These folks are awesome. My Kawi is a bit on the older side so the place I usually take my bikes for work said they couldn't service it anymore. Two years without a tuneup, my bike was overheating, stuttering, battery was dying, breaks were squeaking, and I just couldn't trust it anymore. But I got lucky and found this place, and since they worked on it, my bike has been purring. I'm king of the road again! Thank you Southpaw!

If you’ve got a recreational vehicle and need literally anything done on it or fixed, these guys are the place to bring it to. From dirt bikes to snowmobiles, street bikes and razors, they’ve worked on it all for me even rebuild motors and not once have I had to bring a toy back because they did do the job right the first time,10/10 these guys don’t miss💪🏼

I had two of my Dirtbikes at this mechanic shop. It was a nightmare, the worst services I have ever had. Late response, adding on things i didn’t want…. . I only wanted my clutch cable to be replaced and my front break leveler as well. The day I dropped off the bikes I had written down on his computer what needs to be done on the bikes. After two weeks of not hearing from him he finally called me and had to ask me again what needs to be done. I explained it again and didn’t here from him for another two weeks. I called to figure out what’s taking so long but no one picked up then I waited another week just for him to tell me that the things i wanted to be done on the bikes wound fix anything even tho there was nothing to be fixed besides the clutch cable and break levler. My break was not the best but I didn’t want that to be fixed, my clutch was still fine and not grinded of or broken in any way. I told him again to just do the clutch cable and the break leveler. After that I wouldn’t hear from him another two weeks. Then he called and asked again I explained it again and was again told it wound fix anything. I told him to forget about it and I will be picking up the bikes. When I picked up the bikes he gave me a receipt where all the things that he said the bikes need were listed. Which was an amount of 2-3k. Which the bikes are almost not even worth anymore. So he just wanted to make more money of from me by not responding and always saying that wound fix anything so that I would agree on him adding more new parts and making more money.which are expensive since my bikes at also a little older. Which i understand since this is still a business and not only a mechanic shop. You want to make money but not by laying to your costumers. I guess the amount I would have paid for clutch cable and break leveler plus labor was not enough. The only good thing and the reason I choose this shop was that almost every other dirtbike/off-road vehicle mechanic around SLC wound take any vehicles that are older then 10 years. But considering what I went through with this shop I really don’t see any reason to go there again. I don’t want to talk the shop bad but this I what I experienced with them.

Was recently on a cross country ride and determine my rear tire needed to be changed. Since this was a timed event, I needed to get it done quickly. Justin and his team at Southpaw motorsports fixed me up quick and got me back on the road so fast, I didn’t think it was possible. The customer service I received when I was there was unmatched. I picked up a nail in the rear tire of my Yamaha FZ1, so I hadnt ridden in a couple weeks. When I called Southpaw they were able to fit me in and replace both tires the same day and get me back on the road quickly. I didn't have to schedule an appointment days or weeks in advance to get back riding. I really appreciate Southpaw's dedication to friendly customer service, quality work and fair prices. I’ve worked with a lot of companies in the past on getting my toys fixed and worked on, and there’s always that one problem I run into, it’s either corporate owned that don’t give a damn about the little man in this world, I’ve recently started going to southpaw motorsports and without a doubt it’s been the best service shop I’ve found, they’re super knowledgeable and friendly when It comes to what I need done, they’re super knowledgeable, never jerk me around on the price, or try to upsell me on what doesn’t need to be done. Update: Been able to ride my KX a few times, very aggressively I might add, and this thing absolutely rips. The bike is smooth as butter too, especially considering its an old two stroke with no counter balancing. It's obvious these guys know how to true and balance a crank extremely well. These guys did cylinder and crankshaft work on this 2004 KX 250 Two Stroke I've been working on since February. I haven't even fully broke in the engine yet, and the bike runs amazing. Highly recommend these guys, Justin and his team do an awesome job.
