These guys are awesome! I had two other repair shops tell me we would have to go to the dealer and it would be super expensive but Triad Auto Specialty was able to fix our problem in less than an hour for under $100! They took the time to follow protocol/steps and identify the issue, so that tells me they are thorough. And they called as soon as the issue was resolved and let me know the cause, so that tells me they are honest. I highly recommend them and I will be a returning customer!

Recently, I returned to Triad Auto (Honda) for services of my Honda cars and truck after many years away using the dealerships. I had my truck serviced at a local dealer and they appeared to have neglected to tighten my suspension components leaving the truck in a dangerous condition. Not knowing the source of the rattling and clunking in the suspension, I turned to the EXPERTS at Triad Auto. They quickly assessed the issues and made the proper adjustments and tightened the suspension to spec. Now, my Ridgeline drives like new. Absolutely AWESOME!!!

I've been a regular customer of Triad Auto since 2003 using their services to maintain and repair each of my Honda Accords over that time and found them to be professional, dependable and fairly priced. The people who work here are some of the nicest I have ever met. I had my 2006 Honda Accord towed here after it started smoking one morning. The damage was too great to have it fixed so they kindly let me leave the car there for almost 2 weeks while I bought a new car & figured out how to get rid of the Honda. They were helpful every step of the way and I highly recommend them!!

Great experience here today having a timing belt replaced. The process was explained well, even with a model of the parts involved, and any possible surprises identified. When they did in fact happen, they called before going any further. I wish that I had found Triad Auto Specialty earlier for all of my repairs. They are not in a common area for this type of business which makes them a hidden gem.

My father always told me to find a mechanic I trust. In an economy where everyone seems to be taking advantage and price gouging… as a young female and ignorant to the workings of cars, it can be scary. These guys took care of me beyond what I thought was possible for a mechanic. They were respectful, empathetic, and I could trust them. My father did recommend them. So if you live in the Greensboro/triad area, be grateful you have these guys to service your vehicles. If I have another issue with my car again, I may likely drive the 3 hours there from my new home town in Asheville , just to ensure I have their expertise and loyalty to their customer. If you are looking for an honest mechanic, these are your guys. I didn’t know anyone who worked here but I felt like family right away. And taken care as such. I was given the best deal and felt comfortable knowing I was in capable hands.

Brought car in for brakes and an engine belt. I thought they did a good job on the brakes but I did notice a sound from the engine belt that wasn’t there before when I picked the car up in December. Barely a month of having the car back my check engine light and traction control light came on, which hasn't happened in the 9 years I’ve owned the car. The car has always been regularly serviced and maintained. At the end of December when they last serviced my car, I asked them to check my spark plugs and they told us then that the plugs looked fine and could wait. The codes on my car come February are saying it’s misfiring related to the spark plugs, which were only ever removed by triad auto because I still had stock plugs in the car.. Due to the very coincidental timing of the engine light and traction issue, I asked to speak to the service manager in an attempt for them to offer some sort of solution because perhaps the plug was put back in incorrectly, but they were adamant that couldn’t be possible…As soon as the quality of the work that was done was questioned (despite there being a warranty), the manager decided it was appropriate to ban us from service entirely. The sound to the engine belt they replaced in December has only gotten worse and they insist that also has nothing to do with the work they did and offered no solution without spending even more money. Today 2/25/25 I nicely asked the service manager for copies of the work that was done in December and was told they couldn’t find them or provide them despite already extensively searching boxes for the documentation so they claim. At this point it’s pretty clear that the misfire on my engine is a direct result of the service they provided that they refuse to admit any fault to. I got home and took the spark plug out myself and quickly found that the build up they claimed was so bad that it couldn’t be removed without possibly costing me a new engine, did not exist. Considering the high reviews, it’s very difficult for me to understand why I had this kind of experience.. I will never trust another place besides a Honda dealer to work on my car in the future. Very disappointing… DO NOT RECOMMEND….

I ONLY own Honda cars because of this business. They work on Honda and Acura and I have used this business for over 35 years. The owner Terry strives to model extreme excellence throughout his business. There is no other car repair shop that will leave you feeling like real family, no faking it. No matter who you speak with there, you are treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. The staff explains car issues in great detail, and they make the time and effort to please every customer. They are fair, honest, reliable, expeditious, and dedicated to what they do. Their technicians are highly trained and capable, and do very good work, with keen attention to detail. They will not recommend work to 'make a buck' but will honestly and fairly assess the needs of your vehicle, that will allow for best running performance and upkeep. Keep up the great work Triad!!

Have gone there a couple of times for oil changes and tire rotations. They have gotten me in quickly both times. They also did my NC inspection this last visit. Since I have new tires on the front, they have advised me not to rotate them yet (which saves me $), so thank you for that. They are nice folks with fair prices and they don't advise you to do things that don't seem to be necessary. I'm new to the area and am glad to have found an excellent place to have my Hondas serviced.
