I was very disappointed with the service at this facility. I was told to bring my car in at 9am, which I did. At 11:30 I received a call asking what was the service I needed. At 3:30 I called , got a voicemail saying someone would call me back, no one did. After 4 I called again and was told they hadn't gotten to my car yet! Wasted my whole day without a car. Really unprofessional! I definitely do NOT recommend them. They will NEVER get my business again!

Todd is amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and well informed. I frequently feel like car shops try to pull a fast one on me, but not here. Todd let me go back and see my car and pointed out the parts that needed to be replaced. He took time to explain why, and offered a very reasonable price to fix it. I am so thankful!

This shop is great I had one of my service vans hubs break and had it towed to quality tune up after hours at 6 p.m yesterday. This morning I got there right at opening the crew was already working on it and had it ready by noon! The pricing was more than reasonable and the service was excellent. Quality Tune Up at 1700 Douglas Blvd is the only auto shop I will take my 2005 Chevy Tahoe to. I am so happy with all of the services that they have provided over the last almost four years now, that I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! The staff is not only professional, they actually care about their customers. Last year when I was in having work done, Todd actually took the time to let me know that my tires were in critically dangerous condition! He told me to get them looked at before even going home! My Dad and I ended up at the tire store in our area, just in time. I needed all new tires (pictures included). If not for Todd, my family and I might not be here today!! Really!! Their prices are competitive, work is amazing and done early or on time, the staff I have met have all been pleasant and helpful! You'll never need to go anywhere else for automotive work again!

Wow!!!! 3/15/2024 had my AC fixed, spent $1354.17 I could not believe how much it cost, but I wanted to build rapport with the owner because I needed to find myself a new mechanic in the area (my current one retired) that I could trust and knew that he would take care of me and my family. I have six children, and we have a total of nine cars. I actually knew the previous owner of this Quality Tuneup location. That's why I came here. When I left after having the service, I could not believe how much I just paid. Todd. (The owner) could see that I was not really pleased spending that much money. He actually said out loud to me "don't even worry about it Joe, if you ever have an issue with the AC, it'll be covered." The AC went out in March of this year 2025. I remember because it was my birthday. I haven't came back to him because again we have nine cars and I don't use this car that much. Well, my Suburban just broke down today and so I brought my Infiniti here to have him look at the AC because the AC's been out since March. He has the nerve to tell me I have to pay $199 for him to take a look at it. I reminded him three different times that he told me if I had issues with the AC it would be covered. I even came back into the office and tried one last time and he still said no he's going to charge me the 199. It's so crazy in life, at my age and with my patience, I'm not gonna sit here and badmouth this man. He needs to make a living and he needs to stay in business. However, I really believe you do not screw over a loyal customer that especially you have the potential to do a tremendous amount of work with. I'm posting this review more to just let him know he missed out on more than $7,000 - $10,000 of repairs throughout the year every year. However, even more valuable than that is when a person communicates with hundreds of people a month believe me word-of-mouth is very strong! Especially for someone like myself who enjoys talking. I'm not even mad, I just feel sad for that business owner. I will just say what an absolute joke, I will not ever come back to him! No reason to respond Todd it'll just be a waste of your time just like it was a waste of my time posting this. I will continue to take my other vehicles to Midas and Work with David and Nick or to Carl at Rocklin car wash and lube or to Kieran at Roseville Auto Care or Jared at Bertinis. Too many options, you would think a business owner would like to keep a customer.

3 visits and $900 paid to QUALITY TUNE-UP to fix an OIL LEAK and they never did! I came in first on 6/28 for an oil change with a coupon (which they did not honor), and to detect where an oil leak was. They could not find the leak, so a dye was put in the engine and they told me to come back next week for inspection to determine the source of the leak. When I returned on 7/5, after several hours, they called to say it was the rear transmission mount side axle shaft leaking. Recommended I replace the seal and mount. I asked if this would resolve the oil leak and they said yes, it would be good to go! $900 later, I drove home and within 2 hours it was leaking oil just as bad as before I brought it in! Update: Brought the car back in to QUALITY today, 7/16, now they tell me to fix the same oil leak they want another $779 to βremove and replace valve cover gasketβ! THIS WAS NEVER DISCLOSED IN THE INITIAL DIAGNOSIS and I would never have paid the first $900 if it would not have fixed the oil leak, which was the reason I brought the car in! Receptionist GINA is terribly unprofessional and even threatened me with βyouβre lucky I have my company shirt on todayβ when I repeatedly asked her to send the manager up front after she refused to give her name, gave me the wrong car keys, and wouldnβt give the name of the technicians. She is a huge liability to QUALITY! Now I will be suing QUALITY Tune-Up in small claims court. Do NOT use this auto shop. They are poorly staffed, give different stories from every different employee and then they lie about anything you do not have in writing!

She advised me that there was no wait at the moment I had told her I was about 15 minutes away as I pulled up she came outside to get my car information and they brought me right in. I ve been going to Quality automotive for a while now for oil changes and repairs, smogs Etc. TodayI went there and was very surprised by the response of the young lady behind the counter when I called them on not greasing my front end grease fitting. She stated that they dont do that anymore as the fitting are all sealed. Thats true if itβs a newer vehicle, but mine is a 2001 GMC sierra. It has possible 5 grease nipples that need grease. When I told I would be sure to put that in a review to warn other with older vehicles, that they may not be getting a complete service, she became very defensive and told me my one bad review didnβt mean anything and that she didnβt care if I went somewhere else. I wonder how the corporate office would feel it I informed them that one of there employees is running off customers?
