I came into the dealership with very low hope of walking out with a vehicle, and Rashad did absolutely everything he could to help me out and get me approved for the vehicle I wanted. Set up an appointment for 11:30 am today. Specifically told them I’d be waiting on the car to have the recall done. Was told 45 minutes to an hour at most. When I arrived at 11:20 to check in, was told that they’d get to my car ‘sometime this afternoon’. Said the appointment was just to drop the car off. When I quizzed them. I was told they were short-handed and that they were backed up. Why couldn’t they give a courtesy call beforehand? They knew they weren’t going to be able to honor my appointment well before 11:20 am! I drove 40 miles to keep my end of the deal. Bad deal they wouldn’t keep theirs. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me here. So, honestly, it’s my fault for trusting them again. I’ve been using Classic in Tyler with great results, and I’ll continue that moving forward! They’ve done a great job each time I’ve used them, so I’ll just consider this a lesson learned.

Bought a new Tacoma in 2021 and was happy with the transaction and service, so I bought a more expensive 2025 model. I discovered the top had been damaged during transport and, despite the fact that they acknowledged it, they refused to make it right and repair it. I was planning a 3rd Tacoma from them but will not buy from a dealer who doesn't stand by its vehicles. Their relationship with the transport company is more important than customer satisfaction. Very disappointing. UPDATE I received a response from Mr. Ortiz almost immediately after posting this review. He was extremely concerned and cared that I had a good experience with Toyota. I had an appointment less than a week after he contacted me to repair the top of my truck. It was repaired in a few hours. I am changing my stars because he has restored my faith in the dealership.

All the staff at Longview Toyota have been absolutely incredible! I have to give the biggest praise to Chris, the assistant service manager. He guided me on the best steps to take and broke down all the maintenance needs for my newer vehicle at its 50k recommended maintenance. Starting with the positive: Lane in the service department was great. Took care of me from a customer care perspective after many frustrations. He even reached out via text to give updates. Unfortunately, the negatives are overwhelming. 1) Appointment times have to mean something. For a noon appointment to fix an already-diagnosed issue, my car shouldn't sit an hour and a half before someone looks at it. That is just poor appointment/personnel/task management. People plan their days around appointment times. Plus or minus 15 minutes is one thing; hours is another. When I walk in for a 1 PM appointment for a one-hour service, "we *might* have it ready by 6" shouldn't even enter into the equation. 2) When I say I'm waiting for the car and not dropping it off, there is no reason the work should get done and I shouldn't be told my car is out there. My truck was finished for 2 hours, and it took me inquiring about it sitting there before they told me it was ready. 3) I told the customer service guy (not Lane) that before any work was done, it had to get approved by the insurance company. I said it several times. He made no such effort or communication with the tech team, and work commenced and parts were ordered before communicating with the insurance company. Fortunately, Lane stepped in to get everything paused and approved the correct way. 4) I sat and watched person after person with appointments get surprised with "it will be 3 or 4 hours" for work, including basics like oil changes and tire rotations. If you can't meet appointment timelines for predictable work, then you need to adjust your scheduling timelines. The only reason I'm give a 3 star instead of a two is because Lane went above and beyond for my service on several occasions.

If you’re in the market for another vehicle, I highly recommend Mason Lindamood! I have used him for my last two vehicles and have had the smoothest, easiest experience both times. So much so that even after recently moving, I still travelled over an hour just to use him. He put up with my constant indecisiveness and tight wallet with grace. He got me in a vehicle I loved and in a price range I needed. AND not only did I walk away with a new vehicle, so did my husband. My husband was in need of a more reliable truck but the numbers weren’t quite right for him. Mason worked tirelessly to get him in the right truck for the right price, without skimping on safety or features. And if you weren’t already convinced, Mason delivered the truck to him! My husband works 48 hour shifts as a firefighter and is in school full time, so his schedule wasn’t allowing him to make it to the dealership any time soon. Mason was willing to drive over an hour, after a long day, to bring my husband his truck. To say we are grateful is an understatement. If you want the best, you’ve got to see Mason! I promise you won’t be disappointed!
