RUNAWAY!! Damaged my vehicle trim & sheetmetal during installation, the manager Kevin is quite rude, he claimed they didn’t do it before even looking. Pick another company, there are many in town. No accountability everyone blames someone else. They refuse to cover repair costs or cost of windshield.

I gave it only 3 stars because I had to keep going back and this should not happen if it's a quality job done right. For customer service I'd give 5 stars. I really wish I just would have never went in the first place and just fixed the 2 millimeter nick myself; that's how small it was (I could have ordered the glue on Amazon). But, I figured I'd let the experts do it. Well, they ended up making the nick worse, like dime size. Which I do question if it's because replacing a whole windshield cost more money? 🤔 It's easy to make a nick larger on purpose ( I'm not saying that's what they did, but it does make one wonder since insurance pays for it). So, I scheduled the replacement at my home (which I don't recommend,) it's best if you go to them. They have all the tools in the shop plus a second pair of hands if needed. While I was driving I kept hearing this thud noise. My son who was in the passenger seat then noticed the windshield molding flapping in the wind. That could have been a safety hazard if it came off and went flying. So, I went back again and had that glued down, plus the first guy that came to my house also missed a clip by the hood of the car. I take my car home and my husband noticed that there was also about 6 inches of weather stripping missing on one molding. So, I needed to make another appointment to take it back again. Customer service said that they should have put in new moldings to begin with and not have reused the old ones. So, the master tec fixed the one side with one new molding, but he still left the old molding on the other side ( go figure 🤦). I also now have a rock hard drip of glue on the center of my steering wheel which I cannot get off. I assume this happened when it was being repaired as it was not there before. 🤷♀️

Not good..they left my car like this today...didn’t notice till after they left. I called 877 number when I noticed it around 4:53pm..the lady seemed like she cared..she said she would have to put me on hold to reach out to local office..it got to be a little after 5pm..and then boom I was disconnected.. I called back and I got an auto message that said they were closed for the day. I’m concerned with driving my car anywhere as I’m sure this trim piece will fly off asap. Fortunately, they installed at my house and I had nowhere to go today.. If this is not fixed asap I will leave the review with 1 star…if they reconcile first thing in the morning I will edit to 3 stars and consider using them again - it’s up to them!

The actual install was great and fast BUT there were a couple issues prior to service being completed. First , the younger woman working the desk should be fired. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, she was rude and didn’t have a clue about anything going on. She sat on her cell phone taking a personal (loud & annoying ) call for an hour , WITH CUSTOMERS in the waiting area while she’s sitting at the desk. HAD TO BE the first time a male has ever called her because that conversation was THE ONLY thing going on in her world at the time . I’m very glad myself and the others could be a part of that DUMB personal conversation. Two different techs tried to approach her and walked away frustrated because she was so into her CELL PHONE CONVERSATION. Secondly, your automated phone service is not something good or fancy. I’m sure you feel the need to keep up with other businesses in 2024 but this was a huge mistake. Get rid of your automated phone service! It’s by far the worst I have ever experienced in customer service. No one should have to be on the phone for 14 minutes talking to a computer, simply trying to get through to a live agent to let them know and ask details about our appointment. It’s beyond ignorance, the only thing customers take from the experience is how rude and annoying it is. I promise humans are quite capable of taking phone calls , let’s not short cut everything Safelite .

I have a brand new car that the windshield unfortunately got crack I went there because of my insurance company and had to get it replaced twice bc I was getting rain water inside of my car and now there’s still opening in the crack this is absolutely ridiculous these workers need to get better

Horrible customer service. Endless holds. Appt scheduled and no one ever showed up or called to say they are not coming. Ended up with corporate customer care, and they called the Tech Installer(no answer), the shop manager(no answer), and the district manager(no answer) several times with no luck. This is through insurance and I am sure they take care of self pay customers as priority and then decide if they do the insurance jobs. I will also share this information with insurance company to let them know how customers are treated. Ridiculous that i now have to make another appointment to see if they will show up next time. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP

As the service manager for my company, I oversee the vehicles my team relies on every single day — and I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am with Safelite’s workmanship. We had a windshield replaced on one of our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, and ever since, it’s been a disaster. The first install leaked rainwater directly into the cabin. They came back out to replace it — and guess what? It still leaks. The repeated water intrusion has now ruined the headliner, and the entire interior of the van smells musty, damp, and flat-out disgusting. It’s not just inconvenient — no one on our team even wants to drive it anymore. It’s incredibly sad to see such a beautiful, well-kept van in our fleet reduced to this condition because of poor attention to detail and zero accountability. This van was once something we were proud to send out in the field. Now it’s the one everyone avoids — and I don’t blame them. Safelite promised to assess the water damage. They didn’t. Now they expect us to drive an hour away just so they can “try to clean it”? That’s not a solution — it’s a brush-off. This needs to be made right — immediately. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend Safelite to any business that values its equipment or its people.

I scheduled a windshield replacement with Safelite due to a small crack. Since then, it’s been an absolute nightmare. The first replacement windshield leaked rainwater directly onto my lap while driving. They came back to fix it, installed a second windshield — and guess what? It still leaks. Same issue, same poor workmanship. To make matters worse, the leaking water caused visible damage to the headliner of my Mercedes-Benz. They promised a damage assessment during their second visit, but absolutely nothing was done. No repair, no reimbursement, no accountability. Now they’re telling me I need to drive an hour away to their shop so they can “try to clean it.” My headliner is still stained, the windshield still leaks, and I’ve wasted time and gas dealing with it all. Zero pride in their work, zero follow-through, and zero resolution. 0 out of 10 — avoid Safelite if you value your car or your time.

I have been using safelight for years but I would not use this particular store again in the future. They damaged a plastic piece around the windshield of my car during windshield replacement. I spoke to the manager Kevin and he blamed it on my car being old (it’s only 5 years old), said there is nothing he can do about and hung up the phone. Initially, I thought we got disconnected and I tried to call back but he never pick up or called back. Very unprofessional.

Horrible experience. Had the windshield replaced twice now on my brand new hummer. First time it had a terrible seal and you could hear air flowing, scheduled a warranty appointment and after the second attempt he re-installed the same windshield which he seemed to scratch while cleaning glue residue off of it, left my car a mess from glue and now it leaks water.

Horrible costumer service , left my vehicle on Tuesday night for the windshield to be replaced on Wednesday, I do not have any other from of transportation, so I fixed it a way I could pick it up later , called and no information about the vehicle , it sent a text massage that it was finished . I had to leave work early to be able to pick up my keys to the car before they closed as stated on their door and their website , made it at 4:30pm , doors closed , no one on sight not even my car . This has me now without vehicle for me to work the next day!! Never ever will recommend this location !

Yaya and Carlos were AMAZING!! I bought my car pre-owned. The previous owner had the windshield replaced “incorrectly” which lead to flooding when it rained. Carlos took off the windshield and showed me how stripped it was. They were so attentive considering the run around I was going through. I have my windshield replaced back on Dec 4th of 2025 and I called a couple of days ago for a warranty service since I have a failed system on my rear camera that I thought it has something to do with the calibration done during the windshield replacement. The appointment was scheduled for yesterday Jan 13th to have a technician coming over my place to review the issue, however the technician called me before coming and determined that the issue it has nothing to do with them, so he cancelled the appointment and recommended me to take the vehicle to the dealership. Later in the day I received a receipt with the service order completed and with a charge of $897.09 when the technician never showed up. The receipt actually it saids that my vehicle has been vacuumed and the exterior windows cleaned.. How can this be possible..?? Called the office in Naples FL and get nothing resolved.. Absolutely unbelievable..!!
