I'm from Virginia, and I was in town for a basketball tournament. My tire went flat late on a Saturday evening. None of the other establishments opened on Sunday morning except Pep Boys. I used the website, ordered my tire, and Sunday morning, they took my car in early, installed my tire, and I was back on the road in less than an hour. Thanks to Mr. Hopkins and his crew!!!

2 months ago I bought 4 new tires at the store pep boys of rock hill sc .Austin s attended us he gave us information that the tires had warranty now I went to Georgia and the tire popped i found the closest pep boys and they told me that the tires warranty was declined when I bought it I asked Austin if the tire popped they would fix it or replace it and Austin said that it has a warranty so I could go to a different pep boys now they are not responsible telling me that the tires don't have warranty after the tires were new .What a bad service they said in case of a emergency they can't do anything I don't recommend you to buy tires here it has expensive prices and they tell you that you can only get 1 warranty and they don't give you the warranty bad service I had to pay so much money to repair it i don't recommend you to buy nothing here

Took an hour and a half for an oil change .I was the only person waiting. Needed to ask my service advisor if all my fluids were checked. He said they didn't. Waited another half an hour for them to do it.Will be going somewhere else.

Got my dead car towed here. Considered buying a battery from autozone next door, but decided to take it in, in case it was a bigger problem, at Autozone's advice. Ended up just being a dead battery, so dead it wouldn't jump! Pepboys were straight forward and helpful, and the total (testing, battery, installation) somehow ended up being cheaper than just buying the battery at Autozone in the first place! While in the waiting room, multiple people came in and were all helped quickly and kindly. Definitely recommend.

I went to this pep boys because my van was blowing cold air. Took it in, told them the problem and that I thought I might need a thermostat. They called me, told me it was fixed and I was good to go. Arrived, paid my invoice, received my receipt and key and walked out. Sat in my van for 10/15 min in the parking lot outside pep boys, no hot air blowing, still ice cold!! Walk right back In, tell Mark it's still blowing cold air, he says the guys will bring it back around and check it out. A hour later of me waiting, they tell me my van is spitting antifreeze everywhere and that I'm going to need a water pump AND the thermostat!! Then tried to tell me it happened because of the radiator cap THAT THEY REPLACED and it wasn't their fault!! Refunded me my money, and basically sent me out the door!! Took it to Firestone, $1800 in damage, blew out my whole coolant system!!! Month later and I still haven't received a call or anything from pep boys!! I've spoke with and emailed customer service, I was told to email receipt of repairs, which I did, and that someone from leadership would be in contact...month later and nothing!! @pep boys, I've tried to be patient, it's been a month!! This is my FIRST step to show you im not going to just roll over and accept this!!

Highly do not recommend. Had an appt to have 2 tires put on. Its been an hr and 45 mins now, and they are just now starting my car after I asked about it and they realized my car is still sitting outside. The tech they told to go start it meanwhile this whole time ive been sitting here has been doing nothing but bs-ing around while he waits on a part. Meanwhile my car could have been completed. Absolutely ridiculous. Update- 2 and half hours after my appt, my two tires were put on. Only to walk out to my car to see they were put on the front, not rear. I think it's commonly known that when replacing just two tires, the newer ones go to the rear, is it not? So, here I am 3 hours now waiting while the rotate them.

Pleasant service overall and cost was what was quoted/expected, but the main problem is that I was informed two separate times that 2 tires would take 45min to 1 hr wait time. My car wasn't taken back until 45 minutes had passed. Total wait time was nearly 2 and a half hrs.. quoting an accurate time is better than a lower wait time and having to wait an additional hour+.. there also seemed to be misunderstandings/confusion between suggestions/offers and customer approved work, but it was caught in time before additional unapproved work was done to my vehicle. Overall I'm happy with my tires and received friendly service but otherwise unsure.

I was traveling on a business trip and noticed a low tire pressure light! I called the Rock Hill SC location to see if they could look at it for me.. When I got there they were so busy, they quoted 1.5 hour wait time which was fine! I totally understood they were busy, I felt safe, and knew I was in good hands! They checked all my tires and I had a nail in two of my tires. After about an hour they had me back on the road! The shop customer service tech and shop tech were such a pleasure to work with! Thank you for everything you done for me, including making me and my trip a safe one!

I had such a great experience at Pep Boys today. I called mid-morning because my oil light kept coming on and off, and the guys at the front desk were super helpful and told me to bring it in since it was likely low on oil. I came back in the evening after work, and Austin, one of the mechanics, was AMAZING. He checked everything for me, confirmed it was low, helped me fill it with oil I already had in my trunk, and got me back on the road quickly. I seriously can’t praise these guys enough for their kindness, honesty, and generosity. They made a stressful situation so easy. Highly recommend this location—Pep Boys Rock Hill rocks! 👏🚗✨

Mark was extremely helpful when I called on the phone with a bunch of questions. He provided all of the answers and didn't rush me off the phone, treating me like a customer that had an opportunity for them to make a sale and help me out too (since I needed a set of four tires). He wasn't trying to upsell me on other more expensive tires or services. Not only that but they made room to fit us in the same day. Once there, they had a nice waiting room with coffee, charging stations and comfortable seats. A technician was assigned to our vehicle and the change was underway in no time. They also took the time to hook our vehicle up to their tire diagnostic machine at no charge and determined that our tires were out of alignment. I wasn't sure about paying for the alignment, but they took the time to show me the actual software in action and cautioned me that not getting it would mean faster wear and tear on the new tires. Very helpful, respectful, patient operation. Highly recommended.
