The place doesn't look very nice, but the owners are very friendly and helpful. I took my car to another mechanic and got an estimate, and Brian said he would look it over free of charge. He brought me in, lifted the car, and showed me exactly what was happening. He told me he would do the same stuff as the other auto repair shop (replace water pump, timing belt, and thermostat) and he would change the other belts and seals since he was already down there. Makes sense to go ahead and replace it while you have it taken apart instead of waiting till it fails and then having to pay for labor all over again to remove parts of the engine. I noticed that they didn't provide me with any paperwork, though. No estimate, receipt, etc. I am going to go back tomorrow for a receipt. I dropped my car off at 8:30 and was waiting for him to work on it, as he said it would take most of the day. He worked through his lunch to get it fixed so I would have it sooner. These guys are really helpful and friendly!

I have taken my 1997 CRV to SHA for years (after having a pretty lousy last-straw experience at a Honda dealer.) They always offer me the most economical solution when I have to bring my car in. They are fair, honest, and do great work. Brian always encourages me to hold on to my '97 because it's a great car. I'm just glad I can count on them to keep it in great shape. I would never take my present and future Hondas anywhere else.

I had an issue with steel on steel with my truck last week. The guys fixed the problem at no charge. They could have easily charged me for their time and labor but didn’t. That is why I continue to bring all of our 3 vehicles to them. Great customer service

I have been using SHA since 2003 and hands down they are the best. They are not only knowledgeable but will bend over backwards to make sure your problem is resolved. They both used to work at a dealership and have extensive knowledge, but are down to earth guys who treat people right. They also treat women the same as men and are very professional. Everyone I've referred has been very happy with them.

I have used these guys on four different Honda's and have no complaints. Only thing I use a dealer for is recalls and they (the dealer) screwed up on the last air bag recall. Brian and Tony are good guys and have never let me down.

We have been to SHA 3 times. Two of those times they didn't even charge us - once to test the battery and the other to replace a part that we provided that apparently was very easy for them. They didn't have to do that. They have shown themselves to be competent, reliable, and very trustworthy.

Like the other post, I would leave 10+++ stars for these guys. I can't say enough about the quality of their work and fair pricing. Until I found these guys, I was gouged on two prior occasions at other shops. It's nice to find someone who does honest work for a fair price. They specialize in Honda. They worked on my Nissan and Chevrolet. The work was A#1.

Great owners and extremely knowledgeable about cars. They have always diagnosed car problems correctly. They tell you cost of the repairs before beginning them and always have your car finished at the time they state. Plus, as woman I trust them which hasn't always been the case when having working done on my vehicles. Tony and Bryan are awesome!

I had my car inspected by Firestone a couple months back for intense vibration and thumping in the tires when driving over 30mph, getting unbearable at highway speed. They told me my struts were bad and that my tires were cupping on the inside, and quoted me at $2500 to replace them in my 2010 Toyota Corolla LE. I called these guys after being recommended by my mom and a friend, and had them inspect and repair the car. They replaced my front struts and put on brand new tires and gave me a balance for $900, and even checked my A/C which was making a strange noise. One wheel is bent, and they offered to check around to find a replacement for me. My car drives like it’s brand new just like when I first got it. No vibration, no shaking, and no noise at all. They got it in and out within about 6 hours. I’m extremely thankful and grateful for their service and honesty, cause it would have been easy to try and get me to pay more than I did. I’ll be taking my car here from now on for any big repair; these guys are trustworthy!

My friend recommended me here and Brian helped me inspect the used car I want to buy, 1st one was junk and 2nd one is great and I love it. they provided very candid & honest suggestion instead trying to get you spend money, they told me when they inspect my current car 3 months ago, they told me the tire and brake need change in a couple of months but no hurry, and I just got them replaced there this morning, the price is just fraction of I got quote somewhere else, they tried to save you money but also keep high quality & safety. now the brake is so smooth and I love it. just like the other comments said, the place looks not good, but don't be cheated by the outside, my friend told me they are both best Honda technicians in Knoxville area and he has use them for more than 10 years, you can see all the qualification and certification on the wall. one word, highly recommended to others who need help on their car.

I would have left 10 stars if this had let me. I took my mom’s car here and they fixed exactly what was necessary. No more. No less. Very honest and they seemed to genuinely care that my mom wasn’t paying more than necessary. My mother previously took her car to Firestone and got an estimate for some work needed. They quoted her $2500 for a bunch of stuff that we realized was not needed. The guys here did what was needed and charged her a reasonable amount. About a fifth of what Firestone wanted to charge her. My thanks and loyalty goes out to these guys. Thank you and I will recommend you to anyone seeking a good, reliable, honest, and caring mechanic. Thanks again.
