They where 40 minutes late, after that they took the long way to destination probably to get more miles out of the route. At the end I was informed that they charge 6 dollars per mile if they get in the interstate and 4 dollars per mile in city needles to say they had both option and chose the most expensive one and informed me at the end about it!! I was told I was going to pay 40 dollars and I ended up paying 80 !!! Not good customer care what so ever!!! I would not suggest anybody to do business with this establishment !!!

Imagine yourself in heavy traffic after work on your 60 minute commute home when all of a sudden the flat bed in front of you carrying an SUV decides to hold up the turn lane you're in when the light is green because he didn't plan in advance to get in the proper lane! I'm sure you can imagine how frustrated I was looking at an empty lane ahead of the culprit and a light about to change to red so I gave a honk and wouldn't you know, an arm and middle finger came flying out of the window! The best part is when he finally got over and I pulled up beside him, he played tough guy, flipping me off and trying to provoke a fight! Is this the kind of behavior you promote, Pete? Imagine this guy driving your car on his flatbed!

Service was not as what you would expect at rush hour McDonald's I've had better service the owner seemed to have no concern about my vehicle other than money the office lady was very rude to us as well just did not seem like a family-owned atmosphere that what I was comfortable with. The whole experience was very non-professional the shop just was filthy inside and not taken care of. For me to leave my vehicle there I just was not comfortable and would probably never go back there. They're very lucky I did give them one star for their efforts of ignorance

Today my driver went way out of his way to help us. I have used this company before and have always been happy with their service. Also if you don't have AAA they are the least expensive I have found in the Clearwater/Palm Harbor area.

I have known the owner of Pete's Towing for over 20 years. I believe he is an honest business man who is often the target of people who are looking for a free ride or a free fix or a free lunch. He has been accused of some things that just are not true. If he, or an employee, is found to be negligent he steps up to the plate to make things whole for the customer. He has had drivers that were given employment opportunities and were let go if found to be less than honest and respectful to his customers. He will listen and try his best to rectify any situation that arises, as they do continuously in the business world. I recommend this company.

I called to get my car towed and Joi had arrived within 15 minutes! My car was in a tough to reach spot, he cautiously moved my car and got it lifted. He worked extremely hard, carful and fast to get my car where it needed to be. Having an immobile car is stressful and he took one less thing off my mind. If I ever need a tow I will only call Petes and request Joi!

HORRIBLE! Their driver BROKE my car and begged me not to report it to AAA. Like an idiot I listened because he promised to replace my overheating thermostat to repay me. They kept car for TWO ADDITIONAL DAYS because he was "waiting on a thermostat". Chris told my husband car would be back Thursday night and 9pm Thursday I call to see where my car is. Chris says he told my husband that it MIGHT be back tonight, and did not even call to tell us at a decent hour it will not be. We finally get car back the next day. Fast fwd 2wks..car overheats on way to work. Remove thermostat AND THEY NEVER REPLACED IT!!! So not only am I out TWO DAYS PAY but I am out money having a REAL mechanic fix it!! I am going to every single media outlet to blast them in addition to filing a claim with BBB!!

It's the worst feeling when your car breaks down, you dread calling a tow truck because you know you sit stranded for hours waiting because you're at their mercy...NOT with Pete's towing! After I hung up with AAA a nice young man called and introduced himself as "Jimmy" from Pete's Towing and he was calling to let me know he would be at my location in 15 minutes. (Wait, What? I KNOW, Right? Totally unheard of these days) To my surprise a nice clean and very large flat bed arrived with in the time given over the phone (Yes! ON TIME!) Another surprise the driver "Jimmy" was very clean cut and wearing a nice vibrant uniform that clearly had the company name as well as his name displayed (UNHEARD OF THESE DAYS) he was very polite and even offered me a bottle of cold water...now that's what I call service!!! For once I wasn't at the mercy of a towing company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! If AAA send this tow company to you, tell them to leave and call for a different one. As they backed my car out of my parking space, the driver did it with the door open and completely BROKE my door on a pole by bending it all the way back! It wouldn't even shut and the driver said, "don't worry I'll take care of it." He didn't call AAA to report it, he called his boss and they both devised a plan to get away with it. I met them at my house which was 2 hours away. I got there an HOUR before them, which was weird because we left at the same time for the same place. His boss covered his ass and LIED to AAA saying the door was broke before he towed it, and his proof was he video recorded and took pics of the door to "prove it was like that before he got there" lmao... feeling guilty huh? I owed 20 dollars on the tow and the kid paid for it out of his own pocket. Why would he do that if my door was already broken?? Also, if the distance was 86 miles, how do I owe if I'm covered on a 100 mile tow? They drove around in circles and tried to CHARGE me/AAA extra!! Dirtbag workers employed by a dirtbag con artist. Don't give these crooks money. Oh yeah, when I first got there the idiot driver said he almost pulled a different car thinking it was mine, so good thing I showed up. LOL

