I went to Ted Weins for a oil change and smog test. Plus I have been going to them for years. I bought tires from them a couple years ago and had them filled with nitrogen gas. I have been pleased with the friendliness of the staff and service. They go above and beyond.

I brought my daughter’s car in to have a noise checked out. The staff (Peter/Chris) were kind and understanding of her situation. We did not fix the car as the car was not worth it, but if circumstances were different we absolutely would have worked with them!

I had an appointment for 4-5pm for a wheel alignment, but their tech gets off at 4:30pm and was told that they were 3 hours behind. I don't understand why they even have a schedule an appointment option. It was a complete waste of my time. I don't recommend them.

We're do I start. 960 bill for a tow and a 63 dollar part. You knew had a leak but never checked the antifreeze and sent it home with me empty. 149 bucks to do a 5 minute battery change. You come up with 7 things that need addressed but can't check the things that needed. Never will I come there again. And will make sure none of my friends do either. Sad most of you guys were nice but work and price sucked

Very fast servuce and nice people. The front desk guy who helped me, I cant remember his name for the life of me, was particularly helpful. I had to come here because I blew a tire on the freeway and it was the closest tire shop and I feel I lucked out.

Christopher was very helpful. As soon as I came in he greeted me. I needed alot of maintenance work done on my car. He assured me he would figure out exactly what I need and let me know the estimate. I came in at 7am and dropped it off. He said it will be ready the next day. Ended up being ready 3pm same day and costing lower then it was estimated. I am very grateful for having found this place. Great customer service and efficient employees.

It's not my fault that the company I ordered the wheels from has false advertising and they don't match the diameter as offset to my wheel studs. I'm battling it out with the wheel company but to tell me they still charged me full charge as wheel installation when we couldn't get the wheels installed after the fact I waited in that lobby for 4 hrs for service and it's more to the fact I paid $203 for full installation on wheels that we couldn't even install. What amazes me I used two freaking auto places out here already over greed and no services done as agreed. I'm just very frustrated when times like this and the veterans affairs has this company listed to exchange services with but if your honorable I can pick up a freaking wheel myself to see it doesn't match the studs. It's just how they still charged me the $203 then to tell me they would have to charge me again afterwards when I get the correct wheels the same freaking fees just to install the right wheels. Like what kinda horse crap is happening in this city. Like every freaking auto place you run into just wants money for services that never got done. Yea, I get they put tires on the wheels and I would pay for that but to pay for a wheel installation that never happened anyway. Is it my fault they didn't match the wheel to the studs to see if they're correct. They even had 4 freaking hours I wasted sitting in that shop for them to do that. I believe I was extremely patient enough. I am from the south not just military but never in my life I been treated like this till I moved to Vegas and constantly it's pay up for services that are half done. So if we couldn't do the installation then why did I have to pay for the installation as well. Make it math out correctly and make sense because putting one wheel up to see it doesn't line up isn't full service. What gets me more mad is the fact he had the nerve to tell me we would have to charge for another wheel installation. The wheels was never installed in the first place. This is typical Las Vegas. Oh oil changes are not $175 for a diesel I can spend $48 and install the oil myself on my truck. I couldn't believe they wanted $175 for a oil change. Only reason I came here was the I used the patriot store to get my tires but I definitely do not recommend this place. $203 for installation for wheels I couldn't get installed is greedy and not honorable by any means. I paid for service that I should've been most charged $20 a wheel just by putting the tires on the wheels. So $80 the most the rest of the service was not completed since the wheels was never installed but after I get the right wheels we will charge you again to rest all wheels that's never been installed is wild to me then expect respect or any honor charging military people or people in general like that for greed. Just be honest that is my issue. I had a lot of anger and glad I walked out of that place. Glad there is a gym to blow off my steam because I'm sick of people like this.

Went to get my Fiat brakes done and must say, the customer service here is amazing. Ryan Green helped us tremendously and talk about professional and courteous service with a smile. Since Covid, times have been really tough financially and every penny saved is greatly appreciated. Well, the staff here did everything possible to get the job done and also worked with me to get a package just right. My brakes and rotors are no longer screeching like a hyena and now purring like a kitten. The wait room was also cozy. Fresh coffee, vending machines, the news :-) I highly recommend this place. East Craig Road location. Las Vegas, Nevada.

DIY guy here. I stopped by after installing new coilovers, ball joints and all rear suspension parts for my lifted 2009 4x4 Tacoma. Cabrina checked me in quickly and was very courteous and professional. The techs that worked on my alignment were very thorough and got everything lined out including centering my steering wheel. I've been getting periodic alignments since I have begun driving and nobody else has ever centered my steering wheel. If taking the time to write a long review on my phone doesn't stress it enough, I'm beyond pleased and would highly recommend anyone to visit Ted Wiens. Btw their facility was clean when I visited and also, they offer military discounts. Thank you again, you guys rock!

