The layout isn't terrible, but compared to blue and golds, the selection is fairly lackluster. Blue and gold's also has a cheaper entry fee. And their parts costs are cheaper as well. LKQ seems to be charging quite a bit more than his reasonable. I was attempting to get a radiator, LKQ charges 105. Ordering one online, brand new, OEM, with shipping costs me 90. I would say that if you need a part immediately, it could be a good choice. But if you are willing to wait two or three days for a part to ship to you, it's going to be cheaper, you aren't going to have to pull it yourself, and it's going to be new.

Gave the lady my 3$ to get in, signed in, she then asked me for the 3$ again claiming I never paid her, she was adamant about checking the drawer to make sure she had the money she just got done putting in the drawer but didn't remember doing. The yard itself was pretty well organized but didn't have what I needed. Way she goes. Definitely will NOT be my first choice for used auto parts

LKQ has jacked the prices up on everything in there catalog. most parts are vehicle specific now and will increase in price depending on the vehicle value. they buy these junk cars for under $200 and then act like the parts are worth the same as gold. make the drive to Blue and Gold for a better junkyard experience.

For a guy who doesn't do car stuff very often, LKQ gave me the experience I hoped for. They were quick and to the point. I paid an admission fee, found my car in 2 minutes, got to work, got my part, brought it to the counter, paid a price you can't be anywhere, and I was on my way. Their staff is efficient and very friendly. I will be going back soon to get some more stuff. Looking forward to it!

Not there fault if they don't have it. Its a pick your part yard. They don't get your part or allow rolling carts. They do however provide hoists and wheelbarrow s once your in..they are not there to be technicians but they do have a knowledgeable staff. Every part is backed and last I was there even electrical parts were exchangeable.. I don't go often but I will be there tomorrow for coil springs.. I know what I need to remove what I want and I will be done quickly because the yard is organized and maintained.. Not exactly a man Disney world but I am going to get my dad and walk the yard when I go.. The inventory turns over and vintage cars are almost non existent but anything common in the last twenty years is almost guaranteed. I'm not a review type guy but I've had a great experience ever time I've been there.. Honest, no nonsense, courteous, and respectful staff.. I'd give them five stars but nobody's perfect..

My experience here hasn’t always been the best but I always leave with what I came for. That said, this most recent visit was about as smooth as possible. Like always, a simple $3 to look around. The lady at the front checked us in and searched for the car we needed without me having to prompt anything. I’d already had it up from the webpage but she wanted to make sure it was still in the same spot. I got what I needed and went to check out which is sometimes a bit stressful. The gentlemen at the desk were all smiles with manners to go around. A fair price for a plastic part that I just wanted for aesthetic purposes. I had the price list from the website ready to go but it wasn’t necessary. The same service as before but with great execution. I can’t speak for the other services but as someone who read the reviews before going the first time, I figure it’s only right to highlight the good just as much.

Always had a good experience coming here. Very convenient having their inventory online so I can see if a vehicle close to mine is on the lot or not (which some other yards in the area don't do). Is it a bit pricey? Yeah, it is... but still cheaper than ordering the same parts online. Staff has always been excellent as well.

I shouldn't have been surprised that it's a glorified junkyard and would reflect as such in pricing. But when I got the receipt & saw all the fees and warranty info, plus the original price for a used part that I had to remove after paying an admission fee to gain access in the first place... I would rather purchase the item new next time. The price would reflect the amount of effort and time along with what the "used" price was anyway.

The Hispanic girl working at the counter is EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! When people walk in she expects you to speak to her, she does NOT offer any customer service at all, and the manager is no better!!! He is just as rude! I told them about my experience with their worker and they brushed me off like that’s how customers are supposed to be treated!! DO NOT take your business there!!!! The manager actually condones the behavior of his rude worker!! I’m not sure if it’s my skin color that I was treated so poorly, but my mind is telling me differently!! Please DO NOT take your business there!! Respect is due even to a dog!!!!

