Please DO NOT have your car service here for anything more complicated than an oil change!!! Back in October the "owner" Ray (who I met at a bowling alley) convinced me to let him take my car for repairs, he even paid for the tow. How nice, right? Well come to find out I need a need engine, so I was told it would take week once I paid the first half of the money. It was paid the next day and after a MONTH of calling to check on it and getting the run around I get my car back. Within a day my oil is leaking and my engine light is on, so I take it back and they "fix" it. I also had to ask for proof of mileage on my new engine, which he was reluctant to provide and even still only got something he typed into his computer and printed out for me. Within a two weeks the car would only start if I jumped it, called Ray and was told it was not and engine problem so he wouldn't fix it. After paying him 3400 to "replace" my engine I was not willing to pay him another dime. After replacing the battery, the alternator, and the starter I was still having the problem and was told that it was probably bad wiring. It didn't matter though because at this point, only a month after I had the car my engine blew again (had to pay another mechanic to tell me this). I contacted Ray and he towed it in to look at it. The engine was bad and he would replace it again, this time under warranty. I was told that there are no engines in state that are close to the mileage of mine. My car sits there for three weeks without anyone touching it... I called another very reputable mechanic to ask questions because I feel this is shady. He tells me that there are multiple engines that fit my specifications in state. Hmmm. So after 2 Months of begging for updates on my car in told I can pick it up. When I get there the battery is dead and we have to jump it to get it home and there is a very loud engine knock,my back tire was so loose that I could turn the lug by hand, and again no paperwork. At this point it runs but sounds like it's going to explode and I had to replace the oil pan because the one that came with my current engine had a hole in it (that they tried to JB weld). Every mechanic that has looked at my car has asked if I had a real mechanic do the work... At this point I'd rather drive it into a lake and call it a total loss than deal with Ray and his shop ever again. If I could give no stars I would.

I called to get an estimate on how much the installation cost would be for front&rear brake pads+rotors. Was told $125 for installation and made an appointment. The day before my appointment, I called to confirm the time and was told there was not appointment under my name. The guys that work here don’t act professional. They don’t even take down proper information when making an appointment. When you speak to someone, make sure to get their name!! They play the blame game. It’s a good thing I called the day before my appointment, turns out what they quoted me for was only for the front brake pads/rotors install. Avoid this place!

NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! These people are criminals! I brought my car to the guy cause over the phone he quoted me $120 for pads and rotors with labor and told him before he does any work to call me first. He told me he would start working on it right away, after 3 hours and calling several times asking what was going on since they were supposed to be closed at this point the manger just kept yelling at me. I end up showing up and there Already working on the car without calling me about anything and tell me it’s gonna be $350. Long story short I end up paying for it when I leave the brakes are grinding and whistling for weeks. I bring it back to them they tell me they need to change my left side caliper and its Another $120. I take it to another mechanic he said they never put pads on the back side of the rotors on both sides of the front end. Completely put me and my family in danger driving that car not knowing that. These people not only argued with me about everything but they lied and charged Me for 4 pads and only Put 2 on in fronts where you could see! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEM, unless you want severe damage done to your car!

We replaced tie rods and got new tires put on my car and wanted to get a front end alignment, when we called to make an appointment the guy refused because he didn't do the work and hung up the phone. Called the next closest place and they have no problem doing the front end alignment for us. We have tried to come here before for an oil change and the customer service was just awful, took four hours to do an oil change.

I had Ray Formella work on my daughter's van it was a danger for my three grandaughters which are toddlers he charged $570 to repair and replace all bad parts he then in turn put used parts and didn't replace all. After fixing it the replaced parts weren't complet. This made it even more unsafe because the breaks we're rattling and loose a chance they could lock up while driving my daughter drives on the free way alot. He said he worked at Mr.Brakes and used the company account to purchase parts,but after showing my daughter the new parts then took them back.

Went in because of a sudden check engine light and a rough idle right at closing time. They stayed open to take all my info and started analysis on my car first thing the next morning. They quickly diagnosed it as a bad spark plug and confirmed I wanted the replacement before doing the work. Price and time estimates were clearly communicated and followed through on. Good experience and I would bring my car back if it ever needs more extensive work in the future.

