I like coming here for pricing and location. But....I truly miss take 5 being a in and out service. Now they have very little staff and you have to wait over 30 minutes. They literally offer you things you don't even need just to make an extra dollar. Also strongly don't like when they just open my passenger door to check the filter, without asking if they can be in my car or not. 🤷♀️

I’ve been here several times. This last time was disappointing. It took TWO HOURS. No communication. Asked them to air up my tires and allegedly they couldn’t due to me having metal caps. Which I could have removed for them? Tried up-charging/selling on everything. Wanted to just hurry up and go because it was a ridiculous wait time. I got an oil change - even with a $20 coupon it was $85+. Probably won’t go here again.

Overpaid. Left and found check engine light came on. Went to AutoZone and found O2 sensor errors. Went to another nearby take 5 and a much better employee found that the previously place in College Station did not even put my intake cover on and a hose. I was very thankful for them to find this simple mistake that really shouldn’t have happened as that’s the bare minimum. Went back to the original place and let them know and showed pictures. All they offered was 50% off my next service. Crazy

The people were really nice! But the day after I went, my check engine light came on and had to get my air filter sensor replaced. Not a coincidence that the day after I go to a new place that my car has issues. They must have broken something, or not put something back correctly, so it was then on me to pay even more money on something they caused. Will not go back again.

I had an awesome experience here at Take 5 Oil change. The team was responsive and attentive. I had to wait about 5 minutes and was offered a water straight away while I waited. Then I was directed into the first open bay and within 20 minutes I had fresh oil, a clean windshield, a clean interior air filter and such polite service people. The team was like ants on a Fritos- everyone knew their role and they communicated amongst themselves too. I recommend this location.

Horrible service, broke a part and don’t want to replace it, told me it would take an hour which ended up being three (I told them I was on a time crunch), and didn't even put the engine air filter correctly (crammed it inside as they couldn’t open it). I came here a couple of months ago for an oil change. I decided to change the engine air filter. This was proven to be difficult for the guys changing it as they could not get the part out and ended up yanking it out. I audibly heard something break. They told me they broke a part and told me to come a couple weeks laters when that part arrived as they had to order it. I called after they left a voicemail saying the part hadn’t arrived yet and they told me they had no record of them breaking anything. Now I have a broken part in my car that they do not want to change. Do not recommend.

It was good until I tried using my windshield wipers and there was no wiper fluid. I paid close to $350 in total repairs and they told me they topped it off. I was very upset not only that I had a $25 off coupon that they didn’t give me a chance to use, they didn’t even tell me they had ran my card yet.

I wasn't impressed whatsoever. It took longer than expected. It was two vehicles ahead of me in the left bay. There was a new Mexican guy working that did not know what he was doing. I will not be returning. I got an oil change and air filter. I've gotten my oil changed at BCS Toyota for much less.

The experience was a lot longer than normal. I waited in line behind one car for about 30 min before I was seen. They did not clean my windshield or check my wipers and I had to ask to put a sticker on the windshield.

Right off the bat they're trying to sell me a radiator flush. When I got the oil change theyrefused to add any more radiator fluid they didn't want to mix it. ???Which is BS. I was on my way to Houston and I needed all my fluids filled they filled none of them. Also I asked for the cheapest oil and they gave me the $89 one instead of the $50 one. In addition to all that they showed me my air filter and said it was all clogged up which was in reality had 50% of its life left. Clearly the policies there are to take advantage of the customer. Not a trusted source of automotive care. !!.will never return again, and I also will tell anyone who will listen not to go there as well. and I felt like they were trying to hustle me on everything.

