My truck needed warranty service for previous work they had done. They got my truck in and fixed in one day. It turns out that it wasn’t part of the warranty but they fixed it anyway at no charge. They were friendly and happy to help. I definitely recommend them.

The shop had my Tahoe from 11/27/2024 to 2-27-2025. I was notified by the principal partner, Karry on 2/26/2025, that my truck repair was completed and he asked me if I had speakers in the back of my truck. I confirmed that when I dropped the vehicle on 11/27/2024 my stereo was in tact and working. Karry stated that my speakers had been stolen from my vehicle, that they left unlocked in their fenced yard. Karry informed me once I verified my truck was left unlocked that they do this so thieves don't break windows that they have to replace. My truck sat in the yard on the northernmost fence line for at least 45 days. I know this because I work down the street from this business and I saw my truck everyday for that time until I called to find out how much longer in mid Feb 2025. Upon picking up my truck, my entire vehicle was vandalized, my speakers, my amplifier and my windshield were stolen or broken. Kerry told me there was too much video footage to go through and that the thieves were probably not caught by the camera and if they were they were wearing hoodies. We paid him $4800 for my transmission and T-case, now his negligence has cost me another $2500 to replace my stereo and windshield that was destroyed from someone busting my rearview mirror off. I felt I was told I was S.O.L and its my problem that they willfully neglected the security of my vehicle while in their possession. I want my money back for the services and/or provided compensation for the loss of my personal property they neglected to protect in their care.

These guys are great, very helpful, I just hope they go easy on me. So I just wanted to do a follow up, , I was getting a little worried cuz I thought it was going to be one of them well we had to do this to it ,and that to it , so it's gonna be more than we talked about., not at all the price was right around what we discussed the truck drives like a million dollars I couldn't be happier,, if you have transmission problems I highly suggest taking it here,, these guys know there shit.

These guys are great they worked on my 1986 Monte Carlo several other of my personal vehicles and even my business vehicles including my motorhome. They have gone above and beyond and it’s nice to work with real people still practicing real old fashioned work ethic and honesty.

They had to rebuild my transmission it took them 2 weeks to do, it was a little difficult to get updates and was told 3 different dates on when it would be finished, felt like they started to ignore my calls when I did try to call in for updates. When it finally got finished I went to pick it up, they left a dirty greasy rag on my seat, my driver side door inner handle to shut the door was broke, and when I took it to the shop at first it had half a tank of gas, when I picked it up it only had half a quarter of a tank left

Wow! NEVER GO HERE!!! 33 days they've had my rv. NEVER called me until today, when I asked what I owe because I'm picking it up. I never got a diagnosis, or a phone call, or an estimate in all that time.... until today when I said I'm taking it out of there! I'm not going to be like the person who leaves it here for 2 years until I get it back! I kept saying it's my house. My cousin is dying, and I'm his caregiver, and I can't keep driving all over because these jokers are too busy to get it done! I worked for Ford for 17 years, been to a ton of little shops, and NEVER have I been treated so poorly! Every time I walked in to check the progress, I said call me, and I won't come in. No calls. Until I said I'm taking it TODAY!!! Finally got diagnosis, needs a carburetor, which I knew. Cost me $268. Hell of a diagnostic fee! Even dealerships don't charge that much! Supposedly they fixed a vacuum leak too, but never bothered to quote me, or tell me about it. Don't be the next Sucker.... avoid this place, especially if you're a woman! Rip off city!

He even noticed my tiers were the wrong size, I had no idea that made a difference ( not car savvy at all ). They took my car to a tier shop and got me a good deal on all 4. Had a great experience here! Was originally told at the Hyundai dealer I would need a whole new transmission. I decided to take my car here for a second opinion. They offered an actual free diagnostic and split the cost to tow my car there (provided I went with them for the repair) which was such a help. I originally talked to Carl who was super nice on the phone. Then Karey was the one who handled the rest of my experience and both were super great to work with. I was very wary of being taken advantage of especially being a woman and after my experience at the dealership. Initially I was a little surprised at the quote I received, but Karey was very thorough on explaining exactly why everything cost what it did. They came across very transparent at every step. And to my surprise, when they finished my vehicle, they let me know it actually didn’t need all of the parts they originally quoted me. So, I ended up paying less than the original quote. That showed me this shop operates with integrity and honesty and I will forever trust Transmasters with my vehicles! Thanks guys!

We were traveling from Cedar City to SLC when my rear differential bearing and both rear wheel axle bearings went out. Through a family connection, we made contact with Transmasters and they got me in the same day! Because of waiting for parts, the repair took a couple of days, but they were very good to work with. They were very patient while we considered buying a different vehicle. Their pricing was good and their service was excellent!

Right before Christmas 2024, we needed some work done on our car. We were traveling for the holiday and of course we were worried about getting it done in time and the possible cost. Well, not to worry because they understood our situation and worked through the two days to get it done before they closed for the holiday! Well we’re pleasantly surprised with the honesty in the diagnosis, repair and cost. This past week, we started hearing a loud noise in our tire well. Not what you want to hear when you’re driving around town. I called in, they said “bring it on in” so we did. It was a small fix, we lost some fasteners in the undercarriage protector, which they graciously replaced- at no cost!! Not only do I trust them to be honest in their recommendations but they are so nice and helpful. I really appreciate that they care for their customers and I 100% recommend their services to anyone looking for car repair!

My transmission went out, and the tow truck driver took me to Tans Masters. That was a lucky strike for me. They treated me great. I have an older vehicle (1990 Toyota pickup), and you can’t buy a transmission for it anymore. Karey at Trans Masters got online and found a rebuild kit back east and had it shipped. The job came in at the price originally quoted, and my truck now drives great. When the tow truck driver dropped me off and drove off, I found that he’d thrown my whole key ring – apartment key, keys for work – into the drop box! Disaster. And I wasn’t able to get to the garage during business hours. Karey went above and beyond to make an arrangement to help get my keys back to me. My inner door handle was partly broken when I dropped it off, and it broke off completely on them. They put a new one on for free. They even adjusted my idle. I would recommend Trans Masters to everyone. Very happy.

The rear driveline went out on our 1996 Ford Bronco. We stumbled upon Transmasters Transmissions in West Valley. Within a week we had the complete rebuild of the rear driveline including new gaskets, bearings , chains , fluid and everything else. We were issued a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty. The gentleman at the shop was incredibly helpful and considerate. We appreciated their service. Mr and Mrs R. Flores (forever patriots) !!!

We lost 3rd and overdrive while towing on a trip. Transmasters got us right in on a Friday afternoon and started to diagnose the issue. We have an aftermarket transmission and they were able to get a replacement valve body for this transmission and get it installed by the following Wednesday. We’ve towed a couple of cars right away and everything is working great. They were patient when we had questions and brought me in to see what they found for myself. Overall everything went great.

(Gunderson family) We have used this shop on multiple occasions and we’ve never been let down. The price is good always as expected and they always break down what they’re doing what it’s gonna cost to ask you if you still wanna go forward rather than just doing it and then expecting you to pay for it. We recently had our engine rebuilt here and they did a really good job and found all of the parts that it needed and didn’t just buy the OEM parts. They helped us price things out. We definitely saved thousands of dollars going there rather than going somewhere else and we could not be more happy with this mechanic shop. Carl and Kary are awesome guys to work with! Thank you!!! This will be our go to shop forever as long as we own cars. This will be our go to shop and we will always recommend friends and family.
