I am a single mom with one vehicle. RJ Automotive is the best automotive repair/service provider that I have EVER been to, and I've lived in a lot of different places. Their customer service is superb! They do not take advantage of me because I am a woman with limited automotive knowledge. They explain work to me, but are not condescending. They are honest. Their prices are fair. They repair correctly and fully, and stand behind their work. They are the only place that I go to now, for major repairs to basic oil changes. They are also the only place I refer people to, even my friends who live out of town. Excellent place of business!!!!

I brought Louie my ‘96 Sidekick which had the most infuriating mystery timing problem which even my mechanic father could not figure out. Louie and his team were extremely thorough and kind. They gave me regular updates on what was going on. They didn’t rush the repair which I really appreciate because it allowed them to find the multiple problems my car had. All the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the shop is spotless and well organized. They gave me a fantastic price for the amount of work they did. I’ve found it difficult in the past to find a mechanic who is familiar with Sidekicks/Trackers, but Louie and his mechanics have apparently worked on/rebuilt several of them in the past. If you want quality, friendly, affordable service go to RJ’s. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Took my truck in to have fully inspected to be reliable for work. Not only did they do a full inspection with pictures and videos sent to my email they also broke it down to biggest concerns and future needs. The mechanics and office staff are very professional, thorough, and provide excellent service. Recommend them for any of your vehicle needs.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The owner and the staff are so professional and friendly, you know you're in excellent hands. This is the first time I've ever gone to a mechanic and feel I could trust them. They didn't try to pressure me into getting other things done to my car, just what was necessary. I can say I will remain a loyal customer. When you bring your car here, it feels like you're dealing with friends, not a faceless company. Five stars well deserved!!

I would Highly Recommend RJ's for any type of automotive job on your car #1 prom appointments #2 explains problem and full detail #3 fixes your car correctly and don't steer you in another direction #4 and most of all does not push other issues on you gives you good advice on when to get things done next on your car #5 handles your car with care to where you are very comfortable with having your car in his possession #5 RJ's is a very legit automotive service that is fully registered with Carfax Thank you RJ's

This place is great! I've taken my old trusty Jeep in for rotors, power steering, and other maintenance repairs. They referred me to another shop for new coils, which I thought was nice of them to help another business in town that specializes in that. They helped me to get my money back on defective rotors another shop installed. The ones RJ installed have not given me any issues. It really helps to have a knowledgable and capable female at the front desk that also knows her stuff. She's so nice and great to talk to. They always help me with rides home and back to pick up my car. Their quotes have been reasonable and they get the job done in a day and if they need more time, they'll let you know. Overall, I'm glad I found a reliable auto shop and I'll keep bringing my car to them and refer them if I'm living in Visalia again.

Get a 2nd opinion before coming here. Your better off going to the dealership to get your car repaired correctly a first time and probably be charged less than what they charge here. My mom and I both got our cars repaired here just to bring the car back for other problems/repairs that "weren't cause by them"... they know what they're doing to get you to come back and pay more money.. the paper work does not match what was verbally exchanged with me... apparently he did a coolant flush and added coolant but there was no coolant in my car when I got it back. Save your money, don't come here.

My husband and I will be taking our cars here at RJ Automotive from now on. I’m thankful for Louie(I’m not sure I spelled it right), but I really appreciate their honesty and fair prices. Very rare now in days. Also, he explained every detailed, and I know they work really hard to provide excellent service. Overall, I recommend this awesome people.

I'm glad I went to this auto shop. They quickly took in my car called me and let me know what was wrong, got it fixed. I had told the front desk person I didn't have a ride to pick up my car, he kindly offered a ride, that was pretty awesome of them. He showed me in detailed pictures what was wrong with my car I found that to be very helpful especially since I don't know anything about cars. Over all really great experience definitely my go to place for car trouble now.

Extremely happy with the work that was done here. The staff is top notch and very friendly. Their shop is exceptionally clean as far as automotive shops go and, even though their waiting area is great, they will drive you anywhere in town and pick you up when they are finished with your car. Great communication throughout the whole process. I was quoted a fair price for the work that needed to be done and it was completed in a time efficient manner. Also received a warranty on their work for peace of mind. Definitely recommend!!

Rj Automotive has reputable service. Louie and his team are honest. Integrity is hugely valuable in the auto repair business especially when you’re a woman. I’ve been to other repair shops where it’s easy to tell when they want to make a quick buck, but i’m glad to say that’s not the case here at Rj’s. I’ve been taking my 2000 Honda for a few years now and Louie always takes the time to make sure I understand the diagnosis and what the best way to move forward is. Its hard to find a trustworthy mechanic these days. RJ automotive is as trustworthy as they come. I dropped off my Ford Escape Hybrid because it wouldn't start. They diagnosed the issue and found that my hybrid battery was at fault. Unfortunately they do not work on hybrid batteries. They could have easily charged me a diagnostic fee and sent me on my way, but they said that since they were not able to fix the the problem they will not be charging me at all. My point of contact the whole way through was a woman named Jennifer. She was very kind and professional. 10/10 highly recommend this auto shop.

Good, honest people. My car battery kept dying on me and I couldn't quite figure out why even after I thought I had fixed the problem. I took it here on a recommendation and was helped right there on the spot. They took the time and effort to really look into the problem and even helped me with another small issue. After about an hour of doing tests and pinpointing and helping me out, I asked how much I owed them. The man said "Nothing, just give us a good review". Good to know there is still good people who aren't there to just make a quick buck off you. Strongly recommend, would 100% go there if I need to again.

I haven't lived in Visalia very long, so I did my research and found RJs. When I called, I was addressed with professionalism and courtesy. They freely volunteered information and had no problem quoting me an estimate. From the moment I walked in I got a good first impression. The lot and the office were clean. I was not interrupting anyone from texting. I got zero "creepy vibe". Every person I encountered still maintained the same level of courtesy and professionalism I was met with on the phone. They were very transparent and made sure that I was clearly informed. When I handed over the keys to my wife's van, I was offered a ride home and would be picked up when it was ready. They offered any information I could have asked about. The work was good. The estimate was accurate, and their time estimate reasonable. They guaranteed their work and even followed up with a text making recommendations complete with photo evidence. I don't have to take their word for it. I can see what needs to be done. I'm sorry to say I do not easily trust mechanics, and when I find a good one I am a loyal customer. I couldn't tell you if I could find the work done more cheaply. In my mind this was money well spent. I rarely write these reviews, but this one is absolutely worth my time. I will be back, and I would recommend RJs to anyone.
