I have a 2014 W212 E350. Used them last year for some major items: engine mount& transmission mount; front control arms; timing cover gasket leak; belt tensioner and tie rod endlinks. And this year did an engine oil change and a transmission flush. They did work quickly with absolutely great quality. The work from last year held up well and after this year's transmission flush the car drives just like new, the shifts aren't noticeable anymore. Pricing wise it's fair and they use quality OE equivalent named brands parts. I'll be keep coming back for sure.

Great service! Very fair price for labor for a transmission replacement. My transmission died on my Mercedes and had to be replaced- they were significantly less expensive and the transmission comes with a two year warranty. Please note- transmission was rebuilt by the best mercedes transmission shop in California and shipped there and back... Which is where Schmitt Automotive has transmissions rebuilt.

I took my 2013 Mercedes C63 AMG to get some work done. The m156 engine is known for the notorious rattle it has on cold starts, Mark, being a very very knowledgeable mechanic, knew what my problem was over the phone. He knew exactly what to replace, how to replace it, and how he can help make my engine last a lot longer, before he even saw my car in person. He definitely knows what he’s doing, I trust these people and will highly recommend bringing it to them if you have any issues with your car. 10/5 stars!!

Mark did a fantastic job taking the time to explain issues to me and his knowledge is unmatched. On top of all that his work is awesome and it's a huge relief to find someone you can actually trust. This is one of the few places I've found that actually understands the quirks with my older Mercedes and knows how to do the job right. I purchased a 1994 Mercedes SL500 roadster from Unique Automotive in Kent, Washington, while I was 2000 miles away in Texas. I had a pre-purchase inspection done first by a franchise that does that. Then I had Schmitt Automotive give a second opinion and was so impressed with them that I bought the car and then told them "get me back to Texas." They did! They replaced fluids, hoses, serpentine belt, spark plugs, plug wires, and various other items. They also made sure the wheels all came off - having to drill a bolt or stud to get one wheel off to look at the brakes (and bearings?) as well as make sure I could change a tire if I had to. And, yes, verified I had a good spare. When a hard-to-get-quickly relay failed and disabled my turn indicators and wipers, I thought "the jig is up" and started making plans to ship the car back to Texas - canceling my road trip. Then Mark Schmitt came up to me and said - I fixed it. He actually took the needed relay from his own car (a 1995 S class) and swapped it into mine! Now THAT is service! I made it home with only a couple of minor issues - check engine light came on briefly once and then never again (not burned out!) and the SRS (airbag) light takes a minute or so to go off. The car runs and drives extremely well and I made it home safely. I've already started some additional cosmetic fixes - like a new grille to replace the broken one that was missing the logo star. Now I just hope I can find someone like them locally!

My little red C230 is back in action! Mark and the team were great to work with and easy to talk to as well. A clean workshop, professional skills, and a love of German cars all combined for a great experience. I'm stoked by the results. While not a low-cost option, pricing is fair and the talent level is excellent. Do give them a call.

Frank and Mark helped me restore my dad's 1990 Mercedes 420SEL. When my father passed away in 2024, he told me before he passed that he wanted to look at one of his cars. It was this 1990 Mercedes that he parked in his carport since 2019. This was the first luxury car that he bought when he first moved to the U.S. more than 20 years ago. My dad was a mechanic in Thailand. He also used to sell luxury cars like this to many politicians in Thailand after he graduated from law school. He loved cars and he knew how special 1990 Mercedes is. It was so difficult for me to find a mechanic in nears my house who would help me restore my dad's car. Then someone told me about Schmitt Automotive. Frank and Mark helped me restore this car. They didn't just help me fix the car so it can drive again. Frank helped me restore the car to the point that it's no longer leaking in the trunk, the radio that didn't work now is working great. It's amazing beyond amazing. Frank took care of this car as if it was his own car. It's rare to find a mechanic who is kind, honest and meticulous like Frank. It was very easy to communicate with Mark to get updates and etc during the process. I finally drove this 1990 Mercedes yesterday for the first time after Frank and Mark helped me fix it. I was so impressed how amazing it is to drive this car. I feel so grateful for the team at Schmitt Automotive!
