I wouldn’t recommend That’s Minor Customs to my worst enemy. Long story short; he charged my father almost double his original quote. They lost his trunk lid and replaced it with the incorrect one, and when confronted about it with video proof Frank (the owner) got hostile and defensive. The car was also returned with finished paint/bodywork without the gas tank filler tube cut in and gas tank strap brackets welded on after he replaced the trunk pan. It was an all around awful experience as the quality of work was terrible on top being over charged. BUYER BEWARE!!!! STAY AWAY

I've gotten a recommendation to bring my car here for some custom work but with the amount of work involved in redoing classic and customized vehicles they aren't even open on the weekend. I've checked other places like this also and it seems that none of them want to wait on a customer if it's on the weekend. They may be working in there just not having customers come in, I don't know but if not I don't know how they would get anything done without those extra days and I personally can only make it in for a quote on Saturdays or Sundays. Come on guys open for a few on at least Saturday. I've seen the reviews on what you charge and it warrants longer hours for customer service if you are serious about what you do. People that really love cars do this not just for a job but because they enjoy the beauty in the craft.

The service was fantastic! From the mechanics to the owners, everyone was so friendly and they had me in and out in not time. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend That's Minor Customs.

After what this place did to my uncle, I wouldn't take anything here. they will probably charge you $10,000 just to change some brake pads. Steer clear and save your self money! I seen his bill, these guys are absolute crooks!

My father in law brought his GTO there. Will not stay running. Poor wiring. Trims rattling. The (new) brake drums are warped. Total garbage shop. STAY AWAY.

I took my truck there to have the body put on a four-wheel-drive frame. Everything they did was backwards they bolded fenders on. Tight and should’ve put steps on first and then adjusted everything to them. I put the tailgate on one latch did not line up was going to grind it off instead of adjusting box side. Mounted the cab to the chassis without painting First put front fenders on stated had to pull driver side fender off to hook up steering so I was charged twice for mounting fender was supposed to mount Body get it running and Paint barely got body mounted for $17,000 some of the pictures are damaged done to my brand new fenders they look like they drug them across a concrete floor face down. They let the tailgate drop open and hit the hitch so it has a big dent in it. The guy they put on my job had no clue what he was doing.

That minor customs is the worst. They have the nerve to charge too dollar and do shabby work. My car was smoking and cutting off before I could even get to the house and I only stayed 4 miles from their business. I was warned about them and boy do I wish I should have listened. 🤬👎🏽

I’m with Mr Clark. This shop is a total scam. Never usually say nothing bad about people or businesses. But into them for thousands and nothing done! Nothing but excuses. Had to pull the car. Save yourself the nightmare. Go somewhere else.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I brought my Camaro in to have work done on it. They painted the hood and one fender. Within 48 hours the paint is chipping off of the fender and the paint is cracking on the hood. Phil said if I bring it back, he will take care of it. Phil, I don't trust you to try to paint it, AGAIN... You should have done it right the first time!! It may be worse next time... You said you use premium PPG paint. It doesn't matter how good the paint is, if the surface isn't prepared well the paint is going to chip off. When I picked my car up I had to go back immediately because the kick panel by my emergency brake was on the wrong side of the dimmer switch. And for some reason they put a circuit breaker in my fusible link. The reason I was hesitant in paying is because of the poor paint job!! I recommend you STAY AWAY from this place. I suggest you read ALL the reviews carefully before going here. A lot of people posted negative reviews. Wonder why Phil???

Do not use Minor Customs for anything!! RESPONSE TO OWNER- You are charging a customer twice for the same thing because you lost a technician is robbery. Yes, you are correct there were boxes of parts YOU said were no problem to have there in the event any of them could be used. I did not ask for you to have a well-paid technician to dedicate an unnecessary amount of time looking through junk if he clearly deemed them unusable. You guys are the pros that could easily make this choice. And the first well-paid technician was paid to do so and so was the second one because the first one left. Then was charged hours for the second technician to review what the first one did on the project and where they left off. Why a customer suffers and is charged for a shop losing a tech is a whole other topic.

