I have using Speedy for at least 15 yrs. Love the attitude and attention to details. It seems like the enthusiasm they once instilled in their employees is missing. I know it’s not the most glamorous job but pride in everything we do is so important and it’s also recognized by the customers. Maybe an incentive program could boost the moral. I still like going because it’s easy for me to drive in and out but a couple yrs ago it was just different.

Back story is I was a service advisor for three years and logged hundreds and hundreds of oil changes. I chose their $119 option, for an oil change and my bill was slightly less than $150. What they do is tac on some fees and double dip on charging for an oil filter. The $119 on their website and banner explicitly state oil and oil filter change. Never did I ever state as an advisor that the price doesn’t include an oil filter. I also called around a few spots afterwards and found that the other places don’t do this. I hope some people find this review helpful and it costs them more than their oil filter scam.

UPDATE Location is under new ownership. Bad change. It was obvious from the moment I drove up that the place had gone down. I moved out of Vacaville but still drove up here because they use to be great. They use to be honest and efficient. Not honest or efficient anymore. Service went way down. I'm really actually upset about it. Been coming here for years. I am open to recommendations on a new oil change place if anyone has one. Thank you Been going here for years. They are friendly and do fast work. Price is standard. Get a $10 off coupon online. They pointed out a transmission leak for free. Too bad I had just paid someone else $200 to tell me about it. Next time I'll get my oil changed before going to the shop.

I go to speedee for all my oil change and smog test needs. I cannot recommend them enough. They are quick, friendly and get me on my way in no time. They have both indoor and outdoor seating /waiting and that works for my needs.

My experience was excellent. Needed oil change only. The SpeeDee team was quick, friendly and clean. The estimate was pretty accurate and paid $50 less than a local competitor (QL) for an oil change only for Dodge Power wagon 7 qts synthetic.

To make a long story short, my husband took my car in for an oil change, left with the car smelling like fumes. Thought maybe it was nothing to be concerned about. A week later and we finally pop the hood to realize whoever did our oil change never put the cap back on, so my car has been spitting oil out and I’m surprised my car didn’t catch fire or something due to their negligence. Called to figure something out, and they said they’d call me back after checking the cameras. Never got a call back and still waiting on a refund.

I’ve been going here for a couple years with no problems. To put it simple I got off of work at 7am because I work graveyard shift, to find a pool of oil under my Ford Fusion. I instantly was worried i blew my engine because of the way I drive. I topped off the oil with the quart I had in my trunk in case of emergencies and I ended up using the whole thing. Drove to the nearest mechanic that was open and was told my oil filter was nearly falling off. I’ve noticed a ton of horrible reviews lately I guess I should have listened when they say never go to a quick change place to get your car worked on. If this car gets destroyed I’m probably going to loose my job because of how far it is. I will not be going to a quick stop ever again. Don’t give me one of those default responses either, it’s worse than not even saying anything. From how many reviews I’ve read this business has put numerous peoples lives in danger regarding lie’s about brake pads being completely worn or leaving oil caps off leaving a fire hazard. I’ve worked at a Spee Dee in South San Francisco before and I’ve never seen this. Your guys actions are borderline cynical.
