The team at Southern Team Subaru is incredible. Kevin is a great person to work with and was so patient with all my questions and with finding the cars I wanted to test drive. Heather was so helpful during the buying process as well and explained all the optional warranties that are available. No one there is pushy like your typical car sales people. My husband and I were offered food and drinks as well and a comfortable place to sit while we waited. I highly recommend this team. It was a wonderful car buying experience.

I took my Subaru to Southern Team for service for almost three years. The service on the vehicle and the professionalism of the staff were all great! Recently Southern Team changed two things: They discontinued the courtesy shuttle and they started charging a fee for using a credit card to pay for service, hence four stars instead of five.

The customer service here was simply amazing. I started with talking to Trevin, who was phenomenal and patient with letting me test drive as many cars as I wanted, never once complaining. He was super helpful when it came to pricing and giving details on each car. Then, Jaden was wonderful in breaking down the complicated finance aspect of the purchase. He was very thorough and patient through it all. Couldn’t have made it through all the nerves I felt without him. A huge thank you to Nicole. She was so kind and patient with me when I came back after walking away on Saturday. She, also, never once seemed frustrated with my millions of questions about the different cars. She made the entire process bearable and as easy as possible. Her and Jaden both deserve huge recognition for staying after business hours to help me, neither never once complained, even though I knew it had been a long day for them. Lastly, special recognition to all the others I came in contact with that I never caught their names. Each person was so friendly and welcoming, always offering help, a beverage, or simply just a smile. I’m so appreciative to everyone I came across on this journey of buying a new car.

I bought a car from southern teams used lot 18 months ago. During the paperwork portion the paperwork was not correct and had an incorrect trade in value for my car. They told me it was fine the total number for my loan was correct so it would be fine. I received a call the next day that the paperwork didn’t go through because the math didn’t add up. I then had to meet them again for them to fix the paperwork they messed up. About a month later I started having electric issues with the vehicle. I attempted to call numerous times and the response I got by star who sold me the car was “funny I didn’t hear from you until you had a problem” and “you can look up a YouTube to reset the electric issues”. I did reset it however continued to have issues. When I called again I was told I would get a rental by star while it was fixed again and the she immediately called back and said I would not get this rental. I voiced my frustration and star told me she sells an average of 17 cars a week so she was fine without my family’s business. I sold the car since because issues were never fixed and I could no longer get in touch with anyone there or management. Last week a man showed up at my house in a hoodie with some of my paperwork for selling my jeep. He was asking for me to sign over the title that was lost and needed my social which I refused to give him. I then received a call from southern team the next day saying they needed that information and I would need to meet them at the dmv for the title they lost over a year ago. I don’t usually complain and had let everything go until this last experience. I will never buy a car from this business again. I will 10000% recommend Obaugh ford in Staunton who was wonderful to work with.

Southern Team Subaru saved our Thanksgiving weekend!! On Saturday, November 28, my daughter and I were driving from New Jersey to Tennessee when the “check engine" light went on. Still 500 miles from our destination, we panicked. We rolled into the Southern Team Subaru service center praying for a Thanksgiving miracle. Melissa Sigmon and the service department delivered! Not only did they make sure we got home safely, they kept our dog full of treats and entertainment. I will forever be grateful to them!

When buying, If the numbers matter... These guys are on point ! I actually had 2 other dealers say, that can't be right...... *The information given over the phone matched the paperwork actually put in front of me once I arrived. *Quick and easy process as far as car purchases go. *No hard upsell on silly after sale-extras. * The next closest PRICE dealer, and trust me, I knew what I wanted and SHOPPED around, was more than 2 thousand $ higher. * one of the "doubtful" dealers, who text, "so how'd it go?" just sent a "that was a heck of a deal" reply after I sent him a pics of final figures, and the keys.. All in all, a pleasant experience. I felt like I got a very fair deal, the entire team was layed back, no pressure, just let me know if there's some you need feel. 2025 Outback Wilderness w/option Pkge. 22, Crystal Black Silica. ***UPDATE- 5 months after the sale, and I've been back to the dealership twice. 1st visit- scheduled appointment for basics, and was met by friendly, smiling faces, they were timely, eager to get it done. Service was fast, the entire process was seamless. 2nd. Visit, scheduled appointment for accessory install. Again, smiles and folks who seem to care and were willing to address any concerns. Fees charges were way less than estimated. LESS THAN. I wondered around the entired dealership while waiting for a semi-lenghtly accessory install. Every section I visited, every employee in came in contact with, was the same. From the car wash porter, my service advisor, to a random lady I passed in a Subaru shirt whilst milling outside.... Respectful greeting, heads up, smiling, pleasant demeanor. Despite all the nice amenities, and they are many, the employees ATTITUDES, proves someone is doing it right around there! I enjoy writing positive reviews, and this place has earned it.