This place is a rip off, I brought my vehicle to them to repair or replace my climate control. They charged me a total of close to $5000 and did nothing. I Received a call from them stating they could not find parts and as a result I could come pick up my vehicle. I personally did some research and found a retrofit kit that would work for my vehicle, I asked them how come they did not suggest a retrofit kit Initially? They had no answer. Once I gave them the manufacturer of the Retrofit kit they told me the price to purchase the kit would be Double if they purchased it as they would have to warrant it At an additional $5000 or even more. I was also told that since I have a convertible I don't really need climate control anyway after they took close to $5000 from me. This is my first classic and I expected these guys to operate in a place of integrity and in a professional manner, which they did not. I was truly taken advantage of and the worst part is I have no recourse, there's nothing I can do about it besides write this post and hope that others beware they will take your money and not provide you with any service but a bunch of excuses. It is extremely rare that I write reviews even more rare to write a negative review but this company truly deserves it, it's almost criminal the way I was treated. I have nothing to show for close to $5000.00 I thought the classic car community was a brotherhood and we took care of each other, I'm finding out the hard way that this is not the case.

Great experience. When you pay $97k for your vehicle, I gotta say I was nervous about the repair process. Made it super easy. Had work done at dealerships before and so glad I went off the beaten path and took it to somebody that knows what they’re doing. They genuine care and passion for detail. Exceeded my expectations.

I took my 1965 Riviera in for 2 items on 4/24/24. One was to repair the button to open the trunk and the other was to find out why it was hard to start when cold. I was asked if I wanted an inspection. I agreed to that and was aware that it was going to be a charge for 4 labor hours. 1 month later I received an estimate of work totaling $3500. I agreed to that work and paid $2400 to have the work started. From that point forward it was a nightmare. I was called on June 10th to bring more money due to the many electrical issues. I paid $2500. On June 25th I was told they needed $5K more due to the repairs that had already been completed. I wasn't advised of this and felt I had no choice but to pay it. I assumed this would be the end of it. The next convesation came on July 26th where they were just now working on the hard to start issue. They felt it was the carbureator and another $1K. All communication stopped after this point. I called and visited mutiple times and finally got some action on October 8th. Of course, another $1k was needed. When I went to leave with the car, the shaved door handles did not work. They worked when I brought it there. They looked into the problem and felt it was the solenoid inside the doors. Another $1k. I picked it up on 10/24/24 (6 months from dropoff) and still the doors did not open correctly. It was clear to me they had no idea how ro work on something other than the "common" classics like a Mustang. I took my car home so that I can find someone who actually knows what they are doing and doesnt bleed the customer dry monetarily. If I would have known that $3500 was going to balloon to 4 times that amount, I would have never taken it there. I had seen their full page back cover advertisement in Cruisn News and thought they were reputable. I notice they no longer advertise with that publicaton. I share my story so that others will know what to expect when taking a car there for work.

I would like to share that my experience with "That's Minor Customs" was a pleasure. From day one the attention I received and the professionalism was unmatched. Everything that was discussed about what was to be done on my 1950 Packard was written down with such detail, it left me with no questions if things were done or not. I recommend this shop for all your custom car needs. Bryan V.

OMG that’s minor customs is the worst. How they stay in business i will never know. They told me my car was ready and they couldn’t even get it started to get out of their garage. It had several problems that it never had prior to taking it in there. I was robbed of 3000 dollars to get my car out of their garage. Mark my words, you will regret taking your car there if you do.

Fantastic overnight response on a decidedly non automotive sandblasting project. On time and on budget. Great, friendly people to work with.

The owner has had my car for five years plus. I feel like my car is being held hostage. They work on it and then they stop and then they work on it and then they stop working on it six months at a time, not working on it. The mechanics there are fantastic. The owner is the problem. I just wanna get it out of there. Take it to another shop and let someone else finish it. It’s not going to get finished there.

Was very impressed with the shops and personnel. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and spent a lot of time explaining what the procedure is going to be and the history of the shop, then they took me for a tour of all the buildings. They showed me many cars in different stages of repairs and restoration. Very impressed with the quality of work being performed. Will update as my car progresses.

This place is AWESOME! I called several other shops before going to That's Minor Customs. Their attention to detail is what sold me. The Restoration they did on my Chevelle was impressive. The owners are great people too.
