Johnson Lexus had Relentless Collision in Durham give me an estimate to fix 3 small to medium sized dents (photo attached) in the driver side door of my new vehicle. The written estimate provided by Relentless (the official certified center for Johnson Lexus) was for $3,752.79. I live in Raleigh and saw that Relentless had a closer location, so I set up an appointment with the Raleigh location (I assume same ownership group). I took my vehicle in and explained that I had an estimate from the Durham location. The first question the new estimator in Raleigh asked was if I was paying directly or through insurance (he did not care that I had an estimate). When this gentleman found out that I was using insurance he immediately claimed that they needed to setup a supplemental with my insurer. I found it very strange that the same company that provided a written estimate now needed an open purchase order to charge whatever they wanted to the insurance company. When I questioned this process, I was told that the Raleigh location does things a little differently (insinuating they were better at fixing cars/different paint door blending process) and that he could maybe see it being 10-20% more expensive. I did not feel good about this carte blanche process, but I really had no option and placed my trust in this company. When I returned 15 days later to pick up my vehicle, I asked for a breakdown of the costs (Insurance paying but curious what they charged). To my shock instead of the job costing $3,752.79 (estimate) they billed $8,649.64. The original estimate included 10.8hr of labor and instead they billed 60.2hr of labor. Call me crazy but this is either gross incompetence in estimating or insurance fraud. Given there were three surface dents in one door and nothing structurally wrong with the vehicle (This was vandalism and not a crash) I have a hard time concluding how the bill was 230% the cost of the written estimate. This is not a case where they took off the door and discovered more damage that was not visible during the estimate. Relentless Collision appears to have done great work in fixing the car (it looks really good), the front staff ladies were very friendly, and the communication was good. I just cannot get past the dishonesty of the billing practices of this company and therefore do not recommend using them.

Amazing customer service and kept us posted on what was going on with our vehicle. The front desk, office manager, advisor, and management were professional and awesome! Won't EVER go anywhere else! The car was detailed and looked as if nothing ever happened and as if it rolled off the assembly line! Thank you all at Relentless!

This is my 2nd time needing Relentless Collision on Westinghouse Blvd and I am very happy with the service and the results! I HIGHLY recommend this company because they do not copy and paste your car together with used/refurbished parts! (Thank you very much)😊. Relentless is certified by Mercedes-Benz to do the repairs. BEWARE if your insurance company tries to repair your car with used refurbished parts! Take your car to Relentless and get a PROFESSIONAL repair. Every one that I have interacted with is very friendly (miss you Noel😊), very respectful and professional! And SEXY RED is ready to ride! Thank you for the EXCELLENT customer service and excellent repairs!

Our 2025 Rivian R1S was t-boned earlier this year. As a certified Rivian collision center, I had the vehicle sent to Relentless Collision for next steps. Alora, my service advisor, was a consummate professional. She gave willingly of her time to talk me through the process, what all would be required in terms of conversing with Rivian given how new the vehicle was, etc. We connected weekly as she was gathering procedures and details. The vehicle wound up being a total loss, so no repairs were made here, but I feel compelled to share a review to spotlight how wonderful Alora was in this process. A vehicle is a major asset in someone’s life, and you want someone who CARES to be your advocate when you unfortunately need to visit a collision center. Thank you to Alora. I appreciate you!

Best experience I have ever had with a collision company. Erick kept me updated on the status of my car throughout the process. My car was completed within the promised time and the total bill was less than the original estimate. Everyone was helpful and professional.

*WARNING* Do not take your car here to get it repaired through insurance, these guys are absolutely the worst body shop I’ve ever dealt with. Insurance wanted to total my car and I denied it because it was a simple cosmetic fix but it was over the law in NC, because insurance did that before they even had authorization these guys had taken my entire car apart including on the inside and all it was needing to get repaired for was my front bumper, headlight and grill. They took apart car handles, the inside of the car, both side mirrors and practically broke my whole car down before even hearing back from me and then they claim I signed off on that (which I didn’t) I signed a paper to give them authorization to repair my car. Now I took it to another body shop that has to put back together my car they broke down and they didn’t give me any ridiculous excuses as to why they can’t put my car back. These guys definitely work hand in hand with insurance they aren’t slick and wanted to pretty much steal parts from my car to either sell it or reuse it, either way please think very carefully before dropping your car off here unfortunately I was told these guys were the only ones who can fix Alfa Romeos but I found out that’s not the case after having to go through hell with them and then them forcing me to come get my car disassembled and on top of that telling me it has to get towed off because I denied it being totaled because it was a simple fix. I will definitely make sure everyone I know never has to deal with these guys, you have been warned about this horrible Collison center.

