**Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place!** I had a really bad experience at this mechanic shop and I feel people should be warned. First of all, they charged me a ridiculous amount of money for something very minor. I came in asking for a full service, and not only did they not complete everything I asked for, but they also gave me no clear explanation about what they actually did. When I asked questions, they were rude and dismissive—not respectful or helpful at all. It honestly felt like they were just trying to take advantage of people who don’t speak English and steal money from me. There was no transparency, no proper communication, and definitely no quality service. I left feeling frustrated, ripped off, and mad. It’s truly sad that I put my trust into him fixing the car and I don’t have so much money and I use my last money for the car thinking it be worth it but finding out they didn’t fix one my main concern I feel horrible. If you care about your time, money, and sanity, I highly recommend going somewhere else.

The owners name is John he took care of my wife’s car with honestly. Did a tune up with no extra charges or anything like that. So we went back for tires on her car. Good price honest work and good dude. Highly recommend👍🏾👍🏾

I just took my car in to this place I recommend any body not to take it here person very unprofessional cocky and sarcastic his name is john. The guy was a straight up jerk.. he was trying to charge me prior to making contact with the warranty insurance knowingly that the insurance was going to cover the diagnostic but he was trying to make me pay out of Pocket before hand yeah guys Is crooked don't take your car there because he will try to scam you before hand...

Very expensive, charged me 195$ and did absolutely nothing! I already knew I needed brakes and rotors and when I paid cash, he didn't even have cash to give me $5 change 🤣 im like keep it! It's obvious you need it because you have no customers! 😂

I bought a vehicle that needed a second key fob. I bought the fob directly from Toyota and brought it to John at Ramirez for programming due to the fact that Toyota said I would have to wait 2-3 hours. It was going to cost $30 more with Ramirez, but I would save time so I thought it would be worth it. True to his word, it only took John an hour and 15 minutes (he was working on other vehicles at the time) to program the fob. The fob opened the doors, trunk, etc. so I didn't think much of it. I drove the car home using the original fob that was provided when I purchased the car. The next morning my wife went to drive the car using the new fob and it would start and run for thirty seconds and then shut off. I tried it several times and it wouldn't work. I tried my original fob and it worked fine. I called John and he said he didn't know what to tell me, it worked fine on the trunk, doors, and security light. He hadn't tried to start the car. I asked him if he could try to reprogram the fob and he said yes but he would have to charge me another $229.00 to do it. IHe said the only thing it could be is a defective key fob. That didn't seem very likely to me. I asked him for a refund, but he said no because I had signed one of his disclaimers saying if for some reason the programming didn't work, they aren't liable. I ended up taking the same fob he said was defective to Toyota of Visalia. They programmed it in 1 hour and twenty minutes for $30.00 less than Ramirez and it works perfectly! They said if they were me, they would go back and the money back. I tried to work with John, but to no avail. I would be very cautious if using this business! I was never given any explanation as to why the "defective key fob" was able to be programmed successfully by Toyota. When I told John about his possible programming protocol errors, all he could say was "Oh". The reason it took a little over a week to contact John about the problem was a previously arranged vacation that we took. As was mentioned earlier, no explanation as to why the same fob now works perfectly.

I got a better diagnosis at O'Reilly's & AutoZone, you can't ask any questions, very unprofessional and costly. $200 for diagnostic test and , $850 to check spark plugs lmfao. $425 an hour!?? No visual inspection nor provided the codes. BBB will be notified Mechanic is not honest, was over priced for diagnostic test and didn't give me the codes for repair, and when I asked about it , John hung up on me twice, $200 for diagnostic test and an extra $850 to continue diagnostics. I did a visual inspection and found a broken hose. I got a second opinion and was told that John was trying to get more money from me. I would not take my car there again. Or recommend anyone else to NOT 🚫 take your car there, not unless you want to waste Your money 🤑 shop doesn't even deserve 1 star rating

⚠️Caution⚠️: I took my car here to get it fixed and I completely regret it. John is a crooked shop owner. Don’t take your car to him if you value it. I made a deal with John to keep my car there on his lot and paid a 500 dollar deposit to keep it there while I saved money for the repairs and parts that he quoted me for. I contacted him 2 months later and he had put a lien sale on my car and wouldn’t give it back to me unless I paid 10,000. 2024 Honda civic that he stole from me and claimed I owed him an upwards of 15,000 dollars. This guy is crook and has a huge law suit coming towards him once I get back on my feet. This guy took advantage of a 22 year old barely starting out their life. Karma always comes around full circle that’s the last thing I told him. And judging from these comments I’m not the only person or the last that’s he’s scammed. Be Cautious everyone and protect your loved ones from this guy.
