Crooks,, the manager is very very questionable. Don’t push him. He will get aggressive and ask for cash. I was stuck and needed my truck quick he was pissy when I called and kept asking the status of my truck. Then asked for 8k I was stuck so I paid he asked for cash as it was cheaper with no percentage added on for the transaction. Got my truck back it was screwed up was able to get to Chevy dealer in rockwall. Limped in and the manager laughed and said yep it was a 1k fix and these guys are all around. Beware!!!!!

I had a transmission code causing my trans to go into limp mode TTS had good reviews so I dropped it off Russel knew what was wrong from experience, use my truck for my business and he got me up and running faster than I expected and charged me very fairly ,these guys know what there doing and are honest.Id recommend them to family and friends.

We had a very positive experience with The Transmission Shop in Garland Texas today. We were unable to shift our Chevy Tahoe after parking it in an underground parking garage at the school where we teach. The Transmission Shop sent Tristan out with their tow truck. The garage was too tight for a tow truck so Tristan physically pushed the car to a position where he could do an onsight diagnostic of the situation. He was able to do a temporary fix that allowed him to get the truck out of the garage and off to the shop. Tristan was great and luckily the fix was something simple and did not require a transmission replacement. Transmission replacement can be very expensive. What we appreciated the most was the honest assessment of the problem that was solved at a fraction of the cost of replacement. Thank you John and Tristan for a job well done. We are customers for life!

Very rude people! The manager has a very bad temper no patience at all ! It’s not hard to talk to people about problems on your car , no reason to get angry or mad . Life is already hard enough and people like him make it worse !

Doug and the team were great to work with. Went in knowing what problems exist for the GM 6 Speeds and came out with what I hope will be a long-lasting rebuild. Fortunately, this was preventative maintenance and Doug had some suggestions along the way to do our best and try to make this transmission last. Time line was a bit longer than I had hoped but at the end of the day, I wanted them to take their time and not rush things. Overall, these guys are great and I'll be back for any transmission service or repairs that come up in the future. Thanks again guys!

So i have a car that's near and dear to my heart. I've owned the car for quite awhile, so needless to say it's very hard to trust anyone with it when it goes wrong. Well when the transmission gave out on me, i was lost. I didn't want a crummy used one from the juke yard. I wanted to do the job properly. So i called around for some different prices on rebuilds for transmissions. When i contacted The Transmission Shop on Forrest Lane in Garland Texas, i felt very comfortable and confident that this would be the place to fix my vehicle. John was very knowledgeable and considerate of my needs for my car. Everything he told me was true. The transmission shop picked my car up and took care of the Beast for me within a reasonable amount of time. I've had my car back now for over a month now and i half to say first off WOW WOW. The shifts a creamy and smooth, i feel nothing when shifting into different gears. After the 500 mile break in period, I've taken the car to Houston and Paris Texas within a two week period and the car is excellent. Thank you so much to the transmission shop for taking care of my car (the Beast). For anyone who reads my reviews on Google know i don't exaggerate about spending my money. So i highly recommend this shop for all of your transmission needs. I look forward to our next project together.

I will say as a woman, it's very hard to not get the run around and overpriced for your car. I had recently took my car to the dealership and they told me I needed an engine replacement for 13k. I brought my car here and Andrew (I believe that was his name) was so nice and helped me more than I would know. It turns out, there was a sensor that needed to be replaced and that was it. Costed me around 300 and I was good to go. That was almost three moths ago and my car hasn't had any issues since, so thank you!!

Russell gave me a few options that fitted my budget, and serviced my tahoe within a reasonable time frame. Since then I've broken in the differential and all seems well. 10 out of 5 stars.

Well, I will say this very prestige. Excellent. Super work. My car is running like New. I really appreciate you very knowledgeable. Very clean organize. The only thing is extremely poor and sad. Zero lack of communication. I had to call multiple times. It was like pulling out Teeth with an old old players. Need to work on our communication Skills. Zero updates. I had to literally call every day just to know something.

Russel with The Transmission Shop went above and beyond to help us with our damaged transmission. Another auto mechanic had quoted us an extremely high price for a factory replacement, but after speaking with Russel regarding our issue, we felt confident that we had found the best transmission shop in DFW. His crew was able to completely rebuilt our Mazda transmission which saved us almost half and he include a 3 year warranty. Great experience and we would highly recommend them to anyone!!!
