I took my car to another shop because my brakes were squealing. They quoted me over a thousand dollars. I took it to Tommy T"s for a second opinion and their honesty saved me from spending most of the thousand dollars that had been quoted by the other shop. Even if the other shop had been correct, Tommy T's still would have done the work for significantly less money. I'll be a customer as long as I live in Tallahassee.

I’ve been driving for 30 years, and I’ve never left an oil change with a big grin on my face, but that was my experience at Tommy T’s Mighty Lube! Every single employee was kind, friendly, and helpful. I often dread taking my vehicle in to be serviced because I never know if the additional suggested services are legit or not. Not the case here! They were upfront and no-pressure in communication, and they found an open recall on my vehicle and gave me guidance on where to go to have that repair done. 10/10 cannot say enough good things!

Tommy T's is a locally owned mechanic shop that has good integrity and pricing. I first went there 9 years ago after receiving a referral from a friend when I needed a pre-purchse inspection on a new/used vehicle. They were kind and treated me right. They were up front with me about any issues the vehicles had that I brought them. That helped with my decision process. They will tell you what needs to be done for your vehicle to be safe on the road and if there is something that can wait. I tell everyone that is looking for a trustworthy mechanic shop to go here.

I came in for an oil change and to have a persistent clicking noise checked out. I had previously gone to a Toyota dealership where they dismissed the issue, claiming it was something rolling around in my trunk...despite the trunk being completely empty. When I brought my car here, they addressed the issue right away and completed the oil change quickly and efficiently. Everyone was incredibly kind, respectful, and most importantly they were honest. There was no pressure to purchase additional services or unnecessary upsells. As a college student who’s still figuring things out and doesn’t know much about cars, I really appreciated how easy and stress free they made the whole experience. I was on a road trip passing through Tallahassee and my AC wasn’t working well. I also was way overdue for an oil change. I found Tommy T’s when I searched for local oil change and drive the extra 10 minutes to go here instead of that other franchise place (I think it was take 5). I was so pleasantly surprised by this shop - the service was outstanding!! They got my car fixed up so fast, and fixed the AC problem for a very fair price!! We were low on Freon. I love these guys!! Wish I had them back home in TN! Family owned business and wonderful people!!

Honest people. If you need to find out what’s going on with your vehicle THIS is the place to go. They get the job done and quick. I did have another problem that needed to be taken to Infinity due to the kind of vehicle I have. Don was very honest and didn’t “try” and fix it. I had an INCREDIBLE experience with Tommy T's. I had my car towed here from Firestone. Firestone tried to scare me into spending $5500 in "necessary repairs" because my car was in such bad shape and a danger to drive. I had a bad feeling about their quote, so I got my car towed to Tommy T's when they were closed. I explained what happened in a voicemail, and that I would have to work with them remotely as I was only in town for a couple of days. Don contacted me first-thing next business day, explained he wanted to start with an oil change and we would go from there. I approved that and he reached back out later saying my car was ready to go. I called and explained what Firestone told me. Don was very kind the entire time, mentioned a couple of things for me to keep an eye on, but nothing that meant my car was too dangerous to drive. He never spoke down to me. I'm truly touched by their commitment to back their work with their word. I drove my car home safely and it's all thanks to Tommy T's! Don and his team are incredible, patient, empathetic, and knowledgeable. I'll tell anyone who will listen to use this shop. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