UPDATE: I reached out to the link provided in the company’s response and have not received any response as of this evening 3/12. All I would like is my money returned as I did not receive the parts I paid for. —————————————————————— I recently went in and purchased 2 new windows that Dewayne handled for me. I paid $235 to have them taken off and provided to me. After I got into a total loss car accident from being blindsided, I reached out to get a refund because the windows were never given to me or installed. He was nicely holding them for me until I was able to come in for install. Dewayne first told me he would refund me and was sorry to hear what happened. I had to follow up myself multiple times regarding the refund. When he finally responded, he said he would only refund me $110 for the windows and the rest was separate. He had quoted me $235 for getting the windows to me. After several back and forth messages, I compromised and said I was willing to take $175 to move on. He refused to compromise, and then blocked me from further contact. He as a professional also told me that I’m not a good person, even though I was simply asking for my money to be returned since I no longer needed them after getting in a car accident. Now, I am out every dollar and never got the windows I purchased. All I want is my refund. It’s very disappointing to see the lack of professionalism, but I would just like to move on and feel it’s the right thing for the company to refund me for windows I never received. Dewayne has my number and the company can reach me that way.

They sneak a 30% up charge on everything and call it a 90 day guarantee, without asking you. I can see needing it for maybe electrical parts etc but not say window glass or a piece of metal bracket. I never noticed this until yesterday. So instead of asking if you want the 90 guarantee, they act like it's part of the pricing and automatically add it. That said the staff is always friendly here, and great to talk to! Next they(LKQ is a nationwide company) charge an environmental fee which is supposed to "ensure we provide you with a safe clean working environment" never mind the yard is covered in jagged parts and surrounded by an electric fence. Or the fact it says if you purchase the 90 Guarantee... You know the one they automatically add without asking, the fee is refundable... So why charge it in the first place. Make sure you specify when you get stuff that you don't want the guarantee if you don't actually want it, it's a easy way for LKQ to make a 30% profit increase for nothing on things like a radio bezel adapter which makes it more expensive than new.

Came in to get a tire and rim and needed help with the removal because my hips are bad. Was told the person that did the customer help was off, even when 2 people are in the office working the front desk and 5 other employees were standing around chatting with each other. The desk people didn't even ask if anyone is welling to help me, they acted like they didn't even care about the handicapped.

I visited this place for the first time yesterday looking for parts for my 83 ford f150 the staff was nice at first went in, it was clean in the front part but a mess in the farther rows. The worst part is I found some parts (which I will say are harder to find nowadays) but the price for some of it was ridiculous, they were going to charge me $18 for a pane of glass for the side mirror and $8 each for the plastic pieces for the sides of the bench seat which is absurd. Not only that but they didn't even give the opinion if I wanted it they just added it on, that alone is scummy u should ask if people would like the warranty not just assume. WORST JUNKYARD EVER, will not ever be returning.

BEWARE OF THEIR SCAM BEFORE SPENDING YOUR VALUABLE TIME AND $$$$. They won’t pick up the phone but instead all the recorded messages send you to their website to see what parts they have on hand. On their website you search by the make model and part name. It comes up that they have the part (in my case a rear bumper and step bars). So I rush down on my first day off and walk in. The lady pulls up the vehicle in their system, gives me a quote for the part I want. Satisfied with the cost I paid my entry fee ( mandatory to walk out on the yard). I go and load up all my tools and make my way out to the vehicle that I was interested in and it was stripped already of all the parts I was interested in. So the scam is, they lead you to believe they have the part with their “fancy” website with lookups for parts, then charge you an mandatory entry fee to find out they don’t have what they claimed to have. Why can’t businesses just be honest with people these days?

Instead of dirt they laid lava rock across the entire yard. So you might want to look for some floor mats or rear cargo carpet to lay on. If you ask for a vehicle your list print out might be out of date. I had five Cherokees on my list and four of them weren't even in the lot.

Overall, it’s not a bad junkyard, but they don’t accept returns unless you purchased an additional warranty. Even if you come back the next day and realize the part doesn’t fit your vehicle or turns out to be defective.

I've bought parts here multiple times and have had a good experience each time. They offer a 90-day warranty with most parts. You can see the price of the parts on the website before you get there. Some prices are higher than new prices and some are great deals. I've bought something and walked out to the parking lot and realized it was broken. Walked back in and got a refund. Most things I buy the warranty with. I had another experience where I bought a master window switch. It worked for about a week and then stopped. I took it back and got a refund for the price. Just note when you look through the website look at the date the vehicle came in. If it's only been a week you have a good chance of the part you needing being there. If it's been 3 or 4 weeks then the vehicle has probably been stripped.