They got me in and out in the same day (a Saturday, no less), offered me a ride home, and even stayed a little past closing so that I could make it there to pick up my vehicle. I called this place for a quote to bleed my brakes. We just did my brakes and my pedal was squishy going to the floor stopping real slow. Classic symptom of needing the brakes bled. The man was immediately hostile asking who did my brakes. My husband did. He got irritated and said well it sounds like he messed up the caliper. “Yup he ruined that caliper” of course my husband bled the brakes himself later when he got home and my car stops perfectly fine. I feel like this man thought I was just a women and stupid and knew nothing about cars. I know when a caliper is bad the car will still stop and will pull to one side not have squishy brakes. Only reason I called for a quote was because I needed to get stuff done that day and didn’t have time to wait for my husband to get home. Thanks for nothing. If you’re a women do not come here cause they will absolutely try to pull one over on you. I didn’t even bring the car in yet. I’m glad I have some basic knowledge otherwise I would have taken it in and have them replace my caliper for no reason.

Brought my car after my brakes went out, he had them fixed in a day. Told him about a issue I was having with the car after another place "fixed" it, he ran a test on it for free and got right to the bottom of that issue. Brought my car back in to get new tires, and again had it done quick. And I'll be bringing my car in to fix the issue the other place caused. In short, I'm extremely happy with the service here and how well they take care of the customers. I can not recommend them enough.

Just avoid this place all together…it was the closet place to me when I needed my brakes bled. Took it there and after we drove it home about 8 hours later I was pushing my brake to the floor barely able to break. We took it back there and it took two days for them to even look at it again and once we went to pick it up we asked what happened the first time. The mechanic said they didn’t even have the correct equipment to bleed my brakes the first time. He also said they had to make some adjustments to the brake system. When I tried to ask what adjustments he said well just some adjustments. Well a week later I find out i’m missing a screw to my caliper and it was about to fall off. Ladies avoid this place as I think that’s why he wouldn’t tell me what was wrong.

I went to this shop to fixed my tire. the worker told me there was a nail in it and said he fixed the problem.how ever after leaving the tire still had the same issue nothing was actually fixed.this feels dishonest and unprofessional I will not recommend this place

Ruined my car and my life they was supposed to change my coolant hose but when I got it back the same hose came loose while I was driving made the car over heat on the highway I was stuck for hours got it towed to them he said it was only the hose broke again and he would replace it for free and said he would inspect everything else I said ok gave it back didn’t say anything I get the car back go to get gas and try to start it back up it wouldst start at all I had to drag it back to him up 19 mile literally by myself with some help of the community then he finally tells me I blew a gasket had to be when the hose came loose so my engine is ruined he claims the same hose wasn’t breaking everytime it was the hose in front of the so called hose they replaced 🫤🫤 I have a video of the hose they so called fixed Everytime it broke so I know what I’m talking about , it’s a car loan so they will be taking it back soon I’ll owe 18 grand to them lost my job and everything do not go here for anything they rush through every car and now my life is ruined I will be seeking legal assistance to sue this company And to respond to his lying comment 600 miles in 3 days ? Maybe your workers lied about my miles after I picked it up I only made it to Walmart n it didn’t come back on was stranded for hours in the dark cold

If I could rate lower I would. I spoke three techs re: my vechicle. The techs confirmed that they will be able to use outside purchased parts to replce my breaks and rack and pinion. I found someone that could replace it cheaper and I took my car elsewhere. However, My breakline head was stripped to attach the caliber to the line. My orig.mechanic who wanted to ensure the repair was done accuratley advised me to bring my car back to atlas. I called them on Saturdat to ask if the head can be replaced and was told my one Tech, "Sure I will loook into it and it should nopt be a problem." I got a rude and nastry phone call, from who Ray, who says he is a GM of the location. Ray asked me repeatedly what needed to be fixed on the vehiocle and I kept telling him, he then raised his voice at me. My then male family member got on the phone with Ray and his attitude then changed. He was still testy and rude mentioning He does not go over anyone elses work and that as of today, he no longer excepts outside auto parts. I asked him since when, my vehcile was just there and you all were just going to replace the breaks. Ray reponsded, well, now I am not. Ray seems to be a man who is challgened at his career and does not know how tohandle the everyday pressures of front cutomer facing roles and the duties of running a auto shop. Ray has caused thus company tio lose out on over $2k worth of work. Ray also tried to lie and upcharge me for a break line rplacement that is not needed, in which another mechanic confirmed. Ray came off as a disgurntled, racist, misogynistic employee who no longer needss to represent this auto shop. Ray has no idea who I am and who he is messing with. When I get done with my news contacts, BBB and Mr. Brakes HQ Ray better hope he is still employed. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHIVLE HERE ESP IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR OR ANY OTHER NATIONALITY. YOU WILL DE SICRIMINATED AGAINST ANG CHRGED HIGHER RATES FOR BEING BLACK OR BIENG A WOMAN. I am now contacting Mr Brakes Headquaters and will not rest until Ray is nol longer employed.
