I honestly can’t say enough good things about Texas Star Auto Glass! Perry and his entire team always go above and beyond! Taylor showed up bang on time and did an awesome job replacing the windshield of my 08 Saturn Sky. He did it fast, clean, and made it look easy. Cleaned up everything very well as he worked and even transferred my toll tag to the new windshield for me. He also went above and beyond and helped me seal a small gap in the rear glass of the convertible top while he was here. 10/10, definitely recommended!

Fast service, but the repair quality was disappointing. The technician (Taylor) showed up quickly, about 30 minutes after I called, and he was friendly. But the repair itself felt rushed. The star chip wasn’t drilled, the impact point was prepped using the corner of a razor blade, and no UV lamp was used to cure the resin even though it was a cloudy morning. He mentioned he didn’t have one because they “break all the time.” The resin was left to cure in cloudy condition for about 5-10 minutes before he asked for payment and left. After getting in the car and looking at the windshield more closely, I noticed the chip still has visible dark and silvery areas that look like trapped air, and several of the crack legs are still clearly visible. (See picture) The chip is in my line of sight, the result is pretty noticeable and not what I expected from a repair. This was a 3 days old rock chip, and I haven't driven since the impact. It shouldn't be contaminated with any debris. Now I may have to pay for a windshield replacement. I appreciated how quickly they came out, but based on the final result I’m not very satisfied with the quality of the repair.

Serious security concern with Texas Star Auto Glass We own a multi-tenant commercial building in Plano, TX, and had a very troubling experience with this company. One of our tenants with an expired lease called this locksmith to gain access to a suite in our building. According to our security camera footage, the locksmith unlocked and changed the lock without verifying authorization or confirming legal occupancy before entering the premises. Only after already opening the suite did the technician ask to see a lease and the lease shown (if it was) was expired. For anyone managing or owning any property, this should be alarming. A professional locksmith should always verify identity and proof of legal access BEFORE unlocking a commercial space, especially in a building with multiple tenants. Failing to do so creates a serious security and liability risk for property owners and other tenants. If locksmiths are willing to open commercial units without confirming authorization first, it raises obvious concerns about how easily unauthorized individuals could gain access to businesses. We strongly recommend this company review its procedures and implement proper verification protocols before granting access to commercial properties. Due to the seriousness of this incident and the security risks it created for our building and tenants, we are currently reviewing this matter with legal counsel and evaluating potential legal action. Very disappointing experience.
