband is with his new Atlas!!! It’s perfect and the ease of purchasing it is the icing on the cake! We are all about treating people well and want the same in return. We got that and then some from our Salesman to the Managers. We will be back for our Service needs and to purchase anything else! Happy customer ♥️

I happily purchased a car from this dealership thinking the salesman was forthcoming with all of the questions that I had. No more than two weeks later, my vehicle starts shaking violently and the service advisor notifies me that my rims are cracked/bent and because of the aftermarket modifications done to the vehicle, It would not be covered under warranty. When purchasing the vehicle, I asked my salesman if there were any aftermarket modifications done to the vehicle to which he stated “there were no modifications done and this vehicle is maryland state inspected so It should be up to par.” I should add that the vehicle was shaking during our test drive to which he responded “this normally happens when the car sits for a long time.” I raised these concerns to both Don (GM) and Anthony (Manager) on multiple occasions. When finally responding after three weeks of no communication, they told me that because of my lack of diligence in inspecting the vehicle, he will not be assisting in anyway possible. His exact verbiage was “It’s on the customer to check these things. If you didn’t want It, why buy It.” I would strongly urge any new buyers to take caution when purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership as It seems their primary concern is closing sale even if It means withholding pertinent information.

My experience with them started off with me getting my car appraised by them. They offered me almost 10,000 less than carmax ended up giving me… I told them I would be going to carmax to get an appraisal and was very quickly offered quite a different number. The car buying process was not bad although they kept saying the car was “priced competitively” although it wasn’t the greatest of deals. I also was not impressed with how they seemed to lack any kind of knowledge on the cars they’re selling. Mind you I was buying a VW from the VW dealership and they had no clue about general information of the car. How can you tell me it’s a great deal on the car if you don’t even know what exactly the car is. If I wasn’t in a rush to buy a car and was limited to buying closer to home I would’ve liked to find a better deal as some dealerships further up the road were offering the same car with less miles for a similar if not lower price. I ended up purchasing it and all was fine up until I am driving out of the parking lot and notice that the passenger side grab handle is broken. Now I know it’s something small and I didn’t notice because the salesmen sat on that side blocking it, but I feel like it isn’t an unreasonable ask for them to take care of it. I was disappointed with the response when I contacted them with the salesmen again basically telling me to take advantage of the money I saved to get it fixed and then wanted to sell me the part for $80 plus however much they want to rob me for to fix it. I will gladly buy it from amazon or the VW online parts store as it is listed for less than half of what they wanted. What really rubbed me the wrong way was the lack of care they had once I bought the car. The people that were so polite and nice before didn’t seem to care one bit once they made their sale. I waited a couple weeks to receive my tags since part of the fees were for tags title and registration to be taken care of by them, but when I received my tags I only received one plate for some reason. I contacted them again about this and was told to just contact the mva and take care of it myself. I wouldn’t be as frustrated if I didn’t just pay them to take care of all of this for me just for me to have to go to the mva myself. Overall it wasn’t the worst experience in comparison to some I’ve had but it was extremely disappointing how they treat customers once they’ve made their money and I will not be going back here in the future.

I inquired on a car through online and the employees I interacted with were pleasant without being pushy! I started emailing Rob J. and Glenda B. who were super helpful. When I arrived the vehicle I inquired on was waiting for me up front and I was greeted by Chris T. He was amazing with helping me with my recent car purchase! I came in just expecting to view a vehicle I saw online but ended up falling in love with it and purchasing it the same day! Well, I finally have a new car. Switched from Range Rover to Volkswagen and I know I made the right choice. I was convinced that I would only ever buy Range Rover until I realized that it was a money pit ($3,000 maintenance a year). My Husband has a Volkswagen Atlas and he never seemed to have any problems and his maintenance is very low so I thought I would consider a Volkswagen for myself. I also looked at the Volvo XC60 but decided on the Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport. It absolutely has all the bells and whistles and the car rides so smooth that you can feel so relaxed that you might want to go to sleep. Did I mention that the car also has massaging seats that I have not turned on yet and will only use while parked or I would go to sleep. I absolutely love the car, the color of the car and the Ourisman Volkswagen of Waldorf Dealership where we purchased. The experience was great and no pressure (because I mean we went many times and no one pushed us into anything). We dealt with great Salesmen LJ, and Linwood, excellent and fair Manager’s Anthony and Rodney and finally, our new best friend Dave in Finance. Dave and Anthony have the patience of a Saint and Linwood will get all of your questions answered quickly. We went to several Volkswagen Dealerships in the area but ultimately returned to Ourisman Volkswagen of Waldorf to purchase. We feel we got a very fair price and we love the car. So, if you are in the market for a car, Ourisman Volkswagen of Waldorf is where you should go—they are highly recommended!

Excellent experience with Alyssa and Jon - They kept their word I drove from Arlington, VA to purchase a certified pre-owned 2023 Solterra from Waldorf Subaru, and I'm glad I made the trip. I did extensive research on pricing and compared several dealers in the area. Waldorf was reasonable in their negotiation, they worked with me to reach a fair deal. At one point, I asked if they could deliver the car to Arlington and handle the final sale paperwork there instead of me driving to Waldorf. They agreed happily. Before we finalized those arrangements, I decided to try another dealer that was closer to home who had the same car at a cheaper price but with more mileage. That dealer knew the car and its features well, but when I test drove their vehicle, the condition wasn't what I was looking for even though they had a lower price. That's when I made the drive to Waldorf instead. Alyssa was my salesperson and Jon Orofino, the sales manager, both went above and beyond. Since I was buying used and had specific requests about features I wanted to verify, they made a strong effort to get me all the information I needed. They were patient with my questions and thorough in their responses. What really stood out was their integrity. There was some confusion from Subaru corporate about the complimentary year of Subaru Connect service that comes with certified pre-owned vehicles. Even though the dollar amount was minimal compared to the purchase price, Waldorf sent me a check after the sale to make it right. They kept their word - that means a lot. I'll be honest, as Subaru's first ever EV, the 2023 Solterra is new territory, and they didn't have answers to every technical question. But what they lacked in EV-specific knowledge, they more than made up for with their effort, responsiveness, and most importantly, the quality of the vehicle they offered. They worked to find answers and made sure I felt confident in my purchase. If you're shopping for a Subaru in the DC/Maryland area, I recommend Waldorf Subaru. Ask for Alyssa or Jon.
