Ray and Stuart are super knowledgeable about their industry. I've used this location for a few years now and have always had excellent service. They are helpful, friendly, and honest. I've found they have lower prices and faster service than other tire/oil change shops in Topeka. They also have the experience to explain to customers how certain tires will drive/sound and can help point you to a quality tire that will fit your budget. Highly recommend using them for your next auto service needs!!

Ray, Stuart, and the guys at Gills at 3rd and Kansas Ave are the best. I bought a 2018 truck with 120k miles on it. Immediately started having issues with it, and they were super patient, helpful, and wanted to show me and teach me what was wrong and provide options instead of just fixing it and slapping an invoice on the counter. One of the fixes didn’t take, and they did more research until they figured it out, staying patient and positive through the entire process. They knew these issues were not communicated to me during the sale of the vehicle, and were empathetic and extremely helpful. There is just a huge difference between these guys and the other guys, and you’ll see it immediately the first time you use them. They care about the client’s experience instead of going through the motions to collect sales. I’m in hospitality, and these guys get it. This is the place to go, and the only place I’ll take my vehicles going forward.

Just had a great customer experience at the downtown location of Gills Point S Tire & Auto. The tire sensor light was on and had been on since we had a tire replaced at another shop here in town. Stuart, the manager at this shop quoted me a fair price and I checked around and didn’t find any lower price. I took the van in and they found that the sensor was in several pieces inside the new tire. When I explained that it was another one of Gills shops that put the new tire on, Stuart put on a new sensor for free. Stuart was very pleasant and professional. Thanks for the great service.

People here are fabulous. We had come in on the recommendation of a friend. We were having trouble with our power steering hose. The dealership had changed their price of fixing it from $800+ to over $1600. We brought it here and they were able to fix it in a day for under the original price the dealership had quoted us. Ray, Stuart and Andy our a God sent to me. For over Twenty years I've followed Ray from one location to another. Andy is a blessing when it comes to spotting a problem and fixing it. Depending on what needs done they are most accommodating. They've worked on our 4 Vans for years. I went there when they were Peerless and they still have the same professionals. Andy and Ray (mgr) being Master Mechanics and Tommy their tire guy and Stuart assistant manager and mechanic. I'm glad with Gills leadership they didn't change personnel as some places do. I thought if more than one person is replaced l will have to go elsewhere. They don't try and Sell me something l don't need but if something needs attention they bring it to my attention and some things l see. I don't work on My own Vans anymore due to health reasons and l need someone l can trust.
