Due to mechanical problems, i’ve had to visit this gas station unexpectedly, and during early morning hours, and they are always friendly. Tonight, my friend and I had to pull the car over due to it overheating, and the gentleman inside at the store was very kind and gave us some water for her radiator. Thanks and kudos to these folks! 😁

I recently visited Sunoco and was deeply disappointed by their lack of communication. After gathering several items, I was about to get more when the cashier abruptly asked how I was paying. Only then did he inform me their EBT system was down—a fact that had been true for two to three days. It was embarrassing and frustrating, especially given the cold weather and lack of nearby options. Stores should inform customers of such issues upfront and fix them promptly. I plan to report this to the relevant authorities to ensure better service in the future.

I work two blocks over and frequent this gas station almost daily. I only ever see the one cashier, but he’s a wonderful member of our community who is kind to our often overlooked community members who are unhoused and mentally ill. No matter how patrons treat the cashier, he’s kind and respectful in response, and shows so much compassion to patrons who need it. The store is always fully stocked and tidy, but the primary reason I get gas at this location is because of how the cashier treats his customers. If someone is short on funds, he steps up and pays the rest out of his own pocket. If someone is upset and taking their bad day out on him, he shows only love in response and tries to help the person feel better. Even though it can be a rough area sometimes, I specifically make a point to stop and spend my money at this Sunoco because of how the cashier treats members of his community - with dignity and understanding and kindness. If you like to support good people who try to make a positive difference in their community, definitely go get gas and buy some snackies at this Sunoco.
