As I waited for my car I witness the lady at the front desk go out of her way to figure out who left a book here in their lobby. She got ahold of them and assured they would keep the boom safe. We came in for an oil change. We were greeted promptly by a friendly associate. The service was professionally done. A couple of things were suggested to be replaced which I had already figured they were needed. Everything was completed in a timely manner. Our vehicle was clean when brought out. These guys are the best! I tried to go to another place, but they said I needed to get there by 3:45 cause their guy already left. The place next door had a computer down, so I ended up at SpeeDee and it was a good thing. These guys are pros! Efficient, professional and friendly. They even gave me a nice holder for my NC registration and insurance card that holds everything together. I’ve brought my other vehicles in my household too and everyone has a great experience. First class experience in a relaxed and friendly environment. Totally recommend!

Took the XJR in for an inspection, it passed inspection. The mechanic graham, stated “this thing had a leaky engine when you brought it in years ago but you got it all sorted out there’s not a leak anywhere on it!” The car wouldn’t turn over after it passed inspection, so graham suggested he do a diagnostic and he suspected the starter was the issue. He called me later in the day, stating the starter had gone bad and said he could have it replaced by the next business day for $1000. The next day he says the car is ready, I go to pick it up, he states “nothing about working on jaguars is easy!” Yet he had an exceptional turn around time getting the new starter installed suggesting it must have been quite easy as normally these cars take time to work on. The car had a check engine light come on the way home, I checked the engine bay and there is leaking oil from multiple gaskets and the coolant is low. Noting this, I decided not to drive the car until the coolant and oil had been changed and leaks sorted. I was going to change the oil today and sort out the leaks, but the car wouldn’t start. Refused to crank and turn over exactly like it did before the new starter was installed. Of course the new starter is under warranty and I could send it back to speedee to have you replace the part you installed, however based on the check engine light, the new leaks that developed while the car was at speedee, I am not going to take it back to yall. I would like a refund. You didn’t return the car to me in the same state I gave it to you. It had no leaks, graham said it himself. Now I have to get the leaks sorted and install the correct starter at a more trustworthy shop that doesn’t rush jobs they find difficult. Nothing about this experience seemed right to me. I’m not gonna get my car inspected at speedee ever again. You lost my business and my mothers business. I would like a refund and will be happy to provide you with receipts for the repairs the cars now needs after visiting your shop.

This mechanic shop was referred to me by a friend/coworker..he told me 'they was pricey","but well worth it"..well let me tell you,they definitely are!!driving a Subaru, options are plentiful here in Asheville..I went to a few shops around town(Subaru's R us, Prestige Subaru, Allen's gulf)..decide to go w/SpeeDee's..Graham & the rest of the staff there were very courteous,insightful & kept me updated on my vehicles progress..in the end,I saved $$ & 100% satisfied with the work that was done..A very,very honest place,bottom line..thanks to the entire staff @ SpeeDee's..

So I came in for an inspection only. No oil change. I see them in the passenger side of the car. NO REASON for them to be there for a NC inspection. Then the guy comes out and asks if he can speak with me for a minute. My cat was just at the dealership for an oil change , so i knew the scam was coming. I said, no and that I came for an inspection only. Then I saw him putting my cabin filter back where he got it from behind the glove box. He saw an older woman and thought he had an easy mark with a "dirty" filter. Women: beware of these dishonest and predatory tactics. I won't go back there. Shame on you!

Maintaining an older car (2002 Rav4) is a partnership between owner and mechanic. Graham and the whole crew at Speedee have been super helpful and straight-forward over the years. I like being able to talk to the mechanics directly about issues, and they have always been very attentive to my descriptions of what the car is doing. I also like the Speedee credit card that let's me pay off over six months with no interest.

We stopped in to get a standard oil change with mobile 1. Standard full synthetic oil change should have been 80 - 90. In the end they charged us $120 for 5 qts of mobile 1, 10 for the oil filter, 45 for an air filter. $190 bucks for a standard $89 dollar oil change? We got robbed. Some serious sketchy side hustle going on here. Do not recommend them. You should check your credit card receipts before you make a bilind statement like your response. Serious scam business. If you need me to post a picture of the receipts I absolutely will. Disgraceful

I had such an amazing Experience here! The entire TEAM was great, but my hat goes off to Kenny who was such a BIG help. We had a flat tire that could not be changed, due to the lug nuts being too tight / cross threaded. Kenny worked to get the tire off, replaced the damaged studs, got us a new tire, and got us back on the road. They helped us the SAME DAY, and helped me feel very cared for! I thank The Good Lord for this mechanic!
