I have to give a big shout out to Kyle Atkins @ Atkins Auto Repair behind Skatetown going up Blackoak Ridge. You don’t stay in business for over 30 years unless your honest, fair, dependable, and just a truly good person. We have been using Atkins Auto Repair for years and have always got a fair deal, and repairs done in a timely manner. Gotta give a shout out to his #1 repair tech. Neil, there’s nothing that guy can’t do. So if your ever in need of auto repair I highly recommend Atkins Auto Repair at 5721 Madonna Circle in Fountain City Tennessee.

I hate to give this place any stars at all. I told the guy what my brother THOUGHT was wrong with my car & asked him (the owner) to check it out & see what he thought it was in his professional opinion & please call me with an estimate. Instead he fixed what my brother THOUGHT was wrong. No call with estimate & he didn't drive it after to see if the issue was resolved but I don't think he drove it before either. Also he owed me a credit for the first work he did. My alternator belt lasted less than a month. After confirming twice he'd give me a credit he didn't & of course wasn't giving my keys until I paid him. When I got upset HE called the police. Nothing happened but still...After telling a couple of people about it I learned some shady stuff. If they tell you they have cameras to protect your belongings from theft it isn't true & theft is likely. Never again!

This mechanic shop has always gone above and beyond to keep us on the road. I have now had 3 vehicles serviced there and it hasn't been super expensive. The mechanic is always professional and helps me understand what is going on. They got my daughter back on the road in less than 24 hours and that was amazing.

incredible people!!! i have had constant issues with my car for about a month and a half and been fixing it myself. This time there was no check engine light. I came in in a wreck and in shambles from stress. The woman working not only calmed me down and made sure i left better than i came in, but also ran diagnostics on my car and were honest and truthful. They said i had done a great job on all the repairs and told me exactly what i needed to fix without any extra unnecessary stuff. I live in the street and just showed up because it was closest, but this is now the ONLY place i will be taking my cars!!!

Total trash service picked my jeep up this morning for one the rearend sounds worse than it did when I dropped it off and 2 my tire fell off on the way home because the lug nuts wasn’t tight would not recommend having them lay a finger on your vehicle

My family has used Atkins Auto Repair for over a decade and have had a great experience every time. The staff are truthful - they keep you in the loop by giving estimates along the way for both time and price, as well as trying to get you the best deal. I had a Honda Accord that wouldn’t start and was told it needed a starter by the dealer. Atkins diagnosed it correctly as the alternator, saving me over $1000. Jenny, Neal, and Kyle definitely care about the work they do here and it shows. Thank you guys!

0 stars my car was getting hot I dropped it off for diagnoses she called back and said your thermostat is bad and the water pump has a bad bearing so we recommend replacing it. Next day they say it's fixed I go get it it gets right back hot not even a mile down the road I take it back they do another pressure check and call saying it's the head gasket and exact words "my mechanic says he's exhausted himself on it and he's not gonna fix it" then she calls saying if I don't hurry and come get it it's going to be $50 a day storage. And I said that's not even right 1st after u tell me it's the thermostat and water pump making it hot and now I waste over $600 and u won't even let me pay u to fix it the right way. She said we never told u that it was the water pump!!!!! Lol ok then why would I pay $600 to put on a water pump if it wasn't bad so I'm now screwed out of $600 and talked to extremely rude. After they messed up and misdiagnosed it they should be willing to fix it the right way with me paying for parts only. But I offered to pay parts labor and all. That's extremely bad business and then to say they never said it's the water pump use your own judgement ppl I never would have paid to have one put on smh I wouldn't take my lawnmower to these ppl
