★☆☆☆☆ In July of last 2024, I was taking a road trip for my nieces birthday, and my alternator blew out. I found this shop online, and the mechanic said that he could fix it, no problem. We left the car there and stayed overnight at a hotel. The next day, the manager called and gave me a time that it would be done, so we checked out and walked back over to the shop. When we got there, the car was not done, and we had to wait an additional 4 hours in the July sun for them to complete it. After waiting, we went to pay for it, and we were on our way. Everything seemed to be fine, but then, when we were on the road, the front windows stopped working. We thought maybe it was because it was an older car and we needed to change the motor in them. As time continued to go by, lights began flashing on and off in the dashboard. When we would press the gas to go, the car would do this jerking motion (like pulling back and forth), and the lights (low beam) would go high and low randomly. We had no idea what was going on but again thought ok maybe it's because it's an older car. Eventually, the car got worse and worse. We had another mechanic look at the car when we got home. That mechanic stated that whoever put the alternator in didn't connect all the wires, so it's working over hard and blew out( So we had been driving around with random wires just hanging out, they didn't even connect it!!!!). The only people that touch the alternator was the mechanics at this shop(POSSIBLE& SONS) also above the alternator was the radiator, the mechanic also explained to us that somebody had cracked the radiator and tried to fix with some type of home remedy so the radiator was leaking fluid everywhere!!! Again, the only people that touch this car were the mechanics from this shop(POSSIBLE &SONS). They pretty much blew out everything in our system and left us driving around with a cracked radiator without even saying anything to us about it! We called autozone and they said the alternator comes with a life time warranty on it so if we can get in touch with the shop and have them speak to us, they can begin the process of atleast getting us a new alternator instead of having to buy a new one. I called the shop and left multiple messages but nobody answered or returned my call (which is the least they could've done after putting it in the wrong way in the first place) We gave them almost 900 dollars for this job, just for it to burn everything out a couple of months later. After paying more money from a different shop and having the alternator put in correctly, the car runs perfectly. DONT TRUST this place!!! They'll tell you they know what they are doing and leave you riding around with random, ungrounded wires. They obviously didn't know what they were doing from the beginning, and that's why they kept adding on time to when it would be done. Also, when we got their receipt, they only put the total cost of the job, they didn't do a breakdown of the work that was completed at the shop or the price of the alternator or labor, just a total. I've never seen a shop do this and now I know why. They knew they didn't place it in right and didn't want it to be traced back to them. Horrible experience!!! * That makes no sense that you have not received my calls or my voicemail, but you know the date that I called ? And plus I used the number on your website and the number on the receipt so if this is not the correct number, why is it advertised on your website. Also, there is no exaggeration on price. We thought it was high as well but since we were on the road and tried to be thankful and hopeful that someone from your shop wouldn't scam us we tried to ride it out but we were wrong, (wont make that mistake again). The guy first told us it would be 250 in labor, and then it went up to 300 and then ended at 350. Then you guys also had 50 dollar processing fee for a card. The alternator cost about 460. No exaggeration.
