Friendly and courteous staff. On time service and reasonably priced. The waiting lounge is clean with all the amenities you could possibly want and tidy restrooms.

Made an appointment for 10:15a, showed up at 10:10a, told it'll be an hour and 15 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later my vehicle was still waiting to go in. Fortunately I said something or would likely have been there all day. No communication on their part, just bs excuses. I'll be taking my truck and business elsewhere.

Service was amazingly fast. I called on a Friday afternoon and they were able to fix my car the same day! Staff was very nice and polite. Thank you very much!

They are always friendly and helpful. However, I was disappointed to find out that even though I had an appointment at 7:30am, the technicians don’t start work until 8:00am. So that defeats the purpose of getting in early to get the service done and getting to work on time.

Absolutely horrid since Tom left. Drop off with a 7:00 appointment time for an oil change and to check my blind spot monitor. Told them I'd pick it up at 10:00. No problem, except that they hadn't even started it. Apparently, they put drop-offs to the back of the line, no matter what. The owner told me its standard practice, and he's never had a complaint like this. His manager son blamed it on me for signing the order to get the work done, that had noon pickup automatically, even though I had first appointment and requested 10:00.

They're always fast and polite. I have gotten mixed into before that has ended up costing me more (on service packages) and recently the need for brakes (confusing info), prices are reasonable.

I called at 12:00 today for a service appointment. Spartan service had an opening at 1:00. By 2:00 they’d completed an oil change, tire rotation, and tire tread and brake wear inspection. Pretty cool service. Thanks so much, BD.

Quick, efficient oil change. Plenty of room to wait. Good coffee. Not sure why my auto setting on headlights always get set to off though. 3rd time when oil has been changed. I check now. Like that my car is washed.

All staff were very polite and helpful! I had tires rotated and ordered a new side mirror. The mirror came in within just two days and an appointment was scheduled. It only took about twenty minutes for the mirror to be replaced!

When I called to make the appointment the person on the phone was quite short and a little rude. I find spartan Toyota’s service department tend to be rude on the phone and just hang up on you. All of that has consistently happened to me in the past making me feel like they don’t have time for me. Although Micheal made up for is with his outstanding customer service when I showed up for my appointment.

Trusted professionals taking care of my car. I never feel they're trying to sell me unnecessary services. They're professional yet always make me feel like family. Cody, the service manager, has been my go to car guy for years. Very kniwledgeable and great at explaining auto stuff. Today my service rep was Alissa who handled things efficiently & pleasantly. I can't imagine trusting my vehicle to anyone else. They keep my 2012 Camry running like it was the day I bought it.

Brought my new highlander in for its first oil change, tech was very friendly and personable. Asked me if I was happy with my purchase and if I was hanging any issues with any features. Arrived at 10:30 for apt and was out by 11:10! Even included a car wash which I didn’t not expect! We will back for every maintenance need!

Haven’t ever been here because they never answer the phone. Looking for service on my Toyota but have called 3 separate days and the service phone line never answers. No other shop sends you to voicemail during business hours. Taking my business elsewhere.

I had a great experience at Spartan Toyota with my recent purchase of a 2018 Toyota Camry XSE. The process was smooth and stress-free from start to finish. Everyone was incredibly helpful, which made my first time buying a car from a dealership surprisingly easy. Special thanks to Gerry Sibanda and Duane Dorazio for their professionalism, transparency, friendliness, and outstanding customer service. They made everything simple and were an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

The service at Spartan has gone downhill over the past few years. I bought a Rav4 here because of the great service we received on our Prius. I was in the waiting room for an hour before I received a text on the suggested optional item to be completed. I should feel thankful that I actually received a text since the previous two times I did not. I really wish they would go back to having the person coming out to update you on the service. It was another hour before the work was done (oil changed, tire rotation). I could see my car in the completed line in the garage for over twenty minutes. Needless to say, since they do not value my time, I will not value their cars and not purchase a car from them again.

We got a 2nd opinion on recommended service. Their opinion was that the services were not needed until 100K miles. We have less than 30K. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because we DID need new tires, we purchased them elsewhere. Blessings, JoAnn S.

We were at Spartan Toyota in Lansing yesterday for service and were very pleased with our service person who waited on us. Appreciate your expertise and all you did to take care of us from start to end. Thank you Toyota for hiring people like the one we had The Klein’s

Took the car in for warranty related service. I already knew what the issue was and told the shop, still took them 2 days to diagnose nothing. I decided take the car back. I should state it was very nice of the service rep to waive my diagnostic fees. John was very kind and understanding of my frustration. Over the weekend, I decided to tackle the issue myself, since another Toyota service center is more than an hour away. I fixed the issue, and all it took was 2 hours of my time, little bit of WD-40, plastic washer that probably cost less than 10 cents, and my limited tools in the garage. I wasn't going to write the review since I have no intention of coming back here. But this level of stubbornness and incompetency of in-house mechanic has to be known for public goods, and maybe they will start listening to customers who actually knows what they are doing. But as this shop stands today, I would not take my car in here for any service.

This place has become an absolute scam. I brought my car in due to a dead TPMS sensor. Upon arrival, after telling them I believed that it was the sensor causing the issue, but not knowing which sensor it was (as each tire has its own), I was told there would be a $170 diagnostic fee. After waiting about an hour, they sent me a text with a new invoice. There was no inspection report or information other than "General concern $437" and "diagnostic fee $170". I talked with the service advisor who then told me two of my sensors were out, and that the diagnostic fee no longer goes towards the repair costs as it had done previously in the past. So to get 2 sensors replaced I was looking at a bill of $607 in total. I called around and found the place next door was able to do it for $65 per sensor and a 6 year garuntee. So I declined the service, and despite getting nothing done, I was still made to pay $197 for the diagnostic fee ($170) and $25 "misc" (when I asked I was told it was a fee for dirty rags and other things on the service floor). I asked what sensors were out, and the guy checking me out couldn't tell me (nor was he going to tell me despite having just paid $200 for such information), had to go back and ask, and then told me the wrong information (when I went to the other place, who took 2 seconds and scanned it for free, told me different from what the Toyota guy had). I want to emphasize that to scan the sensors they simply have to hold up a small device to the tire and it scans it automatically. There is no labor other than crouching down to hold the device next to the tires. So the $200 price tag for literally nothing was absolutely unnecessary and a cash grab. I am a student at MSU, and have brought my car here several times in the past for basic maintenance/specific concerns, everytime in the past the diagnosis fee has either been waved or gone towards the repair costs. I would not recommend anyone go here unless you are looking to burn a hole in your pocket for nothing in return.

Went in for scheduled maintenance and John was very helpful and friendly. Had a really good experience with the online scheduling which pulled up my maintenance plans automatically using my vin. Service was quick and hassle free!
