Called for a quote to paint some Jeep parts. The person answering the phone was professional, but clearly had no idea that a ton of Jeep owners are capable of removing/installing their own parts and may just need paint work done. As this doesn’t allow for jacking the price up they declined on the opportunity to just do paint work.

I am a transplant from Texas... Finally trying to get readjusted to the climate here. My low beam lights went out on me and my hood got stuck... All the wrong things that can happen on a snowy night. Next day gave Chuck a call, and although he had work pending, he still gave me attention to fix my jammed hood, low beam lights & direct me on my general car maintenance. I guess this is the Minnesota nice, y'all been talking about... And there is sure a lot of ice coming this year from what I hear😄. Many thanks, buddy!

I didn't end up getting work done here but got some honest, non-salesy feedback about the potential for a repair I was curious about. Long story short, the work would have been pretty extensive (which I already had a feeling about) so I decided to hold off. But the gentleman who came out to look at my car took his time with it and provided rationale. Also, part of my repairs would have been new headlights, as mine are pretty cloudy/dirty, and since it logistically wouldn't have worked out without doing the bigger repairs, he actually took the time to bring out some compound to give the headlights a little bit of a scrub, and gave me some recommendations on how I could get them clearer again. Just based on this interaction alone, I could see there was a genuine desire to help and I'd trust and recommend this shop!