I was involved in an accident where someone had rear-ended my Nissan Ariya. It was such a new model that even the local area Nissan service people were still being trained on how to work on them. Plus, people are having to wait up to 7 months to get their Ariya. So my outlook was dim on being able to get parts. Several Raleigh area body shops were unable to take my car in due to either scheduling or not being familiar with the car. Someone on Reddit recommended Relentess Collision to me. I am so glad they did. Relentless took care of our Ariya even though they had never worked on one before. What blew me away was they color matched the rear bumper so well you can't tell the difference. They had all the safety systems recalibrated and work like a charm. They kept me up to date with what was going on with each step. They were able to fix it in about three weeks, which with the backorder of this model was amazing. I would highly recommend them for any body work or painting needed. I posted some after and before pics to show the quality of work.

A 5-Month Nightmare: Incomplete Work, New Damage, and Horrible Service. This was my third time using Relentless Collision, and unfortunately, it will absolutely be my last. My previous experiences were acceptable, but this visit has been the worst automotive service experience I have ever had. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The Workmanship (Or Lack Thereof): They attempted to hand my vehicle back to me incomplete without even telling me. Badges were on backorder, yet nobody communicated this; they just hoped I wouldn't notice. Worse, they failed to fully reassemble the vehicle, literally leaving parts off. To top it off, they returned my car with new damage that was not there at drop-off. There was damage to my hood, along with overspray and visible tape lines. When you take a car to a body shop, you expect it to come back better, not worse. The "Service" & Alora Montgomery: Dealing with Alora Montgomery has been infuriating. When I pointed out the fresh damage to my hood, she was beyond rude and dismissive. She claimed the damage was "noted on intake," yet when I asked for the photo evidence to prove that lie, she couldn’t provide it. This attitude seems to be a pattern with her. On a previous visit, she actually scoffed at the type of vehicle I drive, making a snarky comment that I "probably couldn't afford them." Mind you, I am a repeat customer, and insurance was covering the repair. She acts entitled and treats customers like she is better than them. The Communication Breakdown: The follow-up has been a disaster. I had to call every single week for nearly 5 months just to get the missing/back-ordered badges installed. I was repeatedly lied to about "failed communication attempts" on their end, which is completely false. I have requested a manager to call me several times to resolve these issues. I have received zero replies. The Bottom Line: This has been a never-ending nightmare. Between the incomplete work, the damage they caused, the 5-month wait for parts, and the rude, elitist attitude from staff like Alora, I cannot recommend this place. Before you take your vehicle to Relentless Collision, think twice.

Thomas is an impeccable Manager and technician, having a nuanced understanding of both the technology in modern EV vehicles and pragmatic sensitivity to reality in the work bay. The damage to my R1T straddled sourcing of parts, cost awareness and skill with body restoration. Relentless Collision is an enclave of artisans and should be your first choice looking for help.

Relentless did a great job fixing my Tesla. Communicated well throughout the entire experience, and when the manufacturer dropped the ball on getting parts to them in a timely manner, Relentless stepped up and made it right in the end. While I never want to have repair work done again, should I need it, I’ll be brining the vehicle back to them.

My first two experiences having a vehicle repaired here was great, they did an excellent job. When I got into a third accident, there was no question as to where I wanted my vehicle repaired. I live all the way in Atlanta, so I arranged to have my vehicle transported from Atlanta to Raleigh to have them Repair it. My vehicle ended up being a total loss. They recommended an appraiser to me that I used to negotiate the total loss settlement with my insurance company. Well, that took longer than expected. My car was at their shop for about 90 days. I ended up with a $9,000 bill for storage. It’s not like I could easily come and pick the car up from their lot while my total loss was being settled bc I live in Atlanta. My insurance company was only willing to cover a portion of the storage bill, and I would be responsible for the difference. I tried negotiating with Relentless because $9,000 for storage is just astronomical. I asked if they would take $4,000, and after about a week of following up with them, waiting to hear back from management etc, they ultimately never got back to me. When I tried calling the representative at Relentless I spoke with told me my insurance company was paying it, which I tried telling her wasn’t true bc they would only cover half. They ended up charging my insurance $7,500 for storage fees, and I had to have $3,750 taken out of my total loss settlement. I’m very disappointed. I went out of my way to try and patronize this shop because my last two experience with them were so good. Apparently, they have been bought out since the last time I used them, and they have gotten to be very greedy.

