Donnel and his shop went above and beyond helping me get back on the road after breaking down while in town. They were upfront and honest through the whole process and I'm grateful for their service.

I had a wheel bearing go out during a trip. This crew stayed late into the evening to get me back on the road same day!

Donnell and his sons Darius and Darnell were a Godsend. They were kind and knowledgable and they found a way to to squeeze us in and get us get back on the road even though they had plans to go on a family trip later that afternoon. I'm so grateful we found them and can't thank them enough. They saved our roadtrip and made a very stressful situation easier than I could have imagined. Wonderful mechanics. Best I've ever encountered. Can't recommend them enough.

Heading back home to Indiana, I noticed my windshield wiper fluid wasn't pumping out and that's bad when dirty snow is hitting your windshield. New area for me, God placed them 500 feet from where I was waiting on a stoplight. Yeah. The owner and his family are gifted in auto mechanics and in the Word. Highly recommend.

Easily the best auto repair shop I’ve gone to in the area! I went to the Superior location for electrical issues & they were able to get me in the same day, but the best part? They were kind enough to stay open late for me to drop my car off after work & then even dropped my vehicle off back at my house because I wouldn’t be able to leave work in time to get there! I will absolutely be using them again & could not recommend them more!!

Perfect Timing Auto’s name is supremely fitting - we came through town on fall break when our alternator tragically failed, but Donnell and his shop graciously helped us out despite their shop being closed on a Saturday. They went extremely far out of their way to help us on the same day and were very hospitable and kind. The area of Greater Duluth is lucky to have a man like Donnell!

The last time I went here was over 8 years ago and I had a weird experience. But since they have switched owners, I had to go in there for a new part to be ordered and put on at first they asked me if I had a time limit I just told them within the next two days would be nice and from the looks of it they were pretty busy but they got the part put on there and within 2 days. I’ll definitely be going back there whether it be for oil changes or anything I need repaired. And I would recommend anyone else does too. I always try to support new businesses and it’s pretty handy too that I don’t live that far from the shop. Thanks

Refuses to own up to mistakes made by their mechanics. They did not fully connect my 2nd brand new starter they installed and I was out a car. Highly unimpressed and do not recommend taking your vehicle to either one of these shops.

I’m highly disappointed with the service provided at this business. I was told they had an opening in Duluth, my truck was then towed to their Superior shop. I heard nothing for one week (I was told I’d receive an estimate in a few days). I began calling the second week and finally had my call returned the end of the second week with an estimate and promise to have it done by the beginning of the following week. Again, I didn’t receive any updates. I did not get my truck back until into the third week, and only after I said I was coming to get my truck or have it towed. I understand being busy, and not having enough workers, but to have my truck for over 3 weeks, with minimal communication, expectations of time not met, and unreturned calls is highly unprofessional and quite simply bad business. I will not bring a vehicle there again, and warn others that if they go there, expect to have no idea when you will get your vehicle back.

Make no mistake at all, this is by far, the absolute worst auto repair experience I've ever had. They must erase any negative reviews or find a way to leave them out. An original quote $300. for wheel bearing replacement, to take 2 hours; 6 hours later, they ordered wrong part, tried to blame it on my old truck, hub broke off. California truck, no rust, know it well. Ask The receptionist, (a real angry piece of work) if theytold me "not possible on holidays) I almost want write a laughing emoji except her disrespect, (I was hung up on at least 1/2ed for part to be overnighter in shipping dozen times, verbally abused, caused me to stay in a motel 5 nights at approx $100. a night, on my only credit card. Shared with her I'm 68 yrs old, live on SSI with a terminal illness - believe me, etreived belongings from my truck and for documentation it phased her none. Twice I called the police to standby while I retrieved belongings & to document her utter rudeness. This receptionist is sadly quite like the owner. When problems began, he appeared briefly to try & accuse me of another employee, whom they fired, made the original estimate - he made it & he knew it. Sparing all the horrid words of abuse while I sat in a motel, not knowing anything at all about the progress of my vehicle. After 5 days of motel bills for a part they could've overnighter, this now sits in the hands of a legal person in Superior, WI. PLEASE, do not patronize this shop. I have been around cars all my life starting, can't fix em but know them well. DO NOT go here if you want honest service. The previous review was written in poor structur because Google would not allow me to go back & correct.

The repair mistakes on my Mini Cooper were horrible at another shop. My vehicle is now running like a champ, since being serviced by Perfect Timing. The staff is amazing! I have peace of mind now, and will always return there for service, on both my Mini's.

I will never take my car to a different place around here. Makes me actually feel like I can undoubtedly trust my car being here. The owner, every person there, actually cares about people not just money. Honestly, breath of fresh air not to be taking for all I have by a mechanic and talked down to like most I've experienced, being female. Most importantly they help take time to see your best options.

I want to give this place a better review because the owner attempted to go the distance for us, but the mechanic there is aweful. My kid had a control arm and axle shaft replaced there, and when she got home, he didn't secure the control arm and it came of, knocking the axle out while she was driving. The owner had it towed back and covered the rework. However, she had also had work in the rear done, and a few weeks later her hear wheel came off while driving. The owner said it was due to rust, however the inspections at 2 dealership shops with certified techs, the spindle nut holding the hub had been severely over torqued and sheared the spindle, no penetrating rust was there… During this time I had my own truck inspected there and got a list of things they wanted to fix, I was going to go back and have these done as I could afford to, however, after my kids wheel came off, I had my truck reinspected elsewhere... More than half the things they quoted me, were not in need of replace…

I'll tell you what, these guys are world class. Came up from Dallas, Texas for a trip around Duluth/Finland MN when my 05 Tahoe started losing a lot of oil and coolant. Towards the last 300 miles or so. Took it in to have it looked at by these gentlemen to see if she'd get us through our camping we wanted to do up in Finland and then back down to TX. They listened to my story, asked all the right questions, diligently test drove, inspected, and identified my issue as most likely a small leak somewhere in the head that was just starting and they assured me as long as I keep an eye on her, replace oil and coolant as often as needed, she should get me through and back to Texas with no permanent damage. I did just that, enjoyed my trip with my wife and father, visited some family in Northern WI, made it back down to Texas with no break downs. Sure, I had to add about a half quart of oil and a quarter quart of coolant every gas station stop (300ish) miles but my engine suffered zero catastrophic damage. I was able to get both heads replaced and a whole upper gasket kit done by my trusted mechanic in TX after my trip. She loses zero oil/coolant after 2 oil changes and runs like a clock now. Problem was officially found. It was a tiny pinhole crack in one of the heads. Thank you so much for being totally honest with me and not just jumping at the opportunity to snag a job just for the profit. I know that's just what any mechanic should do but unfortunately in my experience it's such a rarity to find honest ones who wouldn't lie to a little old lady just for an extra 100 bucks these days. I hope this review gets yall 10x the business you would've gotten if you would've told me I couldn't drive on it until it was fixed when I stopped in. I'll remember that trip with my family for the rest of my life and I won't forget the world class mechanics up in Superior at Perfect Timing who kept me on the road!!!!!!!!!
