Said we needed transmission and torque converter. Took somewhere else, car is fine. Transmission was good. Driving it now. Said we were full of metal and burnt. We watched other garage take pan off and it was old not burnt and not full of metal. Shutter was being caused from a whole different problem. We fixed it for $240. They tried to charge me $1277 to diagnose it due to saying it will take 8.5 hrs to drop it and tear it apart for warranty and then paid $160 just for a lie. Otherwise they were nice to us.

So stumbled upon this place & popped in to ask them what it would cost to swap out my headlights on my truck. They quoted me a price & I said sure. They did a great job but did charge me $75 over what they quoted me. Overall it’s a great group of people & was a good experience.

This place is not recommended. Despite being cautioned, the mechanic insisted that he could fix my Cadillac's headlight issue without removing the bumper. After several hours of futile attempts using various tools, he broke the headlight housing with a flathead screwdriver and lost two bulbs in the engine bay, for which I had paid. The process took so long that we ended up driving home with one headlight, which was what we had hoped to fix. A subsequent inspection by a local body shop revealed that the headlight was beyond repair and a significant portion of the wiring harness had been damaged. The cost of replacing the headlight and wiring harness exceeded $500. While they may have some basic mechanical skills, their expertise is evidently insufficient.

The gentleman I worked with at Service Street was very professional and answered all my questions. I wasn't talked down to nor oversold on services I didn't need. They did a full vehicle check with a break job, alignment, and oil change. But they told me my plugs, air filter, and transmission all looked great. Only changed the fluids I needed and let me know how much longer I probably have on the rest. It was a great experience. The cost was also very fair and they got my car in and out in under 4 hours.

This was my first visit to this location with a car I just purchased. I used one of my prepaid oil change services from a package I purchased (a great deal by the way - highly recommended) and in addition they replaced air filters for my engine and cabin. They found an acorn in my cabin air filter - that was NUTS! 🤣🥜 In addition they provided a Carfax report at no charge as well as installing the wiper blades and my new license plate I already had in the back seat also at no additional charge. These people take care of you like family with sincere honesty and professionalism. I'll definitely trust them in the future to take care of my vehicle's maintenace and repair needs. Great shop!

They run an exceptional & very respectable business. Had a flat tire today and the manager helped me out greatly with a brand new tire. Would definitely recommend them to anybody for tires, or any mechanical services that are needed. Will definitely do business with them again

We had to take our 2007 Yukon Denali in for a fuel leak. They replaced the fuel line and fuel pump. My wife made it approximately 110 miles and it left her stranded. The shop told me one of the connections wasn't installed correctly. I would expect for $1600 the tech could install a fuel line connection correctly. They did fix the problem after we had to get a tow back to Knoxville. This is an issue that should have never been. Good help is hard to find.

Chris Fasano is the best to work with. He is knowledgeable and takes his time to explain the necessary work that your automobile requires. He is very patient with those that do not understand how cars work and explains the risks if you do not consider the recommended services. Thanks Chris. Donna Wilson.

Definitely takes advantage of clients who come in who aren’t car/mechanical savvy to overcharge them. Also make sure you know they add EXTRA fees on the invoice/receipt for “shop fees” that they fail to explain or mention until it’s too late. ☺️ We’ve had services done here before and never been up charged or taken advantage of like this. Absolutely will never be back and will be letting all friends and family know as well.

The staff here is really friendly. The service is fast but it did start picking up a bit after I came in. They do have coffee, tea, water, and vending machines while you wait. I did go to the cedar bluff location and didn't realize until now this location was closer snd what seems to be less busy or maybe I just caught them on a good day here. I will continue to come to this location for my vehicle needs but all of the Service Streets are great!

DO NOT TRUST them for a diagnosis! Long explanation, but I want others to be aware. I had a previous review, a 5-star, for they used to treat me well, or so it seemed. I went in for a front wheel alignment after I got new tires put on. I told them I've been hearing a thump, feeling like my car has less suspension when driving on bumpy roads. I thought it was a shock issue. Asked them to drive it, look it over, let me know. 45 minutes later, I'm told that there is nothing wrong, the alignment adjusted whatever that was. Wrong! I go back, they drive it, look at it, show me that my front right axle is "loose", that is the problem. I don't know cars, and he could wiggle the axle a tad...but I trusted them. Well, guess what?!? $515 later, it wasn't the axle! I go back AGAIN, because know the sound is worse and it's vibrating heavily in the morning when I start it. They tell me it is my struts and my timing chain. Mind you, I have a 21 Hyundai Elantra, no check engine light ever came on. They quoted me over 5k!! I stated to fall for it, but money down, began doing my homework...then requested my money back. GUESS WHAT?? It was my motor mount, a total of $360 for replacement with an oil change and spark plugs! I WAS LIVID, for I just gave them $515 for something that wasn't even wrong!! They are either bad at doing a diagnosis, huge scammers, or maybe both! I first went to them because they had great reviews, but from what I just experienced ...trust me, you don't want to go there!!! And what's sad, the guys are really nice and I thought I liked them. They will rob you blind!!

Took my new to me 2012 Ram 1500 here on the recommendation of a friend to have it inspected for any issues. All of the issues found were the result of the vehicle's age and poor maintenance. Among them were a small coolant leak, need of a power steering flush, rear brakes & rotors, transmission cooler hose and flush, a small leak from the oil pan gasket and the need of a serpentine belt replacement. Not bad for a 13 year old vehicle with nearly 200k miles. Though they all would need to be addressed, the most urgent was the coolant leak which they found and corrected quickly. I will definitely have the rest of the work completed here, as I can afford it. The folks were very knowledgeable, and kind and even offered me a veteran's discount. The GM, Kevin is a great, personable guy. I recommend this place if you need a pre-sale inspection or any auto repair.
