Stroman was formerly Maurer Goodyear. Craig owns it now and was with Maurer when I started going there in 1979. It's the same honest, reliable, friendly service. This is the only place that I trust. I drove on four bad tires from downtown Kansas City to Stroman's because I know that they're honest. This is the best auto place in Olathe and perhaps around.

I have been using Maurer (now Stroman) to service my older vehicles for years. They are knowledgeable, honest, and call to explain the needed repair and costs before proceeding. At times, they have diagnosed problems, and I have chosen to do the repairs myself. Their fee for this is very reasonable, and they don't get upset. When the repairs are too much for me, they do a good job, stand behind their work, and their fees are competitive. Most importantly, they are honest. You can trust Craig and the crew at Maurer.

I was impressed with my experience from start to finish. From the moment I called for an alignment appointment to paying for the service. I was welcomed into the shop and treated with respect. They estimated an hour service time and they promptly called me within the hour to let me know the vehicle was ready. They do their best to make sure that everything is right with your car and I really appreciate that. Took my van in to have a flat tire repaired. Jake was kind and extremely helpful. When the tire wasn’t able to be repaired he made sure to have me come out to see the damage to the tire. He worked hard to help get my tires replaced in a quick manner. Absolutely great service and will be coming back in the future.

WOMEN DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. My friend went here, she asked for one light fix and oil change. She comes back to so much more than that, no call to ask her for permission, because “they made the decision” (on her car?!🙄) nothing else they did even was an issue. Her other lights were fine. Customer service was terrible and she was treated disrespectfully. I do not support the actions from this company.

I've had good service through these guys before but their last job left a bad impression. They have installed my trunk struts backwards and it wouldn't keep the trunk up properly. I had also notice that they had scratched my brand new tint that I had put on my back window and my trunk. I just decided to go to another shop to get the job done if these guys couldn't put on trunk struts right and charge an arm and leg for it. All in all just very disappointing service.

I would leave this place 6 stars if I could. Every single time without question I can trust what the father/son team of Craig and Jake (and any of their staff) say and do. They just fixed a complicated issue with no problem for me. I also like how they have lifetime rotate and balance plans for tires they sell and good year credit card perks. Keep up the great work because these cars aren't getting any simpler.
