I can’t say enough good things about this shop! I called at 5:58 PM with a nail in my tire, just two minutes before closing, and instead of turning me away, they told me to bring it right in. As someone who works a standard 8–5 job, it’s not easy to get car issues handled during business hours, so I really appreciated their willingness to help so late in the day. That kind of customer service is rare these days. The owner himself was right there working alongside the team and even came by to say hi, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. (He’s Greek, and it shows in the warm, family-style way the shop is run!) Fast, professional, and genuinely accommodating, this shop went above and beyond. Highly recommended!

Not great at respecting appointments and honoring the amount of time they say it would take. Made an appointment in advance on a day and time they told me would take an hour. In addition, at drop off, I got confirmation it would take an hour. But 2.5 hours later, I never got a call and I thought I gave them enough time because I understand if they were busy but I needed my car at this point. So I went in and it still was not ready so I had to wait another 15 mins until it was ready. On top of that, I made another appointment a week in advance with a specific employee and when I went in, that employee was not in so I wasted my time getting to the store. Their schedule/appointment system needs to be updated in order to have better estimates for certain tasks. I understand if things get busy but don't make promises you cannot keep.

I had one of the worst experiences at Pleasant Car Care. What should have been a simple $40 tire patch turned into a pushy upsell for unnecessary repairs. I declined many, but still ended up with a much bigger bill. Their tactics felt aggressive and manipulative, clearly prioritizing profit over customer trust. I dropped off my car on Sunday and was told everything would be ready on Monday. Instead, I didn’t get my vehicle back until late (5pm) Tuesday. The lack of respect for my time was frustrating. To make matters worse, I can’t help but question the authenticity of their glowing online reviews. With over 600 reviews — many with staged-looking photos — it’s hard to believe they reflect genuine customer experiences. It feels like the extra money they squeeze out of unsuspecting customers is funneled into marketing, not quality service. Bottom line: If you value honesty, fair pricing, timely service, and reliability, look elsewhere.

Wife’s car broke down on Christmas Day. They prioritized our car and got us back on the road as soon as possible. Extremely convenient that they’re open 7 days a week. They proved to me in one visit that they only do things the right way and that they are extremely reliable. If I lived in the area I would hoot and holler to my friends and family that this is the only place to bring your vehicle.

Brought my car for a service and was told I needed to replace my oil pan due to rust. I was told it was in bad shape and close to rusting through. Politely declined the replacement and had my family mechanic replace the pan with an oem part. Upon changing, the inside of the pan was perfectly fine and like new - it did not need to be replaced. If you are in a pinch, they'll do the work quickly in my experience but it is often more expensive and they will place a lot of pressure on you to take their recommendation. Have also had similar experience with my wife's car - the staff is very friendly but I would suggest getting a second opinion unless you don't care about spending more money than necessary on your repairs

I should have gotten a couple of estimates I feel I was charged an extreme amount for labor and parts $3,975 for power steering issue. Hands down the best auto service experience I have ever had, and consistently so. I fully trust them with my family's vehicles and safety. - They take care of you here and treat you like family. Honestly, even better than family. They truly take care of you car and understand how much reliable repair service matters. They are trustworthy and clearly are not pushing unnecessary repairs (unless of course you don't care about your car being in good shape). - They get things done on a fast schedule and have gone the extra mile for me multiple times. They get you complementary Lyft service and/or a loaner car when needed. - They clearly strive for operational excellence and first-rate customer service and somehow over-deliver on that. The garage floor is organized and clearly well run. They provide timely updates, videos of your car's parts requiring repair, and helpful explainer videos so you can be informed about the necessity of a repair. - This may not be the right place if you only care about minimal cost (and are fine with questionable quality). They are not as cost competitive as some small pop-and-son garages, but their service and quality is so much better that it is hard to compare those. Imagine the customer-first approach of a great local shop, but paired with quality that far exceeds anything else I have ever worked with. - The owner Charlie is very present and it shows. He takes every individual customer seriously and will ensure they are taken care of. His influence and energy drives the culture there. Also shoutout to Craig. He just has such a great positive attitude and will make things happen for you quickly when you really need it.

I want to share my honest experience so other customers can be more careful. I brought my 2019 Mercedes GLC300 to this shop for a cooling system issue. At that time, the check-engine light was showing P0128, which usually means the thermostat is not working properly. The shop kept my car for several days and told me the problem was something else, not the thermostat. They replaced other parts instead. I trusted their diagnosis. However, about one month later, my check-engine light came back with the exact same code (P0128). When I returned, the shop told me this was a “completely different issue,” even though the code was identical. They insisted on charging me for another repair. I am not a mechanic, so I can’t say with 100% certainty that they were wrong. But as a customer, it feels very concerning when: The same code returns after a month The original problem may not have been properly diagnosed The shop refuses to acknowledge the possibility of a misdiagnosis I am asked to pay again for what appears to be the same issue I paid a significant amount for the original repair, and now I’m facing the same fault code again. I expected more transparency and responsibility. This review is not to attack anyone, but to warn other customers to: Always ask for a detailed diagnostic report Get a second opinion for cooling system issues Be cautious about agreeing to expensive repairs without clear explanations I hope the shop improves their communication and diagnostic accuracy in the future.

I love to support local business whenever possible. I was a first time customer to Pleasant Car Care. I dropped off my car to have my heat shield repaired. I typically go to another local place but he couldn't fit me in until next week and my heat shield was extremely loud. The cost, I thought, was a bit high but fine. Then they did their complementary inspection and informed me that I had torn brushings on my control arms. They wanted $2,000 to fix it. I don't have $2,000 and my other mechanic is a friend of mine and I know in good faith he wouldn't let me drive an unsafe vehicle. So I declined and I will get it fixed soon. The sales rep made me feel pressured and was bullying me into getting these repairs done when I politely declined. I will never go to Pleasant Car Care again. I ended up so upset because I feel that so many women would go in and expect honesty, professionalism, and integrity and would come out taken advantage of.

From start to finish these guys took care of me and worked with me to get my car up and running with home heafty repairs in less than 48 hours mid week. I was amazed how helpful and knowledable and how friendly everone was. I had some grinding noises start from the front suspension and steering of my wife's 2016 Subaru Forester. I called them in the morning and they asked me to come in right away. They inspected the car and diagnosed the issues in less than an hour. My past experiences with Subaru service departments have been: 1) The service appointments were usually weeks out. 2) There was a charge for some of the diagnostic work, only waived if I asked them to get the recommended repairs done. With Pleasant Car Care, there were no such constraints. They diagnosed the issues on the same morning and showed me each one under the car (they even used a borescope camera to show me hard-to-see places) and without any strings attached. They made the rapairs on the same day at a reasonable price. The car was ready by 5pm. They even arranged rideshare to take me home and then bring me back to the shop. I highly recommend this service shop.
