I feel like they didn't try to find out the problem with my truck. I will not be going back.

They were nice, but after I asked someone else who uses them my estimate wasn't great.

The owner isnt a nice guy and he broke a few things and had to go back 3 different times to get the job finally done right, and I still had to get under my truck and finish the job myself.

They gave me an itemized quote up front, kept the amount unchanged, and had my car shifting smoothly again.

They repaired the transmission and transfer case for my Jeep. They kept me in the loop the entire time and finished when they said they were going to. Overall it was a great experience. I would highly recommend them

You guys were just awesome ,and honest to my daughter . She brought her car to you shop for transmission work . After the test you determine it was fine . You then drove her car to a local shop who was just as honest and respectful to my daughter . EXCELLENT WORK

Everytime I go there, they give me straight-up advice and never let me do something that isn't needed. I have referred several people to them and they have had the same experience. They are the most trustable mechanic shop I know of..... Put it this way, I referred my mom to them...

Spent $500 to have a slave cylinder fixed on my 1996 Ford ranger only to have them install it incorrectly, not replace my original bolts, and reuse the old throw out bearing. As a result it failed 1500 miles later and they refused to take any responsibility for it.

Really nice guys, I say this in the sense of their actions. Don't judge them by their demeanor as they are a bit rough around the edges (sometimes) but this matter nothing to me. The bottom line is that they care a lot about their clients and work hard and honestly for them. I thought I had a transmission problem and they checked it out for me FOR FREE. It turned out the problem was something else but still helped me rule it out...FOR FREE.

True story: wife's jeep making bad noises. Bring it to one garage and they tell me it's the center carriage bearing and the transfer case. $3500.00. Bring it to a second place that was recommended. They say same thing, but add that it also needs new motor mounts. They never call me back after 3 messages left. Hum? So another friend recommended Pro Transmission in Worcester. They verify that it's the center bearing and motor mounts. Quoted me $1400.00. What about the transfer case? Tell me there's nothing wrong with it. Picked it up and it the bill was only $900.00. They said the job didn't take as long as they thought and they verified that nothing was wrong with the transfer case. Saved $2500.00 dollars because of honesty. I highly recommend Pro Transmission and Clutch!!

Had my car towed here after a hydraulic line for my clutch let go. They claimed that there would be a free diagnosis, after which they would call me to discuss what needed to be done. During the diagnosis they found a clip that had rusted away, leading to one of the hydraulic lines letting go. They replaced the clip and charged me $130 in labor for the time they spent on the free diagnosis. I had to call them to figure out what was going on, which is when they told me they replaced the clip but couldn't get it started. They said that they were sick of trying to get it started, and that I'd have to get it towed somewhere else to get it fixed, but that I was still on the hook for the $130 to replace the $1 clip. I'm fine with paying for shop time to diagnose an issue, just don't call it a free diagnosis if it isn't. On top of all of that, they trashed the inside of the car while they were working on it. Mud everywhere, didn't even try to clean up after themselves. Got it towed down the street to another shop which got the car running again and even cleaned up most of the mud these guys left. The guys I dealt with on the phone were nice enough but didn't seem to care about helping figure out what was wrong, and a starter is a pretty easy thing to diagnose.

My Uncle had his van repaired there and it leaks transmission fluid after 13 months and they said they stand behind their work and they took the van and looked at it liked they were going to fix the leaking problem but they found no leak and blamed the oil pan leaking red fluid when was the last time you saw red oil (10w30). The only red fluid is transmission fluid and it’s low by one quart, engine oil is fine. So they DON’T stand by their work and the mechanic on duty was very rude and didn’t really care what we had to say and walked away from us as we were trying to explain what the vans transmission was doing. I will not ever go there and I will never refer anyone there. Remember when they say we stand but our work, THEY DONT. $2500.00 and it leaks???

There is two parts to this story. Part 1: I went to them for the first time to get my trans cooler lines replaced, for this job I have no complaints with their service. They did a good job, and that is why I went to them a second time. The reason for the 1 star review is for the second part of the story. Part 2: I went in to get my truck looked at for an axle seal. As mentioned I came back to this shop because they did a good job the first time. When I went to get my truck back it was in worse condition then when I left it originally. They broken one of my leaf springs along with my exhaust hanger. When I went back to the shop the next day in order to address the issues (the broken leaf spring and exhaust hanger) , I expected the crew to be professional as I was not yelling nor causing a scene,I merely wanted answers for the damage. However what I got was far from that. I go back and meet with the owner, Joe starts having an angry attitude and becomes instantly hostile. As I was showing him the damage he immediately states he did not break My truck, he repeats this statement multiple times like a child does when they are on a tantrum. similar to a child on a tantrum I couldn't even finish my statement without him interrupting me. Finally Joe tops the great service off by laying a nice little "f*** you and go screw", This further demonstrates the amazing professionalism he sets for not only himself, his staff and crew and his business. So before going to "un" -Pro "fessional" transmission I would consider other options, go to shops that genially care for their customers who pride themselves on their work and more importantly own up to their mistakes and try remedy those same mistakes the best they can and not swear off a returning customer.

Brought my truck here to have the wrench light diagnosed. It was an issue with a pump. I had it repaired and had an oil change while I was at it. The cost was $875 including both items. When I got home, I decided to check my Ford warranty and sure enough, it would have been covered due to the amount of miles on the truck. Ford is not reimbursing me $0.01. I would think the Transmission shop would have asked that question or said "maybe check your warranty". Nope. Also, the change oil light came on shortly after I picked up the truck (within weeks). I am now wondering if the oil was changed at all. What a waste of money. I will never go back to this business.

These fellas were great. I was worried our transmission would need a lot of work and brought the car here because of the free diagnosis. They called me with a diagnosis within an hour or so of dropping the car off. The problem ended up being pretty simple and the repair was cheaper than i expected. No hidden costs or fees and my car was ready to roll later the same day. I would use them again and recommend them to others.
