This place was fantastic. I was a master mechanic for 15 years and left the industry. I had a check engine light come on that needed a scan tool that I didn't have to perform the relearn. I was nervous about bringing my car anywhere because its hard to find trust worthy mechanics who do good work. They took care of my car no problem and fixed a few other issues for me. He even helped me out and adjusted my clutch for no cost because it was grabbing to close to the floor and I just hadn't gotten around to fixing it yet. They really went above an beyond and made sure my car was running and driving flawlessly when it left. The pricing was very fair too and they worked with me to get me out as cheap as we could. Overall 10/10 experience. I will certainly be taking any of my cars to them in the future and I highly recommend you do too.

All auto repairs are expensive. You’re paying for a persons expertise and experience and even education in most but maybe not all cases. There is a lot that goes into being able to disassemble a car, especially a modern one, and reassemble in a timely manner. Nobody can do what these guys do, without the training they have. So while it may seem like you’re paying a ton of labor to replace a cheap part, you’re actually getting a whole lot more. It can be hard to handle the burden of a severe cost but that’s why you have the option of choosing to fix or not. All of our choices should be ours. Imagine if legislators decided to pass a bill to force people to repair their cars! All of a sudden there would be an uprising “my car my choice!” No doubt! Satire of course, anyway, T&T took care of us, for that I am grateful. Thank you!

We were faced with an overheated Subaru (resulting in head & hose damage ) day two of our freshman daughter arriving at UNCW. After careful research and local advice we took her car to T&T. They provided top notch customer support and kept us informed on the results/progress continuously! Our daughter just got her car back and everything runs great. We’re grateful for their experience, their support and their fair pricing. Donna is great, so understanding and helpful! She was our point of contact, she made us aware, informed and did so very compassionately and professionally. Hopefully we won’t have to deal with any other major car troubles but it’s nice knowing a “go to” and someone locally for basic car maintenance too. Thank you T&T!

The T&T team did a great job! Friendly and knowledgeable with fair prices. Took care of changing out the timing belt, water pump, and thermostat on my son's Highlander. Plus found and fixed the vacuum leak that was throwing a lean code. And worked all day on Christmas Eve to finish the job. Highly recommend!

My check engine light started flashing on a Friday night and I had no idea where to go to get it looked at since I just moved here. I luckily received an ad in the mail for T&T and decided to give them a try. I left a voicemail on Sunday explaining the problem, and was very pleased that they reached out as soon as they opened Monday morning. They got me in quickly, explained the diagnosis, provided a quote right away, and completed the repair the same day. The price of the repair seemed reasonable, especially because they offer a 3-year warranty and communicated clearly. Glad I was able to find a reliable auto shop that I can trust with my car. Will definitely support this company again!

Can’t say enough good things about T & T Automotive. Took in my 2013 Subaru Outback 3.6R with ~170k miles for an oil service and to check a concern with brakes and an abnormal noise. T&T quickly diagnosed the issues and clearly communicated the issues, costs and timing of repairs. They stayed in touch with progress and let me know promptly when the car was ready. All fixed and all good to go now. I believe the cost was reasonable and fair. I highly recommend T&T. They do a lot of work for Subaru’s and are well versed on the peculiarities of the brand.

$1,000 cheaper rear differential...mysterious noises gone! I love my used 2009 Toyota Rav4 I've had since 2012, but a few months ago it started making even more mysterious noises. I had been on the fence about getting a newer used Rav4 since mine has 180K miles...but I love my car! I went to the mechanic shop I usually go to, and they quoted me over $2K for the rear differential replacement, this is after I had another costly work done for another issue I thought was causing the noise. Based on the repair cost I thought it would be time to look into a newer car, which I wound up purchasing through Carvana, but when I went to test drive, it did not feel/sound right so I was able to get my car back. I decided to get a second opinion/cost estimate. I found T&T through Google search and saw they specialize in foreign cars, especially Toyota. I was so happy they found a better/less expensive rear differential part and was able to do the job for $1,000 less! I also had some other work done just to get it in better driving shape so I can continue to keep my car as long as I can :) They were able to fix at no cost other odd sounds my car was making. Plus you get cookies with your bill, cookies make everything better. Happy to have T&T as my new mechanic.

Very friendly lady who helped be set up my appointment for an oil change. The service was quick and I trust that they did the job well when it was finished, they sent me out with an air freshener, a coupon for $10 off my next service, another offer for a free oil change (4 services and the 5th will be free), aaannd 2 chocolate chip cookies!!! I was very satisfied and even impressed! I will definitely be returning here for my next service on my Honda HRV. Highly recommend!
