I'm glad this opportunity to survey popped up. I am used to being shunned whenever I have a feeling. No amount of drugs has worked. Only spiritual blah blah blah... I have to take care of myself like get my oil changed sooner or later... At this place I found I got my oil changed and the employees have always treated me so kindly. I had a real deep healing sesh in their bay. It's so embarrassing that everyone has been so scared and sad. I've been like a toddler and supposed to be the teacher. And just .. I want to thank them because when they "ignored me" they met me with new eyes. I'll put Maya's name bc I remember it right now. In case they get a treat. The people. They're good people Of course they did it great and sprained it to me. This was all that one guys fault

Fast, knowledgeable technicians that were transparent from the beginning with my oil change. Very polite, and with reasonable prices & package deals. You may have to manually reset your oil indicator, if not accessible through dash menu like on newer cars. Easily found on the web or youtube.com.

Needed a quick lil change done and had heard good things about this place. I was instantly greeted by a worker and offered water and was quickly taken into a bay to have service done. I was there not even 30 minutes and had my oil changed, air filter replaced, tires checked, washer fluid topped- I was not expecting such fast and efficient service. Was cheaper than the dealership I used to go to also. Great experience, the assistant manager was great and the other 2 techs were great too. Will be coming here again!

Far pricier than you would get at a mechanic or dealership - I paid $93 for premium oil and they upcharged me $13 for an oil filter "specific to my car". If there's even a 2-3 car line, you will wait for 60-90 minutes. Convenient if it's your only option in town and you need a change done in a hurry, but I personally would never go back.

With a busy family and work schedule, Is where I prefer her to go for a loyal change. The staff is always kind professional and speedy. I appreciate the time I get back in my day. At one time this Task used to take three hours at a dealership now I’m out and about 15 to 20 minutes.

I had an An oil filter and oil change at first I thought the price was a little steep, but, After my experience, I think the price is perfect. You get to sit in your car while your oil is being changed and they let you know exactly what they’re doing while they’re doing it and you actually get to see it for yourself, I did not feel like I was being lied to, They were very knowledgeable very friendly, I Have highly recommended this place to my friends, And I will be returning when it’s time for an oil change. Oh, also they send you some coupons for your next oil change, I am very pleased!

If I could give 10 stars, I really would. It cost little less than what I pay at McGrath Volkswagen for my oil change. They also keep my filters on hand which I've been told by multiple places they don't have them. Amazing customer service and very fast! The kids were happy with their complimentary fruit snacks. They also inadvertently fixed my issue of my engine temp not getting very hot in the winter by replacing my plug gasket, which has been overlooked by multiple places for a year and a half now. We will definitely be back!!! Great job guys, keep being awesome!😁

I decided to give this Take 5 a chance because my neighbor told me that they were really great with her and her family’s vehicles. Let me make it clear that I am only giving the employees and the service the five stars. Olivia, Aidan and Chance were so very nice and helpful. They answered all my questions and only recommended things that I needed. They didn’t try and upsell me like other places do. So to them, they get 5 stars!! If I could give whoever is responsible for the heat zero stars, I definitely would!! These poor kids were shivering so badly when they were talking to me that I could barely understand them. I could not imagine working in these conditions with little to no heat in there like that. I would like to have the corporate number so that I can escalate this situation further. I’ll be contacting the Manager for this location tomorrow as well.

My review is for the service and especially the technicians. I've been here a couple of times and it's literally in and out. Im just right there in my car while they are doing their thing. I would like to give a huge thumbs up to the employees, though. They are efficient, precise, informative, and thoughtful. There is a younger girl who works there who is really impressive with her knowledge and skill and Ill keep coming back, even if it was just for her. Thank you! Could not recommend enough.

I’ve been here many times, but this review is mainly for two specific techs—unfortunately, I don’t remember their names. First, the tech who brought me water explained they wouldn’t be able to take a truck since it was so cold outside and they would need to close the bay doors. I completely understood; I wouldn’t want to freeze while working either. However, my truck has a short bed, and the doors have closed behind me before. I mentioned this to him, and he graciously agreed to give it a try. Success! The doors closed, and they got right to work. Second was my experience with the “youngest tech in the company.” He was thorough and perceptive, and quickly picked up that I’m not a customer who needs their hand held through the process, so to speak—which, as a female, I immensely appreciate. Usually, even when people are professional and kind, I’m treated like I’m mechanically ignorant and need everything over-explained. All in all, this specific location is the only place I’ll bring my vehicle for standard services. I know what I’m getting when I come here, and the prices are always reasonable. Big shout-out to all the techs working in negative temperatures all day.

My experience with the Take5 oil change center in South Cedar Rapids was amazing! Ryan and Olivia were both extremely nice and helpful! They made me feel like I actually mattered to them. And you don’t get that kind of service anymore. My nephew Jeffrey took me to get my oil changed before he leaves to go back to Oregon because he didn’t want me to get taken advantage of. My nephew is an auto mechanic so Ryan and my nephew explained to me everything that they were doing. And I even learned that my car is equipped with a Cabin Filter that filters the air coming in through my vents when I am using the Air Conditioning and heater. And when Ryan replaced it, I couldn’t believe how dirty it was. I would have never guessed that my car is equipped with this filter. And we were in and out in under 20 minutes. I had such a great experience at Take 5 Oil Change thanks to Devon (Hood), Chance (Pit), and Ryan (Safety, Service Writer & MoD). From the second I pulled up, the energy was professional, friendly, and efficient. Devon was on top of everything under the hood — quick, knowledgeable, and made sure I understood what was going on without trying to upsell me on things I didn’t need. Chance in the pit was just as impressive, you can tell he takes pride in his work and moves with purpose. The teamwork between those two was seamless. And Ryan? Absolute standout. Balancing safety, service writing, and managing the drive and still making customers feel taken care of is no small task. He kept everything running smoothly while making sure I felt comfortable and informed the entire time. Fast, honest, professional service with great attitudes all around. This crew really sets the standard. I’ll definitely be back and recommending this location to everyone I know! 👏🔥
