Thumbs up saved us the other day when my truck overheated near the shop. It was an emergency and we didn’t want to tow our truck to another location. Boy did we luck out with the service provided. Firstly, the owner offered to drive us home back to Frisco. He then promptly changed my water pump and thermostat the following day at a fair and competitive price without any haggling. He even showed us the defective parts and it was apparent they needed replaced. We recommend thumbs up any day of the week!

On a Sunday one of my headlights had burnt out and I needed it replaced that day because I had work later tonight. I went/called to three different car services that have garages nationwide and none of them could do it that day. Found this place and gave him a call, and he said he could replace it for me all I had to do was go buy the bulbs. He is such a hardworking and cool guy working out of a small garage all by himself. I'm very thankful and would definitely think about going to him again

They replaced my water pump on my car in which had no previous issues until this. My boyfriend was referred to them. The reviews made me along with the recommendations made me comfortable being I have very hard time trusting mechanics and they were a little less expensive then Goodyear who just did a diagnostic and I had one done before I moved to the area a year ago. Well I get my car back still running hot and the engine light on with a recommendation of a new head. Which shock me as I kept the maintenance up on my car. I took my car back to Goodyear to get checked out again well come to find out no coolant was put in it like my receipt said it was and oil was in my radiator so they didn’t flush my radiator after replacing the water pump. A serpentine belt and thermostat along with radiator flush was put on my car by Goodyear. No engine light and my car is running perfect. It would have cost me much less if I would have just let Goodyear fix it in the beginning.

Elias has done so much work to my vehicle over the last couple years it’s hard to keep up. A few of the things have included oil changes, tire rotation, replacing breaks, control arm replacement, spark plugs, ignition coil replacement, and multiple electrical issues. He has always been great at diagnosing the issue and has literally saved me thousands of dollars and hours of time. He is fast and honest. He genuinely wants to help people and make sure his customers are taken care of. You won’t find this great of a mechanic or person to take care of your car.

Our 2020 Chevy traverse was making an awful rattle sound. We went to a mechanic (first choice auto) who told us we needed a belt / pulley replacement. After diagnosing our vehicle they then said we needed front sway bar links and strut mounts, not a belt. After we received the parts we were told by another mechanic it was a belt not sway bar links. I googled and found Elias. He came in on his day off diagnosed our vehicle with a broken muffler bracket within 5 minutes. He fixed it right then. So knowledgeable and reasonable with his pricing. Can not recommend enough.

I took my Chrysler Town and Country to Thumbs Up Automotive Repair. Elias did everything he promised and more. I found him to be of high moral character with honesty and integrity. He is obviously very talented as a mechanic and was able to diagnose and repair my vehicle in a timely and professional manner. The vehicle now runs much, much better than it has in the past. I found the cost to be very fair and upselling did not occur. I am very thankful for Elias and his business for taking care of my vehicle and will be going to him in the future for any needed repairs on my vehicles. I am new in town so finding a good honest mechanic is not easy. Elias is amazing, runs his own shop and is upfront on the costs involved. He gave me a worst case scenario and was $100 below that because he is honest. I would have paid the worst case but it shows his integrity! I highly recommend him, it’s just him in the shop and he is busting his butt off to make it so give him a try. Strong work ethic and honesty is rare!

Elias did a fantastic job, honest and reliable, I will use him whenever I have a problem, with my Honda HRV. The dealer wanted $500 to replace my sun visor - Elias did it for way less, and he used the visor I had purchased. He also told me what was wrong with my ambient temperature gauge, which is completely opposite what the dealer told me. The dealer wanted to rip out my whole dash - the sensor is located on the outside of the car. It's so nice to run into an honest and great mechanic - I highly recommend him.
