If you are looking for an honest automotive shop Tovar is the place to go. I went to several places to get estimates on repairs and it seems most places want your firstborn child for a simple brake replacement. Not Tovar automotive. They were not only fast and efficient but fixed my brakes/rotors at a great price too.

Chris runs a great shop. He makes sure your vehicle is just right before he hands it back to you, which for me means alot. Reasonably priced and extremely good customer service. Wish there were more like him around. I would highly recommend him in all ways.

Auto zone hutto recommended me to this store for my engine light on issue. I took my car and manager called me within an hour and told me these are the issues after a thorough diagnosis. They fixed my car within a day and made my issues fixed. Great management and appreciate all the efforts to fix my issue. Manager received me in a friendly way and walked me through in a polite way. Recommend all to this place.

I needed my AC fixed. Took it to 2 other places before this and they both wanted me to replace the whole compressor and AC first time they looked at it. I would've spent over 1000 dollars at both mechanics. I wanted a 3rd opinion. They tested it multiple times and were straight forward and honest. Finding the real problem. It just needed new pressure change and free on added. I appreciate their honesty, knowledge, professionalism, and straight forwardness. I will be using them for any other repairs and maintenance.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This is the mechanic shop to stay away from! I wouldn’t trust these guys to put windshield washer fluid in my vehicle! If you’re having problems with your vehicle stay away from this place!! Horrible Customer service and horrible mechanics. The workers here have no integrity whatsoever. Do not, I repeat do not take your vehicle to this place!!! It will come back in worse shape than it was already!

I don’t know the owners but I can tell you the dude Alex that manages this place is the best. I brought in a busted car I had mistakenly purchased from somewhere looking for a second opinion. He walked out in the parking lot and rather than beat me up told me my mistake. This car had a recall from Chrysler for the exact issue I have. And it’s apparently not fixable. He gave me honest opinions and facts as opposed to bravado and nonsense. He may not have made a sale today but I guarantee he will get every bit of the rest of my business.

Always responsive and reasonable prices. To reiterate my review: Tovar recently fixed my AC. They had a difficult time finding the leaks in the aging system, but persevered until it was fixed and working perfectly. The charges were reasonable, even when I had to take the car back to them! I love Tovar!!! I trust them to do right by me.

Great service. The worked me in for my oil change. We friendly and courteous and professional. As I left I mentioned my key fob was not working. They took the time to look at it and change the battery to see if it would fix it. It did not work but they gave me a name of someone that could help. Thank you Tovar Automotive for continued care of my cars and family

So, I was referred to this place by a friend who has had nothing but great experiences with this shop. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same. After calling and making arrangements for them to look at my vehicle and leave it for service, and even though I called and told them I was on my way, Once I got there I was told that they did not have time to do it. This happened twice!!!! Obviously if your dropping off a car you need a ride so not only was I made to waste my time but so did the person who was giving me a ride. Finally, I gave up and just left the vehicle. The next day (4 days in still nothing) I get a call from the shop with what I think is a ridiculous estimate that did not even include the most expensive repair I was requesting. When I went back to pick up my vehicle I was charged approximately $120.00 for them to look at my vehicle. If this would have been discussed prior to them looking at the vehicle it would have perfectly acceptable but it wasn't. I don't think the problem is with Tovar but with the person working the desk, I wish Tovar automotive the best but from the service I got it looks like this guy will ruin the business.

Awesome work on my car, very reasonable price. I brought in another vehicle because of the great service with my first, and they truthfully explained to me what's going on and was unable to fix the truck. Hats off to them for telling me the truth and being honest. About a week later, the truck blew oil everywhere and died. 276,000 miles will do that. I admire their honesty and will come back if needed! Great guys at Tovars.

When I needed a repair, Tovar automotive was there! Paul called me the day before and told me to drop my car off at 8:00. I needed a A1 service on my 2015 Mercedes-Benz. He did the oil change. He inspected my brakes and my shocks and my struts and gave me recommendation for fluid change. I will definitely be back to Tovar automotive

The folks over at Tovar Automotive won't do you wrong. I believe that they are under new management and they will do everything in their power to make sure that you are 100% satisfied. When we took our car back after the noise that it was making came back they not only rode with me to replicate the problem but they also got us in right away and replaced and fixed several items free of charge since we had already paid once. I have to say that I'm truly impressed by their customer service which is hard to come by these days! I definitely would recommend them!

I took my car in to see if they could figure out where a clicking sound was coming from. Paul suggested to leave my car overnight because they were busy. Next day a received a text for two estimate150.00 for a diagnostic test and another 150.00 for oil change/flush. When I said, I would take it back later Paul said, it was 150.00 just for them to look at my car. When I disagree he lower the price to 104.00 just to look at my car and 2qt of oil. Why put 2qt of oil when I had said it was due for an oil change? Do not recommend Tovar Automotive.

I started having car issues on my way home from work. It was already after 5:00 but I pulled into their shop, fingers crossed, because I was worried about making it home. There were 2 men plus the owner, Chris, and they were so knowledgeable and kind. Luckily it was a quick fix and they were able to take care of it same day. The customer service was exceptional and genuine! I am all for supporting local businesses and they made it easy to gain my business in the future!
