They are truthful and honest and never have I once felt as if I was paying for anything more than the work that was done. I refuse to take my cars anywhere else but with Frank. I have been going to Frank at Preferred for over ten years. He, his son and staff are the best! I come from a family of mechanics and I do not trust just anyone to work on my vehicles. From working on my work truck to my Jeep they have pretty much fixed everything that could go wrong. Brakes, alternators, engine repairs, tires & rims! You name it they can do it. Thank you all for helping me maintain our vehicles and keeping us safe on the road. You are considered family in my book and I will always refer my friends family and strangers to your shop. Thank Frank Joey Johnny Barbara and the boys! You guys are awesome and deserve a gold star review! Thank you again for everything over there years! We love you guys!! MD :)

My family and workplace has taken all of our cars here for maybe 15 or so years. Always a great service. They explain in detail what is needed and what is priority. Frank the owner is a good guy and his dog is so shy but sweet.

I don’t normally write reviews after an experience but this one was too bad not to share! Pretty horrible !! First, it started with an estimate, I agreed to that number, came back and was handed a price sheet nearly $100 more than i agreed to pay. (I only agreed because it was the number it was). They said they would fix the issue and took off $15… still absolutely overcharged me from the estimate by almost 70bucks. I was told my car would be ready by 2:30pm. 3pm came 3:30pm, 4 pm… nobody called me and I wasn’t trying to bother anyone if they were still working. … so just before 5 pm (closing time) I called to see what the deal was… it was ready and just sitting there and no one bothered to let me know… like I didn’t say I needed it asap and it was very important to me to get as soon as I could. Don’t recommend coming here unless you’re trying to get screwed! Wish there was a 0 star option

I have used Preferred Automotive three times and have been very pleased with its services. Specifically, the mechanics fixed an A/C leak, replaced my radiator, and changed my spark plugs. They are professional, honest, hard-working, and committed to getting the job done right at a great price. Further, the employees have a strong attention to detail and work efficiently without rushing. The shop has a great process to ensure your car receives the attention it deserves. At the same time, they are still able to complete complicated repairs the same day at a great price. Thank you Frank!

What a great team of employees that work in Preferred Automotive, Inc. I had my radiator fan system replaced in my 2007 Chevy HHR and saved $100+ in comparison to the quote that I received through Pep Boys. They had it done so quickly and professionally the same day. In fact, they were able to quote less (than Pep Boys) on all needed repairs that my vehicle is approaching in the near future. And Pep Boys even charged me $47 for the quote. A few days later I drove over to Preferred Automotive and asked them to add air to the 2 (low pressured) front tires. They are truly in need to be replaced but I need them to last a little bit longer. It was raining heavily, all their garages were full of mechanics working on customer vehicles. But they took care of me without losing their pace. What a Team! Thanks Preferred Automotive. See you as soon as possible.

Do not confuse nice an respectful for fair an honest. Had a heater hose installed. It was a 30 minute job. 3 quick connect a gallon of antifreeze. Parts store price was 59.00 for hose. 15.00 for antifreeze. There marked up price was over twice as much at 150.00 for hose. 40.00 for antifreeze.over 400.00. Installed. Installed a water pump. Parts store price 90.00 there marked up price 180.00. Luckily I had lifetime warranty with autozone. They marked up prize over 100 percent. When I questioned mark up he said all shops do it.the leaking water pump end up being oring on a by pass line.they had less then 100.00 in parts there cost. an my bill was over 900.00. That’s with me furnishing the water pump. Wow they knew I was out of town an took advantage of it. This is for future customers. Ask the price of the parts a head of time unless you want to pay over 100 percent mark up price. An get estimate in writing. He said hose job would be 1hr or less. Wow 400.00 for a 30 minute job 59.00 part 15.00 antifreeze. Wow water pump I supplied 400.00.

I took my Lincoln navigator in due to some fluid leak. They told me it was valve gasket seals and an oil leak that was wrong and a vacuum pump for brakes. They charge me $1930 I took my vehicle home and it was still leaking. Come to find out it was my turbo coolant pipe that was leaking and it did not fix my problem I find it hard to believe that you can’t figure out a coolant leak issue versus an oil leak issue very disappointed and will not be returning to them for business.
