I had a terrible experience here…. I was asking for them just to check my battery. When they where finished checking my battery they where going to charge me 48 dollar….. auto zone and any other place I have every been any mechanic I have been to has never in my life has never charged me. They ended up telling me that it was ok I did not have to pay as I was leaving. It’s super frustrating because I feel like woman are taken advantage of in this field and they just proved my point super disappointed… and sad that this is what is happening they ended up sending me a invoice for a full inspection that I never even asked for. Had to call them and tell them I did not ask for that service just super frustrating!!!!!

I called several tire stores, and Tires Plus was the one that took us in immediately. They had the exact tires that we needed. Two other places did not even talk to us. They had a better deal then the local big warehouse and a better Price than several other places. All the employees were friendly and gave us great service.

I had the absolute best experience with Jay at Tires Plus! He’s not just a mechanic — he’s truly amazing at what he does. From the moment I brought my car in, Jay was professional, knowledgeable, and honest. He took the time to explain what was going on with my vehicle in a way I could actually understand, and he made sure I felt comfortable with the repair process. What really stood out was how much he genuinely cares about his customers. He went above and beyond to make sure my car was fixed right the first time, and I never once felt pressured or rushed. It’s rare to find a mechanic who combines skill, integrity, and great customer service, but Jay has all three. If you’re looking for someone you can trust completely with your car, I can’t recommend Jay enough. He’s the reason I’ll keep coming back to Tires Plus!

BEWARE!!!!! This is not my first time dealing with this Tires Plus location. (3910 SW College Road Ocala, FL 34474) First time for an oil change with them. Took my car for an oil change this morning. My car has a lot of miles on it and when take it to other places always they do a synthetic high milage oil change as should. They did a standard oil change. On top of that, they said I need a new battery, spark plugs, 2 tires, belts, engine air filter, and wiper blades. A few serious problems with this: - In person I was only informed of the battery, belt, and the 2 tires. - The other things I mentioned I only found out when they emailed me afterwards the invoice, and inspection report which the way it reads is very questionable. It reads on it: - RIGHT FRONT TIRE REQUIRED: Nails; Non-Repairable; Worn (REMOVED - [TECHNICIAN DETERMINED SERVICE IS NOT NEEDED]) Do I need a new tire or not? What about the nails on it? Hmmmm..... - LEFT REAR TIRE REQUIRED: Worn RIGHT REAR TIRE SUGGESTED LEFT FRONT TIRE SUGGESTED - WIPER BLADES - FRONT SUGGESTED: Worn (REMOVED - [TECHNICIAN DETERMINED SERVICE IS NOT NEEDED]) Do I need new wipers or not? Hmmmm..... - SPARK PLUGS SUGGESTED I just had them done at the dealer. Big problem with this them telling me this. On their Courtesy Check Summary it says: - Air Filter Close To End Of Useful Life Only found about this when reading this report. Was NOT told about this in person. - Washer Fluid Close To End Of Useful Life Details: Empty / Low Is it empty/low why they did not fill it? Was NOT told about this in person. - Battery Test Does Not Meet Design Specifications Very dissatisfied and not happy with their service. From my experience and their paperwork shows that they are not to be trusted. BEWARE!

Sunday, 1/4/26 - I had a tire blowout while traveling home to TN. I stopped at walmart and called 3 other tire shops. Tire Plus was a great choice. A lot better service and tires than walmart was offering me. Tire Plus was less expensive than other shops selling the same tire. The staff and mechanics were very knowledgeable, did a great job explaining and showing me diagnostice test results, and they were so friendly. Four tires, two back brakes/rotors, alignment, 1 tire valve sensor and an airfilter, I was safely back on the road. I appreciate them taking my car right in with the 9 1/2 hour drive ahead of me. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about the Tires Plus in Ocala. I’m in there at least once a month having vehicles serviced, and every single visit is a great experience. Matthew, the manager, runs a top-notch operation. They are honest, professional, and straightforward, which is hard to find these days. The entire team is friendly, knowledgeable, and never tries to upsell or pressure you into anything you don’t need. They explain what’s going on, give honest recommendations, and always get the work done in a timely manner so I can get back on the road.