Tow boss Ray is a drug addict, they'll screw you over, steal your paycheck etc. I will admit, $276 dollars fell out of my pocket on a call after driving for 9 straight hours to drive a car to Miami, offered to pay out of my paychecks over a few weeks, told me no, stole my whole paycheck. Thank you Pete's towing for being such inconsiderate jerks. They are shady, lying derelicts who'll screw there own mother out of paychecks. Not to mention they used to try and get me to drive the longest way possible tobrqck on mileage, now I've been doing this for years and honesty is always key, so I'd do the regular mileage tow. They lie about the shop location so they add on extra mileage that AAA pays for as well. Be careful of these con artists

After a hectic weekend of moving my car shuts off on me in the middle of the street. It wouldn't start back up and I was stuck an hour from home. I call my AAA and they send Kevin out to assist me. Me like a dummy left the car and took the keys (I had to get home to the kids and was told I didn't have to stay with the car but like an idiot took the car key). Kevin called me to let me know he was getting close and asked if the keys were in the car. When I realized that I had them on me I was so stressed he could hear the frustration in my voice. He made a quick call and called me right back to let me know to go ahead and go home to my kids and call them back once I was able to get the keys to my car. The next morning I call when I'm at the car and they send Jesse out right away! He got there in less than half an hour and was so friendly and professional. He took great care of my car and got it home for me. Jesse and Kevin both really took a huge weight off my shoulders by making this whole ordeal so effortless for me. I cannot thank them and petes towing enough for all their help!

I was in a car accident and needed a lot of repairs on my 19’ Malibu. From beginning to end they were hands down amazing. Kept in contact with me on the progress of my vehicle, got it done in a timely manner and my car came out great. Looks just like new. Highly recommend.

I cannot thank the folks at Pete's Collision enough! I ripped the front bumper off of my Dodge Challenger in the first 24 hours of owning it ( I was sooo very upset). Pete's had repaired my husband's truck the previous year so I gave them a call. I was so upset when I called in and talked to Kelly at Pete's, and she was so kind and quick to get me in and checked out. They rushed to get my parts in, and Keith even stayed late to get me all fixed up. This crew is wonderful, and I felt like I was truly cared about as a customer. These are great people, and my car looks like new. I will continue to call Pete's when I need any work done on my vehicles!

From the tow truck driver to Kelly, the front office manager, to the owner - there’s no better place to have your car fixed. Kelly went the extra mile to help us from the moment we arrived and the owner gave us the fairest of prices and tried to cut down costs with parts we already had. They returned my car quicker than I expected, clean, perfectly fixed! She looks great! They’re honest and friendly. I highly recommend Pete’s!

My truck broke down close to 11pm and I called AAA. Needing my truck to be towed back to the dealership near 2 hours away, saw this as the best option. Petes towing came out and took the extra time and took all safety precaustions to tow a dulley this far. The driver was young but very knowledgeable about what he was doing and was very nice. He asked i would like him to call me when the truck got delivered and that was great. I stayed awake while waiting for a call and he stuck to his promise. AAA is a great service to have and if I did not I would call Petes directly. Thank you much for your awsome service!! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Our 1999 old truck was in great shap and condition, when someone hit it. Because of the age they thought it would be totaled by the insurance, but Pete fixed her up like new. She looks great! I think he helped get the truck fixed instead of totaled by adjuster. Thanks!