Do not take your car to this place under any circumstance! Got rear ended at stop light with the person going less than 10 mph. Original place I was told to take it to wasn't Alfa Romeo certified so we took it here. We were quoted around 14k!!!! for a bumper and trunk to be replaced and painted and slight frame damage. Of course I was told by my insurance this meant it was deemed "totaled". Yeah ok. So the only 2 options I had were to keep it and get 9k or let them take it and they'd give me 22k. Which according to the laws of NC, if the damage is 75% or more of the car value it's totaled. I would proceed to call them out that 14k was not 75% of 22k which is what they were booking the value at. Can you believe the insurance company told me they have this other BS metric that they go by with determining it being totaled blah blah blah. I would also like to note that I have Geico and after reading some other reviews, there's no question there's some insurance fraud going on with this company and Geico. It's clear they wanted the car for either parts to sell or fix it for cheap and sell it to make money. Either way I kept the car and took my 9k, took it to another body shop, got a quote of a grand total of...............7k! Wow who woulda thought Relentless was scamming. Took it there, got it fixed and it looks beautiful and restored to like nothing ever happened. Don't take your car here, take it to Westgate Collision. Great place, they won't scam you like this place.

I had an excellent experience getting my car repaired. From start to finish, the process was smooth and stress-free. The staff was professional, communicative, and kept me updated throughout the entire repair. My car looks just as good as it did before the accident honestly, you wouldn’t even know anything happened. The work was completed in a timely manner. I truly appreciate the quality of work and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing repairs.

Erick Shew at Relentless expertly managed my Tesla Y repairs, providing regular updates and educating me throughout the process. The team did an excellent job with the challenging Tesla pearl white paint and thoroughly detailed the car before returning it. My insurance company, which charged me a premium for driving a Tesla, didn't want to fix it like one, and Relentless supported me through the legal process of hiring independent appraisers.

Absolutely impressed with this place! My car was rear-ended in October, and since I drive a Volvo, I needed to trust a shop that would truly take care of it. The end result was amazing, and I’m so grateful for their hard work and dedication. My car is as good as new! I highly recommend this place. Erick is such a great addition to their team. He was super patient, informative, and extremely kind. He kept me updated on my car from the very beginning. I highly recommend him!

I was referred to Relentless Collision in Raleigh by Mercedes-Benz back in November because they are one of the few shops certified for MB and EV repairs. While the service seemed decent during the repair process, the after-service experience has been nothing short of terrible. When I finally received my car back nearly 5 months later, the paintwork was a complete mismatch — 3–4 different shades of white. The manager, Randell, told me this was “normal” due to paint age, plastic vs. metal panels, and sun exposure. As someone who buys many cars (especially in Diamond White Pearl), I know this excuse is simply not true. Shortly after, Randell was let go, so I had to escalate the issue directly to the GM, Rick. Rick admitted the car should not have left the shop in that condition and assured me they would make it right. That gave me some hope. After another 6 weeks, I got the car back. While it looked slightly better, it was still far from correct. On top of that, I discovered: Damaged window tint Trunk not opening properly (even fell on my head 3 times) OEM stickers missing from the door Mismatched trunk panels At that point, I told Rick I’d handle the fixes myself if they reimbursed me. He agreed, saying, “No problem, just send the receipts and I’ll cut a check the same day.” Well, it’s now been another 5 weeks since I submitted the invoices, and I haven’t received a dime. I’m out nearly $1,500 fixing issues they caused, and to make matters worse, during my independent lease-end inspection I was told I’ll still be charged by Mercedes for improper paintwork because the car does not meet their standards. Relentless Collision might be “certified,” but in my experience, their workmanship, accountability, and customer service are completely lacking. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you expect your vehicle to be returned to true Mercedes standards.