Take 5 USE to be my go to. I was a FREQUENT customer. I recently got an oil change on 10/17 and today 11/1 ( TWO WEEKS later ) I have oil EVERYWHERE under my hood and have no oil left. I called to speak with a manager and it took 2 hours for someone to respond! When I was there (10/17) I noticed one of the workers changing the oil was on his phone working on the car next to me!!! So now I’m pretty sure he was distracted while working on my car. I “can’t” receive a refund because I had to fix their issue and didn’t wait for them to fix it. (Why would I?? there shouldn’t have been an issue ) 0/10 recommend the convenience isn’t worth the damage to your vehicle!!! ** Also while voicing my concern the manager said I was being “argumentative” ????? Very unprofessional and sexist!

The guys were friendly, professional, and fast. But can we just have a $5 fast pass fee to skip the hard sell on the air filters and coolant and everything? The manager needs to give them discretion because it's kind of awkward when they show you a bone white air filter saying it needs to be replaced and when you say no thank you they immediately offer a discount. The techs are great, but management could do better.

I came here only for an oil change. While I was there, the techs suggested I get a coolant flush because they saw a little smoke around the oil fill area. I’m not a mechanic, so I trusted their recommendation. The price for the flush ended up being extremely high, and they said they had to add multiple gallons of coolant, which seemed strange but I assumed they knew what they were doing. Soon after leaving, the situation became much worse. I drove to work and after only about 5 miles my car started smoking badly from the radiator area. I had to leave work early, and on the way to try to get home my car completely overheated and died in the street. I ended up stuck at a gas station and strangers had to help me tow my car back to my apartment. When I finally got home, I opened the hood and took parts off to see what was going on. That’s when I found the real issue: the plastic radiator neck where the upper hose connects was cracked and leaking coolant. I had no idea this was the problem — I relied on the shop to warn me if something was wrong. If I knew there was a leak or a damaged part, I never would’ve approved a coolant flush. I went back to talk to them in person, and they told me they aren’t responsible for checking for leaks or pointing out other issues before doing the service — only for performing the flush itself. They also said they do not refund once the work is done. As someone who isn’t a mechanic, I trusted their suggestion and ended up with a worse problem, lost work time, got stranded, and had to deal with the mess on my own. Very disappointing experience, and I hope others are cautious when coming here. On top of all this had my information incorrect didn't give me a sticker for my next upcoming oil change for the future too as well ridiculous very disappointing.

I normally love going here and have for YEARS. My last oil change was Saturday 9/27. They blatantly lied about my car’s coolant being “bone dry” apparently they thought we were idiots. They of course recommend a service they offer. We declined. We checked the coolant after we left…it was low, not “BONE DRY” mind you if it had been my car would have overheated on our 45 minute drive into town. We got coolant for $10 and it didn’t even take half the bottle. Will NOT be going back. I do NOT like being lied to.

Quick, friendly and they seem to know what they are doing. Every other oil change shop I’ve tried has either run out of the right oil or hasn’t had the right filter but Take 5 has come through every time for me. Also not as aggressive with upselling maintenance as jiffy lube.

Nobody talked to me about what service I wanted they just started working and draining my oil. It would have been nice to know the price of the service prior to them starting work. They also tried to tell me that a brand new air filter was very dirty and needed replacement, it look like it was fresh out of the box.

The staff are very welcoming. I came to change my oil and filter, and my tyre pressure was checked ✅. They speak to you so nicely and listen to you attentively to answer your questions as a first time comer live me. After I changed my oil, I can feel a difference how my engine sound. It sound so great and the steering feels more comfortable. All the staff there earned my 5 🌟 because they are good at what they do 💯 Highly recommended.

Overall my experience with the 2 gentleman working was a 10/10! I’m giving it a 3 stars because I waited an hour in total for an oil change due to only 2 people working on Sunday! The guys were working their butt off, but I didn’t get any thing done besides the oil change. No wiper fluid filled, tries weren’t checks until I asked them to, they didn’t check my wiper and letting me know if I need new ones. I didn’t complain much to the guys because I know they had a long line, but it would have been nice for an extra person or 2 there. Definitely won’t be going back on a Sunday. Management needs to do better about staffing
