Victor, the owner came to my rescue one day. My great fortune was to have my battery die in the parking lot next to Centric. What kindness and knowledge that man has! He jumped my car for free and rather than take it into his shop, he knew better prices were down the street at the auto supply store and referred me there. Jump ahead 6 months when my car broke down with a cracked strut rod. Where did I have it towed? You got it, Centric. Theresa at the front desk assured me they would take receipt of my car and I didn’t even have to be there. Even though the car didn’t arrive until late, they had it ready the next afternoon! I trust them, they delivered and they got the job down quickly. I would take my car there again. Everyone at Centrix, from Theresa at the front desk to the mechanic and Victor the owner gave me excellent service. --

I took my car to Centric Auto Repair because supposedly they stand by their diagnostic they say that they are not pushy. Still, they were they made it seem that if I didn't fix it right then and there that I was going to cause more problems to my vehicle he gave me a really high repair cost which I was not going to take. Still, they kept being pushy and brought the price down, and also offered me a payment plan I was out there for work so I feel like if I didn’t fix it then I was gonna be stuck so Then I picked up my car the next day I drove home to Bakersfield to find out the next day that the issue was not fixed. My car would not even start and there was no way I was gonna drive four hours so they could recharge me again. So I took it to a local shop and it ended up being just a fuel pump relay That was less than 100 bucks to fix Now I'm Stuck on a payment plan paying off $1700 for something that was never broken just misdiagnosed

We had a family friend relative suggest this auto repair and we found a gem in the process. One of our cars needed a new thermostat and a temp sensor. They got us back on the road in no time. Today my car needed a serpentine belt. The auto Tech Ricky suggested getting both replaced. I am so glad I listened. He was able to make us an appointment today and get us out today. That's two for two for our Camaros. We are forever grateful having this autoshop near by. There work has always been painless. The staff super friendly. Every single person in the office gave us respect 🙏. Even though they liked the first Camaro better 😀. BIG THANKS AND SHOUT OUT TO CENTRIC AUTO!!!!!

These are awesome folks at Centric Auto repair. I went with a groupon coupon and ended up doing tons of other stuff for great price. Very neat place with super clean bathroom that's hard to find even with delaler's service centers. Also the staff are friendly and no pushy selling of serices either. Don’t ignore negative reviews. My window was damaged during an alignment, and they just blamed it on the car being old. Even if that were the case, that would mean they don’t work carefully. The car could have been lifted too fast. Other places at least offer significant discounts if something happens during their service. All negative reviews are written for a reason. Skip this place. A cheap price can be expensive in the long term.

Words can't express my satisfaction with Victor and his team. If you're looking for a reliable, honest mechanic, this is your spot! As a young woman that knows nothing about cars, victor was patient and broke down all the information for me. AND he saved me thousands on a repair i thought I needed (per another diagnosis somewhere else). The process took a couple weeks but it was worth the wait. He took his time inspecting the vehicle and by doing so, it saved me a lot of money. I will be coming back for everything in the future and recommending to family and friends. He’s ahead of the game, he really invests into his business and it shows! Quality, reliability and integrity. Trust his process! I don’t often do reviews but my experience was so amazing.

My Toyota Prius has lasted me 14 years on its batteries and totes a hefty 200K + miles and she's still going strong. BUT, as of late, I believe this colder weather has now drained what's left and I needed to get my batteries replaced ASAP. After doing a lot of research in the area, I found HYBRID BATTERY REPAIR TOYOTA and I decided to trust them with my baby. HYBRID BATTERY REPAIR TOYOTA is part of CENTRIC AUTO REPAIR and they are both located within the same building in San Marcos. The map directions to their location was very direct and although they have very limited parking directly in front of their office, there is plenty of free parking space in their lot towards the back. Customer service is excellent and I was greeted by Victor. He was very knowledgeable and more importantly, came across very genuine (not like he was trying to upsell me on any services). Victor was very direct with what needed to be done to my car and what the cost would be. Originally, he said that I could just leave the vehicle with the shop & they could return it in a a few days. With all the crazy rain coming and my work situation, that couldn't work for me. I explained that I needed the work done in 1 day. Victor left to speak to his staff and was able to have me leave my car to get repaired for the next day! Even better, he contacted ENTERPRISE CAR RENTALS, next door to them, and was able to arrange a rental vehicle to me that same day! The service is above and beyond what I'd expected and their pricing was extremely great! I also appreciate that they have complimentary drinks, snacks & clean bathroom for their clients. Had a great experience with HYBRID BATTERY REPAIR TOYOTA and I highly recommend them. Side note: Be patient with them if you don't get a response on the phone. They only had 1 staff up front. I had better luck just driving to them and walking in. A minor inconvenience for such great service.

Victor’s crew did a great job as usual at a great price. I’ve had them work on my Scion Frs, dodge challenger, Hyundai veloster n and my latest vehicle, an Audi a4 Quattro avant. I’m very happy with the work they’ve done and always recommend them to my family and friends. Great shop and reasonable prices for anyone looking for qualified honest mechanics.