I've been bringing my 2007 Dodge Ram to the Craig Rd location for a little over 2 years now. Basically out of convenience because I work a block away. It started in 2021 when I needed a smog test and my check engine light was on. I remember my truck being there a couple of days and some $1500 later, my truck passed smog. Less than a week later check engine light back on. Move forward to July of 2022, same scenario, needed a smog cert and check engine light was on. Now it cost $1700, passed smog and check engine light came on within a week plus I was leaking fuel . Took it back in. Needed a fuel pump. Dumb luck, right. I had also had new rotars and brakes done in May of 2022 so I'm up to over $5000 to Ted Weins in a little over a year. Brought back for this years smog check and the clipped me for another $2700 including a gas cap that they charged me $78 for. Really? Plus they blew my tire out and said it was on me to get it fixed and they wrote a comprehensive list of other things they recommended including new rotars when they told me I still had wear left on my front pads and was told I had a some time before I needed pads. I was not happy to say the least and voiced my displeasure but later apologized in fear of them screwing me any further. I get the feeling they purposely raked me over the coals in hopes that I never come back. To top it all off, they had my truck 7 days on this recent visit and my check engine light is on again. Needless to say, I will never go back and my next action is to file a complaint with the BBB and the Nevada Attorney Generals office. I highly recommend that you DON'T take your vehicle to the Craig Rd location.

We had such a positive experience with Ted Wiens. We had a mechanical issue with our truck on a Friday evening. Our camper was on it. The mechanic jumped on the problem right away Saturday morning. He was able to get the truck rolling and we removed the camper and dropped it in the lot. They let us stay there for 4 nights while they fixed the problem. If there was a 6 star rating they would get it!

I brought my 2018 Ford Escape to Firestone after a battery replacement left the car in "limp mode" with a check engine light on. All it needed was a Battery Monitoring System (BMS) reset, a standard 15-minute procedure with a scan tool. Firestone charged me $220 for that reset alone. That felt excessive, but the real issue began afterward. They told me my check engine light was on due to a "bad fuel pump" citing "low pressure." When I asked for the actual PSI reading, they couldn't provide a number. They then gave me a vague quote that sounded like ~$500, but when I pressed for the total, they stated $1,600 for the repair. I declined and took my car to a trusted independent shop. They found the real problem immediately: a broken electrical plug on the fuel system, not a failed pump. They fixed it for less than half of Firestone's lowest estimate. This raises serious concerns: Overcharging: $220 for a basic computer reset is unjustifiable. Misdiagnosis: They jumped to the most expensive possible repair without basic diagnostics. Transparency: They could not provide data (PSI readings) to support their claim and gave evasive quotes. What would have happened if I had agreed? I would have paid $1,600 for an unnecessary fuel pump, and the car would have still had the original problem. Given what I know from friends who have worked there, this feels less like a mistake and more like a pattern of upselling. I cannot recommend this location for anything beyond basic services, and even then, I would advise getting a second opinion on any recommended repairs. Final Verdict: Poor diagnostics, inflated prices, and a severe breach of trust. Shop elsewhere. To the management team who may respond, I see your establishment uses template apologies asking for "another chance to earn your trust." Do not waste your time sending one. No apology or offer of a discount can remedy this. The issue is not a single mistake, it is a demonstrated pattern of behavior at your facility. You have proven yourself to be both incompetent at accurate diagnostics and untrustworthy in your recommendations. Charging $220 for a 5-minute reset, then immediately following it with a pressured, inaccurate $1,600 misdiagnosis is not an "error." It is a failure of ethics and skill. This latest incident is not isolated. I have had other unsatisfactory experiences at your location in the past, which I chose to overlook, giving you the benefit of the doubt. That grace has now been utterly exhausted. You have permanently lost a customer and, based on my conversations with others in the community, you are swiftly losing more. I will ensure my family, friends, and anyone who asks hears this full account. Do not contact me. I will never do business with Firestone again. Consider this not just a review, but a final verdict on your practices.

I was greeted with a friendly and neighborly attitude. Although it was my first time going to this shop, the feeling I got with Chris was that he knew me. The service I received was excellent and I highly recommend anyone needing their car serviced to go to this shop.

We called several tire shops, and the last one we contacted had the most knowledgeable staff by far. We were able to walk in, get serviced right away, and have all our motorcoach tires replaced within a few hours. Their team was polite and efficient, and they have a dedicated commercial vehicle section with large bay doors, carrying heavy-duty tires that other shops don’t stock. They service not only regular vehicles but also dump trucks, RVs, semi-trucks, and other industrial vehicles. Excellent service, great location—highly recommend! Thank you! ☺️

Came here to get my tires balanced and possibly get an alignment before driving 3000 miles to my new home. By the time i reach Pennsylvania my brakes are making a hell of a racket. After the trailer is unloaded and disconnected I pull a front wheel off to see what the issue is. Immediately I notice that the brake line is twisted because someone put the caliper on improperly. I go to remove the caliper and put it back on right and i notice one of the slide pins is gone... the other i was able to twist out with my fingers. I check the other side and it is also missing a slide pin and I'm able to unscrew the remaining one with my fingers. I'm extremely lucky that the way the ford caliper was set up didnt allow it to pull away. It could have wedged into the rim and locked the wheel up which could have likely killed us at highway speed hauling a heavy trailer. Don't trust these people if you value your vehicle, or your life.
